Service here was decent. No complaints and was a quick pickup. More along the lines of the app not working nor the website I was told to use, not recognizing my phone nor email that the entire reservation was set for. So add this in with sitting around outside fighting freezing cold weather and trying to get someone on the phone was a terrible experience. I don't believe I'd ever use U-Haul again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Rented vehicle transport trailer online which included drop off location closest to my home which was 10 miles away. Once I picked up the trailer and was in route home, I received call from U-Haul office informing of a new drop off location which was 32 miles away from my home. I questioned why the change and was informed the Eunice drop location was no longer accepting transport trailers. The next day I heard from another facility the Eunice dealer does not like vehicle transport trailers on that facility. If this is true, the online drop off location should have NOT allowed my selection. I'm not satisfied with U-Haul changing my original contract details after picking up the trailer. I believe U-Haul should reimburse me for fuel mileage and additional travel time to/from the Crowley drop off location from my home. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

The place is inside one mall. There was no sign on the outside of the building. The place has a different name, what made me uncertain about the place to drop off. But when I came close, there was a U-haul sign. A very helpful employee came to the door of the building and explained to me how to deliver my keys.

Not a ding against this location. It was after hours at this location. I tried to use the app to return the trailer. The app was broken and would not complete the return process. I wound up having to call a rep to complete the return and get my receipt. You should look into fixing the U-Haul app so that it works for the next customer.

We payed $5000 for a truck and trailer. We had to unhook and move a 6ft tandem trailer ourselves at drop off, that's a heavy trailer. Customer service was unprofessional . I was greeted by a person smoking a cigarette. If you need more you can call me. I'm sure my phone number is in your system.

The manager Erica Borill was rude and hostile with us the moment we walked in the door. Her boyfriend Shannon Richard was tweaking and scratching like he was on serious drugs. Returned the Uhaul that evening and today she fraudulently charged my card twice.

The Truck had a very bad cigarette smell in it. The exhaust system needs to be worked on. The check in process to get the truck was a nightmare. The video that the website showed did not give all information to get truck.

I returned the truck on the day and time it was due I had added the fuel I used. No one was there to accept the truck. Left keys in drop off box. The next day I was charged for another day and fuel. Called customer service and after 40 minutes on hold was told my call would be returned in 3 business days! So I'm not really happy right now. This was at the Lake Charles store.

First our reservation was moved 20 mins further out from where we needed it. We were given a few extra miles, but because of construction and blocked highways, we went over our allotment and was charged $20 more. Also because we showed up later than the scheduled time to this new place, our reservation was suspended. It took an hour to reach anyone at Uhaul and no response came from the facility we were retrieving the truck from. It was awful. I will not recommend using the online features. Nowhere did it say we had to adjust our reservation for a time change. The website just looped and offered no help. And the wait time for getting help was ridiculous. Good luck getting someone on the chat to help or answer a phone. The guy who we were finally connected to was super pleasant and helpful. He's the only reason our day improved. I wish I could remember his name.

We were relocating my 96 year old grandmother who has dementia to our home. We called on Monday, 8/22/2022 to reserve a UHaul, they did not have one at this location so they reserved us one in Lafayette LA, a 29 mile drive from here but told us to call each day at 3pm to see if there was an opening closer to us. We did but by Friday there was not anything closer to us so we confirmed that we had a reservation at 700 Kaliste Saloom Rd in Lafayette for 8am on 8/27. I drove the 29 miles at 7am on a Saturday morning and was the first one there at UHaul. I was told that he could see we had reserved a truck but someone failed to put it on their books so I was not given a truck. Frustrated because we had spoken to y'all everyday, I called the customer service line. I held for 12 minutes, then the call rang and was immediately disconnected. I called back and held for 15 minutes, then Nyeisha (sp ?) was on the line and was SO helpful. She rescued the day! She found a 15' truck for me, in my original town of Crowley and from there it was smooth sailing. I never did make up the lost time that day from having to drive 30 miles each way to and from Lafayette. You need to make your reservation process better but kudos to Nyeisha and the Crowley location. They were heros that day.

I personally swept out the truck before returning it and we were charged a 25 fee. Upon reviewing this with agent we were told to contact UHaul.

I had to rent a trailer from the Crowley location because when I got to Baton Rouge to pick up the truck that I had reserved no truck was available so I gave the Crowley location a good review because those people are nice however the people in Baton Rouge were no help at all

We've had two units for almost two years due to hurricane damage at our home. When we first rented our only complaint was very poor lighting. Since the new owners have taken over the lighting has greatly improved. The staff is very friendly and we would recommend this facility for your storage needs.

A/C did not work and blew hot air. I had to drive 2 hours with my elderly mother in a hot ass truck and Uhaul would not reimburse anything because nothing was said before I left. I didn't know it wasn't working properly until 10 miles into the trip and I was on a time schedule and couldn't turn around to go back. This was a disgraceful rental and wouldn't recommend Uhaul to anyone!

I feel that the trailer should have a tongue jack, although the personal at the location did help me hitch up. The equipment was in very good condition and this trailer pulled easily.

Clean, inspect and repair truck before it's sent back out. Truck I rented was dirty on inside. The tow/haul button was inop causing the truck to burn excessive amount of fuel. I used 10 gallons to go 40 miles. Way too much fuel.

I dropped off the truck early and site was closed. Thirty minutes before lease time expiration I received notice on how to return the vehicle. The keys for the truck were already in the drop box. That information should have been provide during the reservation time.

There was nothing wrong with the facilities or the office staff. Erica was very nice and polite and tried to help to the best of her abilities. The problem we had was with the new owner, Jim Barbin. After he bought the business he immediatly raised our rent $55/month. We tried to talk to him about the increase. He would not return our calls and basically said through Erica if we didn't like the increase to move out, so we did. My opinion through all of this is that he was more concerned with the money he would make than customer service.
