The truck had not been wiped or disinfected, we are in a time of a pandemic, all other business have to provide a safe environment but U-Haul are exempt???! Not acceptable, this is the second time in less than a month that I have had to clean the truck, the last time was from the location in Whitby ON, and they billed me for items that I did not order and were not even in the truck.Michael E.

i ended up being charged for an extra day because the system they use to drop off the rental wouldnt work with my phone so until i got another phone there that was able to do the process properly it made it out that i was 2 hrs late on my return which was bullshit. i spent an hr trying before had to go and get a friend to use there phone and a cost me more cause it put extra km on my bill also the system they use needs to be fixedKelly M.

The building is very small and full of trucks around the outside. Was difficult to find a space to park the rental.Courtney B.
Complete mechanical was my pickup location at 110 McIntyre which is strictly an online Truck Share 24/7. When trying to pick up my vehicle through the online process it said my reservation was not compatible with Truck Share 24/7 at that location. I called uhaul customer service 3 times in which every time I was dismissed without help. They insisted that I get the mechanics to help me even though they don't work for uhaul. I just needed that code to get my keys out of the Truck Share 24/7 pickup box. There are no uhaul staff at that location but the uhaul company tells people you need to walk in and get your keys in person. This false information has created issues for a large number of people just this past week. The mechanics were nice enough to help me and call the uhaul district manager. I finally got my vehicle an hour later. Thank you to the kind mechanics for doing what uhaul wasn't capable of.Emilia L.

The Nrew Liskeard location is ONE location. They also did have a trailer of my choice available for any dates and any length of time. Until I said one way rental, at which time there was a spontaneous booking and it was no longer available. The uhaul told me that there were no trailers available in my s3cond choice town, North Bay. I went to my first choice there and they had a trailer of my choice available, which I rented a day earlier than planned. You suck and it costed me money, I want refunded.Mackie V.

While the people that worked at this location were friendly, they need to update the phone messaging system and someone answering live would be even better. The truck itself was overdue for an oil change, the tires would not have passed a safety inspection, the vehicle was completely dented and the comparison images on Truckshare were of the truck covered in snow! The vehicle was totally filthy and smelled of sweat. The vehicle did the job I needed and did it well though. I really liked the Truckshare option, but the process should be better explained in the intro email - That you will get a code only 1 hour prior to pick up, that you need 2 extra contact #, that you need about 10 minutes to get all the info into the system prior to leaving. I've been a U-Haul customer for many years and will continue to use their services... I feel U-Haul pricing is very good, the service is good and the vehicle selection/options are very good. Unfortunately on this move, I couldn't get the trailer I wanted with the truck, even though there was one parked next to the truck when I picked it up.ivan L.

Clean the garbage and tools out of the truck before renting it back out. Two hammers on the passages floor and garbage and rotting food behind the seats smoke smell and ashesscott G.
Note Rental and Return location was not Complete Mechanical, was location on Pinewood Park. Customer service dept was good, I called ahead as I had to extend the return time by a few hours, they allowed me to no issues even if someone else was waiting for it. Booking online was easy, Would recommend adding hours between day rentals. I knew I needed the truck two days but knew I needed 50 hours instead of 48 or 72. The truck was clean and in good condition, except for wipers. I didn't have time to take it to their shop to change it out. The depot didn't have extras available. Had to steal one from another truck in order to leave on time.Dan M.
I know that there is not enough space at the location for the big cube vans but when you have to go to the other end of town to get your cube van it is an inconvience. since it being charged by kilometeres it seems that it is wrong to charge for the kilometeres from the pick up spot. especially if it is only being used in town. Going out there to get the u-haul and then bringing it back really adds up on the charges. But overall the service, staff and vehicle were outstanding. will recommend it to all. and will use it again.connie B.

