Clean up the 40 something pads in the truck so people dont have to work around them. Also provide a dolly and mattress pad if someone requests them. I placed my order online and it stated the original place i wanted to pick the truck up at didnt have the dolly or mattress pad. So i picked a place that did. Well they did not have them. I was screwed from beginning to end from this move thanks to uhaul.

They couldnt find my reservation and couldnt even login to the system. No one was there when I returned the vehicle and therefore I had to drop it off the key in the drop box. Was later contacted about not returning my vehicle even though it was there.

Do not send people to this location. The staff is unprepared and uneducated on how to handle Uhaul returns. I know this because I returned my Uhaul to someone who literally said "oh we do that?" and then 48 hours later I received a notice that I did not return my equipment. I was pissed as hell bc now I had you people up my ass about returning a highly expensive piece of equipment that I HAD returned but wasn't checked in properly due to employee ignorance. I wouldn't have even gone to this stupid location if the employee at the pick up location hadn't told me to. She said my original drop off location was in a sketchy area (it wasn't) and then sent me to an even sketchier place. So she needs to stop doing that because she obviously doesn't know what the hell she's doing. Anyway, after like five calls to management the order was finally finished. Wouldn't have happened without persistent intervention on the consumers part. This whole process sucked ass and I will never be renting from Uhaul again bc y'all are running a shoddy ass operation and should be ashamed of yourselves. I don't want a sweet customer service rep to deal with this review so if you have anything to say to me - I want to hear it straight from corporate.

In order to stay competitive, U-Haul will need to take a look at its pricing strategy. $90 for one day is a bit excessive, especially since I only used it for not even 20 miles total round trip. The pricing signage also is deceptive since mileage isn’t included. Very friendly employees though at Life Storage (where I got the U-Haul).

The location called me twice on the morning of the 10th of December. I returned the vehicle locked and secured over night at the location and returned before the due time of 1pm Eastern and placed the keys and contract in the drop box. I called the location twice to verify and left a voicemail. I received no callback and my card shows a late charge of 137$ I will be disputing and having my card company deny payment on. This is unacceptable service.

The first Uhaul we visit only owned 1 truck and it was taken. There was a sign on the door they would be back at 11am. We waited 15 minutes just to find out the 1 truck they had was taken. The next place we went it was open but nobody there. Had plenty of trucks. Again we sat inside for about 15 minutes. She was helping a client . I recommend at least 2 people at each Uhaul areas so that there is always someone there to help. Got a truck and was very impressed with your employees. Please know that only having 1 person in your Uhaul rentals are at a high risk of something bad gone wrong. Neither employee expressed any anxiety about being alone but I have seen and heard a lot . Thank you for hiring great employees they are the heartbeat of your business.

My issue with the location is that it is not the one I had selected when ordering online. After placing the order online, I received a text with the "assigned" location. By having to go to the "assigned" location, more than twice the mileage was added to the trip, which resulted in a larger amount charged to me. It also resulted in having to add more gas, which again resulted in a larger expense to me. I called customer service to speak to someone about it, but no one answered.

Terrific experience. Truck was warmed up and ready to go. Customer rep even made sure the iced over back door was good to roll up before leaving. Very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location.

Personable assistant manager at the desk. This is a self storage location. The trailer hitch was not tightened down and we had to stop in the parking lot to get this taken care of. It was dark at this facility and difficult to see. Good to have smart phone flash lights! The electrical hookups for the trailer lights were not well maintained. My husband had to borrow a hookup from another trailer. Good thing he was there, the person in charge was not sure what to do.

Over all after having to go to two different locations to get a truck that I Reserve and couldn’t get what I reserved even with the discounts that was given I don’t understand why when I’ve rented in the past and paid cash I had to pay for over miles twice in my opinion u-haul needs a better system or watch who they have as Authorized dealers

The first time I used this location it was excellent. The guy who helped me out was on time and terrific. This time however, the woman who was supposed to open the store was late and totally unprepared to check people in. I literally had to sign myself through the computer system because she couldn't figure it out. When I returned to give the truck back, there was nobody there in the office for about 20 minutes.

A good experience. Drop off wasn't a problem, but I didn't register online beforehand (it was an after-hours drop-off), so that took a little while longer than anticipated. Still, a great solution.

Tow dolly was fully functional and did the job. But, it was damaged in multiple places. The two most notable was the fender which was bent and made contact with the tire and also the tail light that was duct taped in place. The mobile check in/return seemed a great idea until we were roughly 5 miles away when it asked for my location and a photo of the dolly. It would be beneficial to put disclaimers earlier in the check in process to avoid that issue. I started the mobile check in while at the location but had to set up and account etc... which caused a delay and forced a turn around to take a photo. All in all, not a bad experience at all. Just a little room for improvements.

White one employee was going out to look at the truck with my brother, I couldn't find the keys to my car. I was frantically emptying my purse to search through it. The other employee, a female, 100% completely ignored the commotion going on right in front of her. She never even looked up. Not that she could have done anything, but it was plainly rude of her.

We reserved 24 blankets on April 15, 2017 for our 5/31 move, but they only had 6 waiting for us. We tried to pick up the 6 blankets on 5/28, and they could not figure out how to give us only 6 of the 24 blankets, even with the U-Haul Help Desk. They promised to try and get the additional blankets by 5/31, but did not come through. Then on 5/31, since they didn't have the missing blankets, they sent us to another location, but that site wouldn't give us the blankets since we didn't rent the truck from them. We therefore incurred approximately $100 damage on furniture, which we request reimbursement for. We purchased 4 wardrobe boxes on 4/23/17, and were told there would be no problem returning them if we didn't use them for our 5/31 move. However, when we tried to return 3 of them on 6/10, as we didn't use them, we were told they were past the 30 day return policy, and couldn't return them. We are owed a credit of $51.33 for the 3 boxes we didn't use. LifeStorage employees constantly gave excuses that they weren't U-Haul and they were new representatives, so didn't know how to do things. We therefore feel, as customers, that Life Storage employees are incompetent and wasted our time. In summary we do not recommend this location and request a refund of $151.33.
