I made my advance reservation at uhaul.com for a 8' pickup truck. Dads told me they don't carry pickup trucks. They tried to help by sending me to another location at Southern Star on Lasalle Road in Montrose. Brian there told me only had one pickup truck reserved for someone else. I had to rebook for a 10' box truck. Dads was not at fault. It was the uhaul reservation system.

Stephanie H.The two front tires had significant inside wear to the point it had no tread on 20 % of the tire. When i pointed that o7t i was told they had no tires nor did anyone in town. I could change to a larger truck...but it would cost 1k more. I drove the truck from Montrose co to OKC Oklahoma and the tires held....but were down to the belts showing through. The truck had a significant shimmy. I would like to see the Uhaul dealers do a better job in inspection and maintenance.

jane M.Location was convenient. We dropped it off after hours so understandably no one was there to help us. We followed the procedure on the web site for checking in our truck and it all seemed to go well.
Paul C.When I placed the rental order I requested a furniture dolly and furniture cart, they were not on the rental truck when I did a late pick up. I tried to call Dad's Automotive 3 times the following day, left voice messages that were never returned. I was billed for those two items and when I disputed the charge by email I was never contacted by your national representatives. I will have a very difficult time convincing myself in the future that U-Haul deserves my business. I will also communicate my experience to those that are considering renting from your company!!

Bill P.My experience with this location was extremely unpleasant. I had to extend my rental multiple times because I was waiting on contractors to finish my home. This location receives the same amount of money if I rent the truck or if Joe Blow rents it. A person named Levi from this location called me and told me to return the truck or he would call the police. I had been in contact with them and they had extended the contract with me. I explained my situation about my contractor and Levi told me to get my “priorities†straight. My priorities…really? I told him the painter was at my house and hopefully I could empty the truck into the room the painter was finishing. Levi told me to have the painter stop painting and start emptying HIS truck. Had I known the contractors would not be finishing my house in the time I was told, I would have went a different route. I would have rented a storage or got a portable storage from a different U-Haul location. My comment about the truck not being clean and maintained is only about the cleanliness of the truck. It was not clean inside. As for maintenance I do not know. I drove the truck 15 miles to my house and parked it and it ran just fine.

Robert G.When I checked the level of gas in the truck I towed the gal at the front desk that she had it incorrect and there was less gas in the truck then what was marked her reply was once it's entered we can't correct it.

Dana R.We set our pick up and had to move it a week due to a emergency visit for a badly cut hand. When we drive over a hour to pick up the unit..... the reservation was moved up 2 hours.... we sat for2 hours with the guys we hired to move. Ordered 4 bundles of moving blankets and got 1..... but still charged for 4. We accomplished our goal however it was not without drama.
Mike S.They issued an additional $130 charge to my credit card for days that I did not use the equipment. This was without any notice or signature from me. Proceeded to disagree about the charge. Finally issued a refund which has yet to go through on my credit card. Lady who I spoke to was rude and condescending to me when I was rightfully frustrated to receive unauthorized charges. I will never rent from this location and will always refer others to go elsewhere after being treated so poorly.

MARK M.Rented a furniture mover ($7) that was unavailable and unknown until check in. ordering one does not imply availability. There were only 2 people trying to move their furniture (some very heavy) and the missing furniture mover would have been extremely helpful. Must be a first come, first serve basis even with a credit card to hold it. Everything else was ok. So word to the wise, don't expect anything to be available if they can give it to the person ahead of you or they didn't have one to begin with. I'm going to buy one ($50) since we have several more local moves from our homes to a rental and from rental to home being builit..

Scott P.Closed Saturdays. Even after I complained that you all had unilaterally changed my drop off to a location closed Saturday and then asked you to change it you didn't. Then, your phone app (which tries to ask permission for my Contacts -- go to hell Uhaul) wouldn't run. I spent 90 minutes sitting in the parking lot, wading through 3 Uhaul phone operators, just trying to return the equipment. You suck.
