I will never rent from Daisy Mart Esso Kincardine ever again. No one contacted me to confirm my rental even though I reserved a week in advance. When I go there day of, the equipment wasn't there and instead of apologizing, he went immediately to defense saying it wasn't verified to me, and gave me the uhaul 1800 number and told me to call them to figure it out myself. Very disappointed with this service.

They didn't have a dedicated counter so we stood in front of a display of bongs and other smoking paraphernalia. When we went to hook up a trailer, they just said, "There it is, are you OK?" If i wasn't experienced with towing and with your trailers in particular. I would have been sunk. No explanation, no walk around, nothing.

There is a pandemic COVID-19 going on. The two men at this store were not wearing masks. There is Plexiglass up at the counter but he kept having me go to the other end of the counter to finish the transaction where there is no Plexiglass. The truck had french fries on the floor when I was asked to move it to the front of the store. It had been dropped off after hours the night before and not cleaned yet when I picked it up 30 minutes latter than my scheduled pick up time. So I know it was not disinfected between customers. I did all my checkout on line to save time at the pick up and reduce contact with people. It took over 30 minutes to check out the truck while having to be in the store with customers coming and going and some not wearing masks. The one man was very friendly and did his best. The other man not so friendly.

Very angry did not get the deal I was promised. Only 22 to 25 bucks but maybe more..not the point... four phone calls! And I still got screwed over. I'm at 416 605 1837

Location was the wrong location for my pick up. It cost me 3 hrs of my time. Irrespective of that, the place was dirty and the owner who serviced me was awful. He tried to scam me out of the dozen blankets I preordered and I had to force the issue in order to get them.

There was dead bugs in the truck, also had a horrible time trying to pick up with the mobile app. We had to change locations to pick up because we could not get it verified with the agent. First it was because the drivers license picture did not look the same as the picture I took, we had to send about 5 seperate pictures. I told her it was a 5 year difference from the photos, she said that was not the problem. She had problem with verifying the alternate contact, I told her twice that the ones we put down would not answer and I have to give her two new ones. She did not take the new ones and cancelled the chat and said we need to go to a different location to get it verified in person. It took us 2 hours to get the uhaul when it was already a busy moving day for us. All while this happened we were on the phone with a representative from uhaul who was helping us, and even she said the agent was being rude and making things frustrating for us.

The truck battery was dead. Needed to be boosted. The guy working there didn't know how to open the hood or how to hook up the jumper cables. They only had 6 blankets not the 24 I had ordered. Truck drove horribly. Very disappointing experience

The blankets I rented came out of a plastic bag and were wet dirty and had and smelt like mold. Didn't want to use them because they were that wet and filthy. Shouldn't have even been given to customers. Also there were blankets already laying all over the floor in the back of the truck and a dolly.

I made me reservation online the day before and when I arrived the vehicle I rented was buried in snow. I had to ask the person running the rental pick-up location/gas bar to clear it off for me. It wouldn't have been done had I not asked. In my opinion my rental should have been cleared of snow and ready for me. Then, since the vehicle wasn't equipped with snow tires, it took us 15 minutes to get it out of the parking spot and again had to ask for help. It was basically a half hour after I arrived that I was on the road. Overall the truck was suitable for what I needed it for but I think that this particular location needs to be more attentive to their fleet, especially in the winter months.

Was told I would have to pay double the rental and insurance fee to have someone else drive it, asked for our license, insurance and registration for OUR car, and insisted we couldn't drop off the vehicle at the Stratford location and we'd have to take it to Kitchener.

They need to look after uhal customers. Make sure paperwork is filled out and walk vehicle with custoner. They need to check inside vehicle cab to insure it is clean

The dealer charged for 5 days instead of 4 days. The trailer was not available for pickup at the given time. The dealer charged insurance when we declined. The dealer never came out and did a walk around of the trailer and give instructions on how to hook it up or the check proper operation.

Find a new dealer Totally unexceptable dealing with people Location was philthy - they had a huge display of bongs and drug paraphernalia for sale right at the front counter The person responsible for the U-Haul check-in isn't even at the location and the man running the store can't use a computer They never came out to inspect equipment or make sure we had the right one?!

The owner was not very nice or helpful. He said his computer had not been working that morning, I was to pick up my truck at 9, I wait over 15 mins before he decided to do a manual (paper) rental contract. He said he already did another manual rental contract for another customer that morning. Why I had to wait so long before he decided to do it, i have no idea. He proceeded to slowly enter the information, he obviously didn't know how to fill out the contract. He very poorly explained any of the contract information, gave me the keys and didn't even bother to show me where the truck was. As I was about to pull away, he came outside and said his computer was now working and I could pay for the rental. I wanted to pay visa and after multiple attempt to process the card (his visa machine was not working either) he demanded that I pay cash or I couldn't take the truck. Ofcourse i didn't have the cash on me and was forced to use the back machine in his gas station, occurring a service fee on that as well. He charged an extra $100 since I was forced to pay in cash, he said I would get it back when I returned the truck to the next location. I did not get the money back at the next location and was told it would be mailed to me in 3 weeks! It took over 45 minutes to get the moving truck. I will never return to that location ever and I will tell everyone I know to avoid going to that business for anything, rental truck or otherwise.

The only problem that we had was not related to the personnel or to any pickup or dropoff point but for the UHaul service in general. We had booked the truck for pickup at 10:30am but we received an email the day before and our pickup was re-scheduled to 12pm. These things should not happen because we had already made our plans which had to be delayed by 1.5hours and we also ended up delaying a lot that night because of this re-schedule.

This is the only drop off location in Kincardine. It is ok since business is low. The other location on King Street Travertine (Kincardine) is really filthy, but has a garage. Place was not open on Saturday.

I reserved a trailer days before and when we got there, it wasn't there. Nobody knew about the reservation and when head office was called they said they had no idea how I was able to reserve it and that I shouldn't have been able to do so. If it wasn't for the excellent service from the gentleman at the location I would never give you our business again. He was so helpful and caring so Ill be back to his location for sure. But I'll never use your loess than adequate web site ever again.

This location and service was great! Just the system supposedly needed to be restarted and was somewhat slow.

This U-Haul was located in a gas station. the Gas station was seriously overcrowded with merchandise and I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. Also the truck was really shaky and its alignment was off. I did not feel comfortable in the truck going 100km/hr and it seems that the seals around the door and cabin have worn out the noise coming inside the cabin was a bit much.

The Personnel at this location was extremely unprofessional. He went on swearing to me when I asked about a $15 charge that he put. The contract clearly said delivery by a certain date and time and the coverage was already paid. He even told me to leave his property meanwhile, continuously swearing. I wanted to report the matter to police but just did not have that kind of time. Will take this up with Uhaul,
