The back of the truck smelled awful. No, really. Some people would gag. Someone had shipped dogs or something. It smelled like rotting dog poop. I had to wash the bay twice to make it bearable and so that the furniture wouldn't stink. I think the store should have know about this and, if so, done something about it.
Duane P.I wanted a receipt before I left but they did not supply that. I did not receive a email but I was charged $70. I was told the agent to put an extra day and it would be and extra $29. So I'm trying to figure out what the extra charge is

Teresa D.I've been using uhaul for over 28 years and I've never been equipment that doesn't drive over 50 miles. The speed limit in Alabama is 70 which had me lagging all the way back. I will never use this location ever again. Upper management may want to correct it asap.

He never articulated the cause of his agitation, so I assumed it had nothing to do with me. So I excused that whole interaction. I just needed a van for a quick move job. A more temperamental customer may have been offended or upset by the interaction. I, however, just needed a van to move my stuff…

The staff at Covenant are wonderful, to the point that I will consider them if I need a mechanic. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Daniel C.My issue was not with the truck or the location, but with the mobile check in process. Not only did I provide the drivers license photo front and back hours before pickup, but was asked again at pickup and then again by an agent. When we finally gave up and went inside to pickup, we were told the license was flagged. The license was not expired and there was no reason for it to be flagged. Thankfully we were still able to get the truck but it was a lot of unnecessary trouble
Tre P.Wait time to pick up truck via mobile check in was unacceptable. Had to wait almost 30 minutes and then the rental time was NOT extended 30 minutes. I still had to return the truck within the original 4 hour time frame.
Phillip G.I reserved a van in Leeds. When I got my reservation it was for another town quite a distance away. When we got there we were told that we could not have a van because we did not have current employment since we were retired. We were given a truck instead which I could not get into so my wife had to drive by herself. Bottom line... We will NEVER use U-Haul again

JOHN P.The person at the counter who did my paperwork was the rudest person I had ever met. He said he hated doing UHaul paperwork and wishes he didnt have to do them at all. He was rude and complained the entire time. No seemed annoyed I rented a large number of furniture pads because they would need to be loaded. If I had not needed the truck that afternoon I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere.

Martin S.The mobile check-in was terrible. It took me an hour and 3 separate cell phone numbers to check in. There was another person there trying to check in and she had been there over an hour. When I returned the truck it wouldn't recognize my location so I had to leave. Another couple returning had same problem. It is not rocket science. Do better!

Greg B.Guy at the counter was a real loser. Accused me of locking a lock that hanging off the back of the truck that I never touched. Told him I had no reason to even touch it but he wouldn't believe me. Accused me of not putting gas back in the truck when I know for fact I had just left the gas station and the truck was low when I got it. He was extremely slow had to wait 30 minutes while he moped around just wasting time. This guy is horrible please find another place to rent from
Gary T.The truck was completely dirty and damaged the service engine light was on and the tire pressure sensor was on. By far the worst experience I've had with a rental truck. Not to mention the guy took a picture of my driver's license with his personal cell phone!