Upon returning the vehicle, the staff didn't check the vehicle mileage, fuel or check for damages. They took the keys and provided no receipt or paperwork stating that the vehicle was returned.jolynn W.
This location is located directly downtown. Approximately a 3 minute walk from my house. Their pickup location is a 15 minute drive out of our city in a neighbouring city, so already an additional 20 km are added right off the bat having to drive the truck into the city, then out of it again. Luckily had someone who was able to drop me off and pick me up, or it would have been another 60-70 dollars in cab fare. The truck had 2/5ths of a tank of gas when I picked it up, lot was snowed in with about 1,5 feet of snow with entire truck covered in 1,5 feet of snow as well. It hadn't snowed in the past three days. It was a serious effort to get the truck out. Luckily my friend had a shovel in their car. All in all, my first experience will this U-Haul Location will most definitely be my last.Cole F.
Firstly, you ask for comments so you can improve service for the next customer? What about the paid customer who may not have recieved a good experience, like myself. Confusion about vehicle I was to get, gas light went on less than 2 blocks from pulling out of establishment. When I returned vehicle I asked how I was to be reimbursed for gas charge, she didn't know. It was chaotic. As a ride was patiently waiting for me, I HAD to request bill to which was hastily given to me, and I am not satisfied of its charges. Will be revisiting my bill, or perhaps you can revisit it and advised if is was properly charged, helping the paying customer and not just the next customer. Suggestion...Your review section should say Comments: did we serve you well/ how can we improve our services to you and others in the futureSharon L.
Booked a van. Overbooked, only had a truck that would have been taken for an errand by an employee if we were a few mins later. I didn't get emailed an invoice (which I need), the computers were slow so they wrote down the credit card info in a notebook. there was only 1/8 of a tank of gas in the truck when I got it. I asked to rent a 4X4 pickup truck. When I was told they had none I settled for a regular 1/2 ton pickup. I assumed it had snow tires since I live in North Bay ON. It did NOT. In fact the summer tires were lacking in tread. As a result, I ended up stuck and had to pay $200 for a tow truck to come and pull me out. Not a pleasant experience and a huge waste of time and money. I will tell people to try someone else next time I am asked.mark F.
I called to rent a 10' truck. She told me I'd have to pick it up on Pinewood Park Dr and return it to McIntyre St. Pinewood Park is on the other side of town. We went there at 4:30 pm. It was closed. We called and she said that she had told us that we'd have to go across town to McIntyre, pick up the key, go back to Pinewood for the truck and return it downtown. We opted to drive there and take a little 9' van. The van was FILTHY (I have photos). We ended up making two trips (in the other, we would have only had to make one). It was the WORST rental experience ever. I'd never rent a Uhaul again and will let everyone know to not use them in North Bay. I'm a realtor. You should pay a visit to their office. Initially a larger truck that wasn't sutiable for us was alllocated to us but after some discussion with customer services over the phone we finally managed to get them back down to one in between the orignally ordered truck and one the that they wanted to give us over he phone. The staff at the pick up location were freindly and professional and very accomodating in going to the length of driving us to the other location to pick up the vehicle as we were without transport at the time. The pick up was conducted efficiently, again with a friendly and helpful attitude but when we got the truck the inside looked like someone had a fight with an extra large double double and lost but this was easily wiped down. The truck itslef was mechancally sound and reliable and never missed a beat on our journey from North Bay to Winnipeg.Niels B.

1. People there were great! Helpful, friendly. No problems there at all. But give those poor folks a decent place to work, not a leftover garage and cramped parking lot without even a decent sign saying U-Haul. 2. I had been guaranteed a large moving truck. I got a van instead. This also happened to my son-in-law. And a coworker. I'm seeing a pattern here. 3. The van smelt like it had been used to move animals. Chickens? Wet dogs? The van was nicely cleaned though so someone had tried their best to remove the smell.kevin C.

When I noticed a low air in RR tire message, I was told it was due to a faulty sensor. When I stopped for gas, the tire was pretty low so I filled it with air. The UHaul staff should have measured the air pressure but didn't.Joe L.
