Upper Marlboro is a joke you told me I had to have a round trip and bring the truck back from Myrtle Beach South Carolina and return it the next day I told him it was impossible but I managed to get it back to Brandywine by 430 only to be told that why did you drive it round trip you could have dropped it off in Myrtle Beach so I drove 440 miles plus a $180 extra in gas for no reason and I'm awaiting a call back from U-haulJIMMY S.
This was not a true location, but a gas station in a sketchy area. Vans were parked awkwardly and was difficult to move. Service attendant did not know how to process the transaction. But was very apologetic as he FaceTimed with his manager.Tonya T.
Not only would I never rent from here again I wouldn't recommend anyone to rent from here ever. The owner was rude, yelled and cussed at me. Accused me of stealing the key to the rental truck. I explained to him that the dolly fell off the truck because the door wasn't closed all the way. I live 2 miles from the Marathon/U-haul rental place and as soon as I got home and realize the door was open and the dolly was gone, I went back to look for it. I told the owner I would pay for and replace the dolly and that I took full responsibility for losing it. The owner began shouting and yelling at me, â€œwe are not for saleâ€. I kindly asked him to stop yelling at me so I could explain what happened. He continued to yell and say I didn't give him the key. I called customer service to file a complaint. The owner took my contract and said he wouldn't close my account until he had time. I asked him for a receipt and final bill he said he doesn't know how much. I asked him could he find out. Then another customer came in to dispute something with her gas and mileage and he began yelling at her to bring the truck around. I reserved the usual for a 2:00 pick up on Wed, June 28th. I didn't pick the haul up till close to 4:00. It was supposed to be a 6 hour rental. I brought it back the next day, I tried to extend it online but couldn't get to check in. This owner has caused me to have anxiety and fear by him yelling, screaming and cussing at me and the other renter. Regardless that the dolly fell off the truck, I didn't deserved to be treated in an inhumane, disrespectful manner. I have no reason to steal anything in my life and those accusations are very insulting. I am going to also file a complaint against him with the Better Business Bureau because this is not how customers should be treated.Alice V.

The staff was overall pleasant to work with. However, I gave 3 stars for the lack of good customer, unwilling to put the handtruck on the truck for me. I rented a handtruck. It was heavy and in the store. I am a 60 year old women. I explained to the man helping me that I am having back surgery soon and could not pick up anything heavy. He said it's not heavy and that he would help me. He wheeled the hand truck out the store door, handed it to me and walked away. I was left to manage getting the handtruck on the uhaul alone. 梁Lisa W.

The vehicle was disgusting, old food, dirty, leftover trash in the back and never got a final receipt, even though I kept asking for it. It's on a busy corner and is hard to get in and out of, especially with a truck. There is no counter space to do paperwork and you're standing in a store aisle, in the way of regular customers. But the staff was very nice and efficient.victor V.

The rep who assisted us was very friendly and helpful. Not only was he knowledgeable about his job, but he was also swift. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. The vans AC doesn't work it smelled horrible the van inside was filthy and windshield was cracked so I got pulled over and issued a ticket also the the uhaul app wouldn't allow me to drop off at a closer to home location witch was a pain just all around horrible uhaul experience that made moving much harder in the middle of summerJames H.

The gentleman I worked with was rude and flippant when I asked questions. His reply was, have you ever rented a u-haul?! I filled out information on the back of an old Manila folder. The location is a gas station and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car as there was no parking.STEPHANIE M.

This location is ridiculous as it's located in the back of a convenience store. The uhaul employee unsuccessfully attempts to run his store and rent vehicles in one. He often had to halt our location to run and assist customers to check out items. Plus, the older gentleman is rude and doesn't need to be working at his lady. I'm appalled you actually utilize this space for U-haul rental.Dawn D.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. In an effort to save time and be efficient, I did everything online, to include the check-in. I was supposed to only have to go in to pick up the key. When I arrived, the proprietor would not give me the key. I showed him the confirmation and he refused to believe me because he said he didn't see my contract on his screen. He actually called UHaul customer service and they confirmed I had a contract. He still refused to give me the key. He finally handed me the key and told me that me and the customer service rep were responsible for the rental and he wasn't going to be held accountable. I was there for almost 45 minutes for something that was supposed to be 5 minutes. It was the worst customer experience I've ever had. I have no plans to use UHaul again.Kia J.
