This was a janky restaurant that was not even open to accept the return. I had to go behind the restaurant to the drop box and return the keys in the drop box. I was greeted by a homeless person asking for money. The alley with the drop box smelled like feces. Very sketchy place and not a good location to access a 26 foot U-HAUL. I parked it the best so could with what room I had. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS EVER. Please, to the company…remove this address as a pick-up/drop-off location.
MADISON BLimited parking, lock box with keys is hard to locate if restaurant is using the door to go in/out. Very smokey because a restaurant also occupies the space. limited parking of rental items. I won't be using this location or U-Haul going forward. Truck had engine light on the entire time, wasn't clean or fresh smelling on inside...bad experience overall.
Bernard SEverything was fine apart from the right side mirror that would not stay in place while driving. It was very dangerous. Could not evaluate that before getting on the road and driving. Other than that, very seamless, very easy.

Yao LI reserved for 9:00 AM at a different location. I got a text sending me here. They open at 9:30. When you're loading and then driving, timing matters. Location is kind of sketchy, too. Read on. Homelessness is a real problem, and I feel for people in that situation. Someone was camping in my 6x12 trailer, (poor guy) as they are left unlocked. It had to be emptied and mopped. That caused additional delay. Employee who took care of me was great!
ROBERT SOpen Monday from 10-12 then goes to a 12-2 lunch break and just locked up and leave? Why open at all?

MICHAEL AThe parking lot had human feces and the whole lot smelt really bad. When I was checking the truck, I found a jacket, an empty bag of chips, and a semi empty bottle of liquid in the back of the truck. The self service part is really slow and tedious. The app is not friendly. This has been the worst Uhual rental experience so far.
Aoxiang TI was incredibly disappointed with my experience using U-Haul. I will never use U-Haul again moving forward. My original pick-up location was over an hour away and not a single employee tried to help me find a better solution. There was no attempt to make our situation better, no compensation for the extra gas used, no compensation for the extra time that I had to use from my already very moving schedule. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had, and I will not be returning. The drop off location was even worse, there was no personnel to talk to and while I was turning in the vehicle a man on drugs came in the parking lot and started looking at the trucks next to me. Overall, a terrible experience working with U-Haul from start to finish.

DARRON GThis was the absolute WORST service experience I have ever received in my entire life. First, I am told to arrive early only to come to an empty business. Waited around for 15 minutes for someone to show up (they never did) and until I could get through to a representative on the phone and get my car. Next, there are no dollys or furniture pads that I ordered in the truck. I wait on hold with a customer service representative who tells me to go to another location to collect the dollys and furniture pads and gives me THE WRONG ADDRESS. Now I am driving on miles I am potentially being charged for. It gets even worst. I get to the next location and they do not have any dollys or furniture pads!!! They ask why I came without calling first. BECAUSE A UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME TO. I call back your customer service line, because now I am in a situation where I CANNOT COMPLETE MY MOVE WITHOUT A DOLLY. Customer service is entirely unhelpful and continuously transfer me around even though I tell them I am on a tight schedule as I am moving that morning!! There is nothing any of your employees can do for me except refund me the $44 of the items I reserved, meanwhile I HAVE TO BUY A DOLLY FROM YOUR STORE FOR $60?!?!?!?! WTF!! After this I am driving home to try to pack up and move in time and someone from the original location calls to tell me he has arrived (nearly 2 hours after the scheduled reservation and has the items). Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!? I have no choice but to continue home as I will miss my movers and wifi instillation If I don't arrive at my move in time which is 3 states over. I had to rush the entire way. I thought it could not get any worse but alas, when I went to return my truck nobody is at the location yet again and the app will not work to allow me to return my truck virtually. MORE WASTED TIME ON HOLD. I have been treated like my time and money mean absolutely nothing. The fact that I informed you that I would have to pay $60 to your store to buy a dolly because of your company's failure and was only met with a $44 refund in return is infuriating. I was late to my wifi instillation because of your incompetency. I honestly feel that I have been stolen from. If this is not solved I will be sure to write a public review detailing this experience and let everyone know how absolutely horrible this has been. Thanks for making my moving experience 10x more stressful than it had to be.
Samantha FThe worker at this location is one of the rudest and most unprofessional employees I've ever seen. I had checked in for my reservation the day I made it, nearly two weeks in advance. The day before my reservation, 15 minutes before he closes (Sunday 2:45pm), he calls me to tell me that my reservation is after-hours. My reservation is at 11 am on a Monday. According to Google, his locations hours are 9-4 on Mondays. When I informed him I made the reservation specifically to be during business hours so I wouldn't have to do a remote pickup he said it wasn't his problem and that I would have to change the reservation. I said I don't understand how it could be my fault that his hours on Google are wrong. I felt lied to. He said I should be thanking him for even calling me to adjust my reservation if I didn't like it I should go to a different location. Mind you, this is 15 mins before he closes the day before my move. This man is callous, rude and disrespectful. His store is dirty, his equipment is not well kept. Our truck clearly had a deflated tire which kept us off balance the whole trip. I hope you fire him.

