Very good experience overall. The gentleman checking everyone in was helpful and friendly. Compared to renting a car, the check in seems to take much longer. Only slight complaint. Had to wait 40-45 minutes after appointment time with 1-2 people in line ahead of me.
KUMAR A.Maintain proper tire inflation because riding on improperly inflated tires effect overall fuel economy. Also if the location is scheduled to be open someone should be present.

Alan P.I selected mobile check in. There was no key to get the truck & the truck was parked between other trucks & could not get it out. The agent arrived late although it reads the store opened at 8am. This impacted the movers I hired to move. There should be compensation from uhaul due to this. Also, the site was unkept & dirty. There was no agent to return the truck nor clear instructions for returning when the agent is not there. I called uhaul for assistance but I waited for 30 mins so I dropped. I contacted uhaul via chat & that I also experienced a long wait there, then the agent dropped my chat. I will never go to this site or recommend anyone to uhaul.

Cecil S.Finding the truck was very easy, however the blankets we ordered were not in the truck. Online, it said that the location closed at 5pm. We got there at 4:30, and the office was locked and no one was around to help us. I called the number for the location, and luckily someone answered and was very helpful in instructing us on how to locate blankets elsewhere. He was even kind enough to give us double the amount of blankets with no up charge because of the inconvenience. When my husband went to return the truck though, the U-Haul app was being ridiculous. It wouldn't let him take and upload photos of the speedometer. This 5 min drop off process took closer to 30, which was really annoying. My rating is more for the app than the location. We have used this location before and would use it again.

Philmont B.The Location was fine. What i did not like is i traveled to Mesquite Texas and i put that in my online order - but i had to drive 30 mins to this location. There was a location in in Mesquite. I tried to deliver there and they told me i would have to pay a 200 fee! that is ridiculous. There should be flexibility to deliver and the options should be better online to help serve your customer better. the man at the dallas location was very helpful - don't let this reflect on him. This is your system and online issues.

Shannon B.When I received the U-haul it had a flat tire and the tread was missing from the front passenger tire. Road side did come help quickly but I should have never received the uhaul in that condition. Not only did I put insurance on the uhaul but the truck was stolen with all my cargo inside (I'm a graduate college student who traveled from Dallas to California) I was never offered insurance for the cargo just safe move. I asked if I could insure the truck with my own insurance but I couldn't. When I filed the claim through uhaul's company Rep. they explained the coverage only covered for collision or fire. This was the worst experience I've ever went though renting a truck. This was also my first time renting. I am truly disappointed in my experience. It's sad there is no way for me to be compensated for the loss of my cargo. This was heartbreaking for me.
ASHLEE L.My truck was fine, but I ordered dollies blankets. They were not in the truck. I called and had to drive to a different location to pick up a dolly. They were nice enough to let me rent two dollies. I was frustrating to have to add miles to drive and pick up supplies that should have been in the truck already.

Ross T.Nobody was on staff when we dropped off our trailer. We were told we could drop it off at that location any time (24 hours). We dropped off at 6:40 pm. The lot is very dark. There should be better lighting for safety. Otherwise it was a simple drop off using the app.

Kaneitha A.We had a terrible experience over the span of two days with Uhaul. Not as big of an issue with the location (other than not being there during google store hours), but with the local call center and the 24/7 pick up. Lots of unnecessary confusion with receiving two calls changing my reservation two different times the day before only to end up back with my original reservation. The day of pickup was more frustrating with using the 24/7 app and the “no network connection†delaying our move start time by well over two hours. Overall I would not do 24/7 again - something that sounds easy and convenient but is the exact opposite.

Found a spot, and started backing in and a contractor from a construction project next door parked in front of my truck. Luckily, I was still able to park the trailer and get out.

GARY S.When I dropped off the truck and car dolly he basically check it in did not go over the mileage to gas or anything of that nature that I'm used to the representative going over with me. I dropped it off two days early and he claimed I was not getting a refund but yet gave me no paperwork to prove otherwise there should have been a refund I'm very very disappointed and he rented out my truck to 2 FedEx guys. I want a refund on what you owed to me And then I will change my rating
Christian W.So unprofessional. After checking in via the mobile app, it asked me to go inside, skip the line, grab the key, and go. I went in and even waiting a few minutes before saying that I was there to grab the key. The manager was unbelievably rude, telling me I need to get in line and then gave me a lecture about my body language. Completely inappropriate, especially when he just ended up giving me the key anyways. Much ado about nothing for a managerial power tantrum.
