Nothing the service I got from a young lady at that location was incredible recommend to anybody thanks

Dustin W.I made the reservation under my name, but because I indicated that a relative would be the main driver, this caused the reservation to be under her name instead of mine. At no point in your online booking service does it warn you that this will be the case. It took nearly 3 hours of both her and I calling UHaul customer service repeatedly to get the reservation put in my name to allow me to utilitize the online 24/7 pick up. We both had to call about 3 times. This is not an issue that should have taken hours to resolve. The reservation was attached to my phone number, my email address, AND my credit card, and yet UHaul representatives said that the reservation belonged to her and that I could not edit the reservation. Absolutely ridiculous. THEN on the day I was to return the rental, I called again to ask for the time to be extended because I was worried that I wouldn't be able to return it on time. The person I spoke to said (Nathan was his name) not to worry about it, that he would extend it by a few hours for me. Well, he failed to make any note of this conversation or what he told me on the reservation and he did not inform the location I was returning the truck to of this conversation either. So an hour after my original return time, I get a call and text messages saying I will be fined for not returning the equipment on time. This entire experience was unnecessarily stressful during an already stressful time in my life. I will never be using UHaul again and I will warn everyone I know not to utilize this service either. At no point was I offered any discount for the time I had to spend resolving these issues when a UHaul representative failed to resolve them for me. Multiple times both I and the aforementioned relative were given inaccurate information from UHaul representatives. 0/10 is how I rate this experience overall. The only individual that ended up being even slightly helpful was the representative from the return location who allowed me to pay for an additional day rather than being fined due to your representatives' incompetence and she is not even a UHaul employee.

Charles L.No one was at the drop off location when I arrived. I parked my rental and returned the keys as I was told to do at Michigan Storage. I was then incorrectly charged $121 because the contract I was put under was incorrectly processed. Customer Service has been unwilling to do any sort of investigation to figure out this issue. I do not recommend renting with UHaul.

Location was roughly 30 minutes from the location where I placed the reservation making us drive quite a ways out of the way to pick up the truck. Truck was larger than reserved.

Allan B.The app had a glitch. When I clicked to sign in, the area to type my email and password never displayed. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. It did not work. When I went to “create new account “ it said. Email already exists and the finally popped up the area to type. This was very stressful being stranded out there and a reason to not use you app. Seems like every time I do something goes wrong.

ANDREW DALE S.Truck was covered in snow - once I cleaned that off, there was almost an inch of ice on the windshield. Took me almost 30 minutes to get the truck drive-able. Then, when I returned the truck they charged me a $25 cleaning fee!

Jeffery S.If you really want my feedback…here it is: The woman at the front desk is very condescending and talks to me like I was a child and like I was an inconvenience because I came in at 145pm on Saturday. Secondly, charging an environmental fee of $1 that nobody can explain seems fishy and it made me question what I was being billed for. Lastly, charging me a $20 “convenience fee†made me feel like I had to do someone else's job or I was going to get charged. Not a good feeling. If anyone cares,or wants to speak to me human-to-human, please call me at 248/860-8581 Joe Williams PS the irony is that the truck (the machine) functioned fine and it worked well for my purpose. My associated problem was with the the person and the process: both entirely fixable.

I don't know if it is the responsibility of the pick up location to clean these or if U Haul corporate handles this task. There were no hand trucks available but I understand there is short supply throughout the U Haul system or they are concentrated in specific areas.

Jim H.There was no way to assess the inside of the truck as the application only allows for outside assessment. The only thing to assess inside the truck was clean or not clean. While the vehicle was clean, it smelled like cigarette smoke and there were some burn holes in the seats. Additionally, the knob to control the defrost was not present resulting in the inability to use defrost the cab. There was no way to adjust the mirrors and the passenger side mirror was not useable as it was out of alignment.

Jason K.The staff person was very accommodating and friendly. My overall experience with uhaul was disappointing but it had nothing to do with this location. I drove 15 mins out of the way to pick up the truck and you charged me for the extra mileage, you didn't have the appliance dolly I requested, and upgraded me to 26' truck instead of indicating what I needed wasn't in stock (smaller size) just to keep me from going to your competitors.

Lori W.I've been using uhaul for many years. This time was the worst. I was scheduled for mobile pickup for a 3pm reservation. I was unable to pick up my rental until 4pm, due to issues with the website. I made 3 calls to customer service and the supervisor which was the last call, was very rude to me and tried to send me to a further location after i was there an hour already. First rep stated the website issue was fixed, yet it wasn't. Filed a complaint and no one has gotten back to me after 5 days. They keep reopening the complaint. And this location refuses to contact or compensate for the problem.
