It was odd how you had to go to a different location to check in, then you followed a guy in your car to the pick up location about a quarter of a mile down the road. But, all of that was still okay just a bit strange. But, it was disappointing when the guy opened the truck and said it was dirtyâ€¦he got a broom and started cleaning it some, but the drink holders and cubby holes were all filthy.Robert J.

Worst uhaul experience I had. Was supposed to do mobile check-in to get my truck. Website blocked me and wouldn't let me proceed. Used a stranger's phone after logging in and had the same issue. We were surrounded by uhaul trucks and it was saying we weren't in the correct location, even after he changed his settings. Wife ended driving 30 minutes there to use her phone and wouldn't let her check in either. We called and were on hold for about an hour. Finally got through to the chat and the chat was disconnected. Tried again and finally received the lockbox code, but the truck was blocked by two other uhauls that were returned earlier. Fortunately, we found a key in an open lockbox to move a truck off to the side so we could squeeze around and get out. Since I waited two hours, had four movers planned that were unable to make it because we were too late. If you calculate the 60 $/hour (cheap) for two movers and take away the deposit of 100 $I'm out a bunch of money. They offered a 35 $refund and a 10 $certificate. Yikes. Asked for a manager to contact me. They did not. I do wish it was a different experience.Aaron W.
Overall, U-Haul customer service does not exist because you can't get in touch with anyone. My original drop off location informed me that they don't accept truck returns. The 1-800-468-4285 number is useless because you can't talk to a real person and the phone tree is terrible. Take note, when people call a phone number they want to talk to a real person. The lady I spoke to at the Cross Town location was very helpful and was the only positive aspect of my rental experience. Next time I will consider using Penske.WILLIAM F.
lh front tire was square , truck hopped up and down at low speeds and shook like a dog pooping razor blades at 50 , i was afraid to go any faster as the tire would blow , also it pulled to the right , if i let go of the wheel it headed to the ditchron E.

Better communication between the pick up / drop off drivers with the customers. There was much wait time for their arrival. Better knowledge of their arrival time would have been appreciated. Other than that, terrific service both in MA and FL.Laurie C.

I've been charged 3 separate times, for 3 different amounts. I've had to call multiple times to get a response, would NOT recommend. First, my reservation â€œwasn't thereâ€, after finding it, they had it in the system I was returning to Sarasota, which wasn't the case. Haven't had a very good experience.Leticia C.

This location had everything that was needed, and I couldn't even get an auto transport where I initially requested the truck from in Alma, Georgia, which ultimately caused damaged to my vehicle and I will be putting in a claim soon enough. I showed the location manager Steve who also took pictures of it. I had to put Gorilla glue onto my bumper so it wouldn't drag on the he ground as I drive it. I went to 2 collision places today to get an estimate and each one I have to wait since they are short staffed. If I had gotten what I requested and was willing to pay for it, I should have gotten it, which I did not.Christopher R.

The seat in the 10' GMC Box Truck had to be the most uncomfortable one I've driven in for a long time. I spent about 13 hours on the road and my backside was killing me. Very uncomfortable. May have had something to do with the short leg room as well. I'm 6'-3" and the leg room was definitely short.George D.

Just trying to booky containers was an absolute nightmare.. My containers were delayed twice. They were guaranteed to be at my new home on a certain date and I made arrangements for movers. After having to reschedule them the 1st time because Uhaul delayed my shipment, Uhaul called to tell me they would not be delivered on the day promised. I received a couch ruined. I have had nothing but grief with Uhaul.Vanessa B.
