My reservation said I need a pre inspection. I went to the college ave location in Fort Collins to do that. He came out and looked at my truck from a distance and said that it would work. When I arrived at this location I found out I did not have the right connector for the lights and my light connector was not even working. The fantastic employee went above and beyond to get me up and running. While he was working on solving the problem he plugged in a tester to test my connector. That should had been done when I went in for the pre inspection. Again, I was super happy with my service at the Lincoln location. I wish the big location on College Ave represented U-Haul as well as this small site does.Brandon A.

The only issue I had was that they did not notify me that I had to call them to set up a different pickup place for the car dolly. Once I figured this out and was transferred a couple of times, the gentleman took good care of me by giving me a car trailer for the price of a car as they didn't have a dolly available.Karen H.
Both the pick-up and drop off facilities were fine, just average uhaul joints. The issue I have is your central reservation center. I made a reservation over a week out and was told the called 48 hours out that the location I reserved from wasn't open the day of my reservation and also didn't have the equipment that I reserved. So I was given the option of picking up a day early or two days later at a different location in a different town. Neither option worked with other reservations made but, I chose the day early at different location. I was offered an additional day for travel, which was nice but just received a bill for the extra miles needed to travel from the location further from my original reservation request. Pick up and drop off locations we're fine. Truck pulled to the left a little the whole drive (Colorado to Virginia). For long drives like that, cruise control would have been a useful feature. After driving for so many hours, you don't realize how fast you're driving until you look down. This could save people from unnecessary accidents. Also, it's my fault because I didn't check but the paperwork said it started with a half tank of gas but there was only 1/4 when I drove off the lot. I just assumed the gas level was correct and didn't check for myself.Richard C.

My reservation time to pick up was inputted incorrectly si I couldn't get my truck. The location was closed, only open Saturday/Monday/Tuesday, so I couldn't get any help. Called the u-haul number, was on hold for 15 minute. Had to be transferred to another person to fix problem. From trying to figure out check in and how long I was on hold, it took me an hour. I was paying people to help on my move waiting at my house. Very frustrating.Doug D.
The truck was slightly damaged, as the rear door was extremely difficult to open. The site was sort of run down. I also had to wait at least 10-15 minutes for the customer before me to be processed with his truck rental.DANIEL B.

Picking up the tow dolly was a great experience. This was my first time renting a tow dolly, and Uhaul employee took the time to carefully walk through the entire trailer and assisted with connection to my hitch and also connecting my tow vehicle. He answered all my questions in excellent detail, and I left the lot with full confidence in the dolly and tow vehicle. I scheduled to pick up my Uhaul at 0800 on May 1st, when I arrived to pick up my Uhaul at 0800 the Uhaul employee was very rude to me and told me I needed to wait for the van to be cleaned. I also was moving from Fort Collins to Greeley. I had to pick up the truck in Loveland, which was fine. After booking I received a notification that I was required to return it to the Loveland location as opposed to the Greeley location I had originally booked drop off at. I should not have to pay extra mileage/gas when when it was my intention to drop it off in Greeley. I also should not have to drive the extra hour out of my way to return the van. When a time is scheduled to pick up a van to use to move, I shouldn't have to wait and experience poor customer service on a day that's already stressful. I am very displeased with this experience. I also booked movers through Uhaul's site. Honey Do Movers based out of Windsor, Colorado. My reservation for the van was from May 1st 0800- May 2nd 0800 however my movers were scheduled May 2nd at 0900. I had no movers to help me! Granted this may not be Uhaul's fault but it still made my whole move absolutely horrible and way more stressful than it needed to be. I will not consider using Uhaul in the future or recommending it to friends/family.Serbeara S.

I think you have too many verifications online while reserving a truck. I kept having to go get a code and click verify and then when we went to pickup the truck I again needed to enter a code because it didnt recognize my device (the same phone I used to make the reservation). The pick up process was difficult and took far too long. When I arrived, I was told that I needed to give the name and number of two references. That is fine. But I did not know that the referenced would be called before the truck was released. People generally are not waiting by their phones for a call and many don't answer unfamiliar numbers. I didn't know that I would need people on standby waiting for a call from you.Billy H.
