The people behind the counter were very nice but I was the only customer there and it took an hour and a half to complete the process. I had to do everything w another Uhaul person on the phone and my email and taking pictures and uploading. It was miserable and caused me to miss help I had scheduled to load my heavy pieces. I have called and requested a copy of my invoice which I NEVER have received and I now (30 days later) have received unknowingly another $31+ charge to my card that I have to track down. The truck was a terribly rough ride and not at all what I have experienced with Uhaul in the past. Very frustrating. Again, the lady behind the counter was very apologetic but had no authority to do anything for me.

There was a problem with the engine. I believe he said there was a knock or something. You might want to check it out before you let it go out again. He is a mechanic and can pick things out. But everyone was friendly.

The owner has a cat inside the building. I told her I was allergic to cats and she just said she used to be too. She then expected me to attach the trailer. She said that Uhaul usually tells her if someone needs assistance. This was a HEAVY 6Ã-9. Fortunately, her sister came with a jack and assisted. The store was just too much. I have a photo of the cat lying on the counter. In addition, the UHAUL website had the return location as the first place I tried to rent. It was only after I went there and couldn't use the service for return that I found out it needed to go back somewhere else. This made me late with the rental and I was charged extra fees.

I made the reservation at my nearest location. When I got there at 7:30am to pick it up, the nice lady there for me they didn't have one. I checked my reservation and U-Haul had changed it to a location approximately 20 miles away without my knowledge not permission. Arrive I was in a bind at that point, I had no choice but to make the drive and go get it, using at least $15 in extra gasoline (thanks Joe) to pick it up and drop it off. Once I got there, the "uhaul lady" wasn't even there and had to do the checkout over the phone with the very nice lady that runs the country store. This was a very disappointing U-Haul experience created by U-Haul's failure to hold the reservation that they accepted. Feels like a Seinfeld episode.

Truck was on E. Light was blinking that it would run out of gas. Someone apparently forged my name on the contract. Couldn't get the contract emailed and my return location was 45 min from where I moved to. Lady in the store was nice but she wasn't the rental person she called her on the phone.

I placed the keys to the truck in the hands of the woman in charge. She stated I didn't have to do a self check in . The next day I was charged for it . After a late night call to U Haul they resolved my issue and credited my account back. Being Honest helps

Being a woman, it was difficult to hook up a cargo trailer. No help available. The store clerk being a woman also said she isn't allowed to assist.

Unprofessional. Did not do a walk around on the truck. Had too many other things going on instead of taking care of my rental. Will not ever recommend this location to anyone. RUDE!!!!

paying $40 for returning the vehicle 2 hours past return time is unfair since we had a problem locating the place and there were no gas stations on the way to the store or between our destination and the store and the store had no gas pumps. Also extra mileage was charged. There should have been nothing charged for cleaning. I really don't place fault on store owner. I fault the U-Haul's policy and procedures and no flexability given to the store owner.

Had no knowledge of truck and reservations. Had to call someone else and I had to talk to someone on the phone to rent the truck. The overall process of reservation was disappointing. Made reservation on line and when we called to verify, they did not have a truck and we were told you don't guarantee trucks for online reservation. Had to drive over 50 miles away to pick up next closest truck. We had to pay for gas to get the truck and it really hurt our budget. Will probably not use Uhaul again.

The woman who owns the country store where thenUhaul was located was very nice. The truck was supposed to be available at 4AM, but the online checkin was not working. I didn't get in touch with her until 6. I missed my movers and it took twice as long to move. Also, the truck was clean but needed an oil change and maintenance- lock on back was broken.

They added on an insurance plan and I didn't notice until after. Also I was charged for cleaning when I cleaned it. Horrible.

You should let people know they will need to pay for a cleaning charge. No one told me this and $25 fee was added. Not happy about this.

These smaller type businesses are extremely fast they're knowledgeable of all their rental units and I have zero complaints. I prefer to do business this way. Small convenience store friendly service Great U-Haul service. Checked in 10 minutes checked out in 5!

The cleaning fee of $25 was to much. It would have been nice if you guys would inform the customers of all the extra fees that come along with the rental. I think its poor business to not inform customers so that they can make a better informed decision. 9 out of ten times I probably will not use this company again.

I ask for my recipe and five days later I still haven't get any recipe. Plus they make me clean the truck and it was exactly how I got it. The lady's from this place don't know how to do anything at all.

They put the wrong itinerary to where I was going when I told them I was going on way!! Then they charged me and extra $100 and still taking money from my account and I haven't received my deposit back!! I will never rent from uhaul ever again!! I will not be recommending anyone to uhaul ever!!

I have been using uhaul for many years, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. First the location DID NOT have the appliance dolly that I had ordered when I made the reservation. so we had to move the fridge, washer and dryer by hand, The 475 lb safe was a real challenge. I had to pay 4 men to move that and my tool box.. wait that's not all,, the truck I got at the Country Store in Carriere Ms had no muffler on it. I told the agent I was not going to drive that thing from Mississippi to Tennessee. I then had to drive it to another location to change it out. OK I went to Phillips in Picayune Ms to do that, I got a truck that the previous renter had a dog or a cat and it had hair all over the place, well my allergies went crazy for the next 2 days. I moved to Savannah Tn and they had me returning the truck in Cabot Ar. over 200 miles away. This was one of 2 trucks I rented for this move and I returned both trucks a day early and never even got a Thank you,, I'M DONE WITH UHAUL!!!

obvious the owner was not there and she was not computer savy. took her 30 minutes and many repeat tries to get the information into the computer. even tho i had pre registered and given all my information ahead of time and had my reservation confirmed. the truck was parked in a muddy area. it had rained the night before and the truck was parked in the red mud and mud was splashed all over the sides of the truck and the tires. the inside of the cab had trash and semi empty cans of red drink left over from previous user.i definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Advise customers to make sure that they adjust their seat and mirrors before moving any trucks. Make sure the mirrors move easily from inside the vehicle. Sometimes when they sit for a while from not being used the mirrors will be stuck.
