It's extremely difficult to return a truck without assistance. Trucks are parked too close together, and the only way to get a truck into the space is to back it into the lot. Very very difficult for the average person who is not a certified truck driver.Joshua L.

Location is sketchy area Very bad customer services. The man called us and told us to come inside rather than recommend the contactless 24/7 mobile services. Then when we went inside he then made us do the mobile 24/7 service. The location did not have the dolly we requested but instead gave a very large cumbersome appliance dolly that was not useful. Absolutely horrible. The individual I dealt with was a good guy and very friendly and helpful. However the store is an old grocery store that is empt and has old coolers leaking. Took 15-20 mins until I got into the vehicle. Couldn't even do my pre truck inspection there due to safety concerns of people walking up to you randomly. Also due to the location sharing a lot with another company with them beeping at you to get out of there way. Also instead of looking for a location close to our house they listed one 40 mins away. Talked to customer service about switching drop offs and the customer service member seemed arrogant that I couldn't drop off at a closer location. Also fuel tank had only 1/8th of a tank in a 26 ft box truck???? Why would this ever be ok or allowed?MATHEW L.

There was no rep present at rental, they were in the rear of restaurant. My vehicle tires was low. The rep helped me to get a vehicle w/o a prescheduled reservation. The drop box tube was offset, so my key fell in door not tube. I don't know if you clocked my return time.MONITA H.
The man working at this location forced me to out myself by asking me repeatedly if I was transgender even while I tried to push conversation along, it really made me doubt if I'll use your services again. From a trans person, do better U-Haul. The lesbians care about the queers and You should too considering lesbians are your best customers. No this isn't a joke.Sean R.

- I wish charged for something I wasn't suppose to be charged for and he told me he would fix it but didn't - I tried to get me to sign the contract before checking the mileage and gas level when I said something about it, he stated about me saying I was in a hurry. I never said that. - He lied to the UHAUL CSR that he was outside cleaning a truck when I was calling him on his cell because I had a reservation for a truck but he wasn't I there. I drove pass the truck area and he was not back there. - When I first made a reservation, I couldn't take the truck because none of the equipment was on there. I can go on and on but you get the picture. And yes! I have video proof and WILL BE reporting him.JAHMIA S.

The drop-off procedure was very easy and fast, just take photos of the truck to show conditions, the fuel/odometer, etc. The lot was smaller than the one we picked up at which was nice since it was easier to manage and less overwhelming. The only issue that at night the area the lot is in seems like it could be a bit dangerous. I definitely would not have wanted to be there alone at night (which was when we dropped the truck off). Unfortunately not much can be done about this though. Mostly a caution for future customers.Edward D.

I have acquired uhaul equipment from this location a number of times. While the location is certainly a no frills location, it is what you need. This particular visit was wonderful. Made my reservation a month in advance and was told it was guaranteed. 2 days before my move they cancel my reservation...make my out of town move to Annapolis into an in town move...making me return my truck back to Baltimore...said they would apply by 50$ guarantee to the cost of my bill...they did not..:the App was absolute horrible.:.kicked me out a million times, made me re enter data...the list goes on. I'm still fuming that was is already a stressful day was made horribly more. U suck.Sheila V.

The mgr was great and very personable. The experience was great, but I had some trouble returning the keys at 3:17pm. The doors were locked and I banged on the door, someone saw me and waived me on. Finally after phone call (which rang busy) 4 attempts someone came and opened the door to receive the truck. Im from out of town, so didn't have the 20 min I waited for entry to return truckFred R.
The downtown location was difficult due to traffic. However, the gentleman who received the truck was very helpful once I found him. The office was locked and I thought I'd have to return, but he was out in the parking lot.David B.
They first called me before my truck was due back questioning where I was. Then I went to drop off it was closed (they were to be open for another hour), no worries I completed the online drop off and was going to put the keys on the drop box. I couldn't find it. I contacted uhaul for help on locating the drop box looked around the building nothing. I was told to return the keys in the morning when they open. I returned in the morning they still were not open, but I did find the drop box during the day time. It was a back door area with no lighting, not a very safe place or easy accessible location.ALYSSA K.

I think that there should be at least a duplicate key for a rental at the u haul location. Of course the person should pay a fee for the duplicate,but to go to the process of getting a locksmith is a little too much. The person at Roadside service was a sweetheart and very helpful. It took me over an hour to get with a representative from Uhaul to move forward with the online process. The people at the location were friendly however there was a major disconnect between the distributor and the U-Haul company. I will not be using that location again.Alana G.

Went by on Friday to buy boxes, there was someone in the back who refused to come out and assist me. I waited for about 10 minutes and just left. The next day, when I picked up the truck, the door gate was again locked and 5-6 people were standing outside trying to get inside to pick up their trucks. This was around 9:30 am. Nobody came out. Luckily I used the app and was eventually approved and able to leave. When I left, the people waiting were still waiting outside. This is absurd. Also, I wasn't informed that I wouldn't have a furniture dolly until I picked up the truck. That made moving significantly harder, so thanks for that. Would rate 1 star but the truck was clean and full of gas so there's that.Troy K.

My equipment was not in the rental van. I ran into a Uhaul employee in the lot, Donny Maxwell, who was very sympathetic and helpful. He tried to comp me the equipment cost to make good but I believe this resulted in me being double charged. No fault of his, the rental UI is cumbersome and I'm sure the system charged in error. I had to drive 10 miles round trip to pick up the equipment from another location, and I was charged for the miles. Very poor experience this time.Elijah P.