Vivek TI would not recommend you let anyone with larger trucks drop off here unless the staff is prepared to clear space for them. Parking in the lot was not only extremely difficult but unsafe. There was a man who I think was sleeping in one of the trucks? He came out and stood and stared while we parked the truck with difficulty but said nothing to us other than something in what I think was not English. Additionally, there was no instructions on where to drop the key off. If it weren't for a kind man across the street informing me where it was, I would have had trouble finding it. The next day, I was called regarding the key because they couldn't find it even though I knew I dropped it in the drop location. They found it later but after a long, stressful day of moving without the equipment I reserved, I was extremely frustrated. Please communicate better with your patrons because the only part of the process that was smooth was when I wasn't dealing with a UHAUL representative. Hopefully, I won't have to use Uhaul again.

Vanassa MThe lot is a disaster and the gentlemen over the lot has no sense of customer service or ability to keep the lot together. Cars are parked over the uhual, there's no designated space to leave the usual in. I couldn't imagine dropping off a bigger U-Haul without assistance from the rep or a friend because it's so overly packed and ill maintained. He's dealing with 3 customers at once. It's just bad.

Corwin JWhile my U-Haul attendant is a very nice gentleman and very personable and helpful, I hate that he has to work in such filthy conditions. It seems the building he has to work from is old, cold, and generally in need of repairs and updating. There is no amount of mopping he could do to make that location clean enough to honor him and the patrons that enter. That is the only reason I gave the location a below-average rating.

Antonio NThe van reeked of Smoke , liquor and dog hair. The seats were covered in dog hair. The back of the van was covered in dog hair. I literally had to clean it myself so I wouldn't sneeze to death There is no parking there isn't even ample parking for the vans and trucks that they rent when you call customer service they are amazing people very sweet but the actual people who work at this specific location are disrespectful, rude and Will berate you for not having experience driving these oversize vehicles as if everyone in the world drives oversize vehicles on a daily basis. It's ridiculous the way he berated me for not being able to park. A large van in a small area was absolutely disgusting. I will never recommend or, give one red cent of my money. If this was the last U-Haul on the planet, I would move my things on a bicycle before I gave them another dime of my money.

Ian BApp is awful. Could not figure out how to easily locate truck. When I was awaiting approval I could not figure out what the issue was! Apparently I needed three emergency contacts and the app didn't tell me. I had to call customer service twice to get approval and locate truck. App is confusing and not easy to use and I am a PhD student at Johns Hopkins University.
Andrew MIt's better if you set the prices of fuel basing on the journey than being speculative upon fueling the car upto where we find the fuel bar. Sometimes we put more fuel than we expected.
Andrew SI was not impressed with the 45 minutes it took to check in- I would NOT do a digital check in again. Also, was not a fan that it was not clear we were going to be charged for gas

Dana MMake your app easier to use or give me a refund. I wasted about an hour of my time trying to retrieve my car because your app wasn't loading and you guys didn't even extend my time. No one was there in person so I had to call and wait the time. Poor poor poor experience.

DARION LI would have gave a higher rating my problem is not with the location my problem is with the app the app was extremely glitchy and would not cooperate for pick up or drop off pick up I had to check out with a associate via phone call and drop off I had to check out with an Associate in the store both were very helpful but I feel like the mobile pick up and drop off should be easier to do on the app a tool is only good if it works right if it doesn't is useless it made me feel like I shouldn't have used it in the first place and I should just went to the store and dealt with an Associate of a pickup and drop off
