My only minor complaint is that there wasn't anyone on site that could help me check out the trailer. I did arrive early, so I can understand why. The owner of the location did work with me over the phone and we got everything sorted out. The trailer was in good shape and clean.
Christopher KSomeone to help you with the trailer, NO one ever came out to help. They just said find one and give them the UV #, glad I knew how to hook up a trailer. Had to look for a trailer that had a wiring harness and not damaged.

Kenya TQuite difficult to get in touch with to pick up vehicle. The check in process took longer than necessary. We rented a dolly along with our truck and it wasn't provided. Would not recommend this location.
Chandler Bno one was there to check in the equipment called the number on my paper work to check equipment in got told to call another number. Then told by that guy to just leave it there.
brian cI return the vehicle and tow dolly with the exact same amount of gas, 1/16. I know because the trucks computer read 30 miles left on empty when I picked it up and the is exactly how I returned it. Unfortunately, I was charged for 2 gallons from the drop off location, almost $30. Ridiculous!
Craig SThere was no qualified U-Haul representative on-site when I arrived to pick up my rental. I wasted 30 minutes trying to track down someone. Finally gave up and called U-Hauls 1-800 number. Had a corporate person check me out over the phone. Apparently I'm not the 1st

JONATHAN SIt took the guy about 30 minutes to figure out and get everything in the iPad for me to rent the car hauler. In my opinion he needs retrained if he was ever trained anyway. He had me looking to figure out what was missing!
Dana BSorry Arabs were rude and lazy and should have their contract pulled. I returned the trailer 3 hours early and they tried running my card four times last night and only stopped because I called Mike the sorry owner of crossroads chevron and gave him one hell of a cussing.

Chad CI were charge 184 to rent that truck and I was told that it would be 39,99 plus 30 iability .I wasn't asked about liability. I was only ask for ID and 2 references. Tere will be something do about this

Timothy MWould not recommend UHaul, I rented a 2 wheel car dolly to pull a Honda Accord from Birmingham to North MS. one way. The cost was $260 which I believe to be excessive. Apparently, renting and buying the dolly are one in the same.
George WThe attendant did not know how to handle a contract . .spent 30 minutes even though I had done on line. did not speak english well had to go on phone and fill out form with another guy who also spoke a foreign language. he did not check anything out on the trailer just hooked it up and ran inside. he was the only employee at the gas station. Left tail light did not work. trailer pulled fine. The online person told me this location was in Sardis. I was coming from Como a distance of 5 miles. This location was 25 miles from Como. Need better information in the U_Haul computer. Not a good pickup experience /at all.

Michelle HAddress was misleading, but this may be where they get their mail. The address said Sardis, MS, but Sardis is 15 miles away. Oxford is 7 miles away and Batesville is 10 miles away.
ERNEST RBetter interaction with attendant. He was rude, and hard to understand, didn't show us where the truck was, didn't get the dolly for us we had to come back and ask for it then get it ourselves out of a storage closet.

Austin VI set up my rental to be picked up in Horn Lake. No one told me the location was changed to Sardis, but it was actually past Batesville. Worst communication and customer service I have seen.
James ALocation of return in Sardis, MS was not marked at all.It is a gast station/convience satore. I actually went to the business next door to return the Uhaul and they let me know it was this next building over.
Todd OI drove to the drop off. The owner/representative/ cashier told me to drive behind the building and leave it. He was too busy to give me a receipt and said he'd email it. Being a Middle Aged woman I asked if someone would be back there to help me and he said "no, maybe I'll come". Thankfully I had my 19 year old daughter with me. Behind the building was sloped so after backing the 6x12 trailer up to an abandoned building, we had to pull old tires full of water from a dump and lay them in front of the trailer tires to keep it from rolling forward. She and I unhitched the trailer and picked it up enough to get it detached from my SUV. The guy never came out to help. We left.
Marci MIt is a small convenience store with regular customers. Their computer equipment ( phone/tablet ) was slow. Super nice people, don't expect them to help with parking and unhooking. We had a trailer: told us where to park and unhook.
Nicole SWhen reservations have been made, that reservation should hold a spot for both pickup and drop off, which this reservation did not. I was told at drop off they could not accept my trailer, which then instigated a 45-min phone call (on hold for better part) to find a location, which was a additional 11-miles from my home. Unless no other choice, I will never use this service again!
Earnie MThis location is also a convenience store/gas station and a busy one. One person working to handle everything. Internet was out at store and was just told to go park it but he would not be able to close out my return until the internet came back up. He was rude and not at all helpful but was also busy because he was the only person there. I was able to complete the drop off from the app but since this was my first time doing this I left unsure if the drop off was complete and uneasy that someone may call me asking why I didn't turn in the uhaul. So for these reasons my experience was worrisome.
Damian MI was charged for 6 gallons of gas when I had filled the truck up exactly to the same amount as when I got it. Ridiculous.
Garrett HThis location was absolutely horrible. Customer service was the shits took me an hour to get my uhaul. the lady made me text her the number off the uhaul after i left and told me it hadn't even been checked in but just take it and she'll do it later. the location was dirty and gross.
Harrison CHolly was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to help us overcome a bad situation at another location. Holly turned a bad day into a good one and we appreciate it.
Christian MWhen we returned the trailer, it was about one hour past the return time. We explained to the young man who accepted the trailer that the torrential rain in Mississippi over the last 2 days slowed our move process down and asked if they would please waive another full 24 hour/1 day charge. The man said he had no idea that he only works at the gas station and couldn't assist. The drop location was not a Uhaul Center...it was a Chevron Gas Station. Please let us know if you can credit us $29,5 that you immediately charged to my credit card yesterday (8/1/22). You even added the $8 Insurance coverage despite receiving trailer back with no damages! Very unethical!

Richaud SLocation internet was down and manager couldn't get adequate support from U-Haul by phone. It took over 30 minutes to resolve and I had to do it myself with the regional office.

TERRELL SYou can work harder to get the correct reserved truck at the correct reserved location. Neither of those things worked. I had to use more gas for a bigger truck than I needed.

monica cThe only thing I noticed only after a police officer followed me for a bit. I stopped to gas's up shortly after and noticed the sticker on the license plate was expired. It said 3/31/22, I'm sure the police officer was able to call it in, he went on about his business.

David PSigned up for a self check pickup and had to go inside and use standard check in procedures. The truck was in good condition but not swept by the last renter.

Trey SSardis location staff was not attentive nor very knowledgeable of how to use the online system, so it was a long time for a pick-up. I went by days early to be sure my equipment and supplies would be there. He offered no on hands assistance to see which truck I would be assigned, and then I was told "I have no supplies'" but he ever did anything to try to get thing or call U-Haul to let them know or assist in obtaining at another location. I then went to the Batesville location, but they were closed on Friday. Went again on Saturday and just happened to catch someone there assisting with another reservation pick-up. If locations are not going to be open the hours on the doors of the business, then they need to give a heads up or change the signage!!! Unnecessary frustrations when already dealing with a stressful moving situation. If I had not rented int he past from U-Haul and knew how difficult it could be to get supplies, then I would have been seriously upset and SOL for my needs on the day of the reservation!!! Furthermore, the text from U-Haul does not give directions to the correct location. It maps you to the west side of Batesville instead of the east side. I told the man at the pick-up location as well as the rep who called from the Jackson location, but neither seemed to care.

jason sDuring the process, the store clerk was continually asking us to step back and let other customers pay for beer and other items. Sexually explicit items were visible on the counter, the clerk was very hard to understand, the truck was littered with trash, we informed him of this, he had no response. This was our first time to use this service, definitely not a place we would use again.
