Not so much the location, as the person who helped me was very nice. The inability to access the site for after hours returns was horrible, constantly refreshing, telling me ay information didn't match. I literally spent 30 min trying to return with the sight, and just gave up.RONALDRICARDO B.

I was incorrectly charged $69 for fuel charges. I clearly noted in my drop-off verification process that I was unable to take a picture of the fuel level because I had already dropped the key in the drop box and could not turn on the truck again. I also noted that I had topped off the tank to 3/4 as it had been when I picked it up. (I have credit card charges to note the $40,99 at the gas station I used to support that). Furthermore I checked the box to speak with someone about the charges and the app noted I would be contacted. So I am not sure why I was not contacted before my card was processed and the bill was sent 2 days later. When I called the dealer to discuss my concerns, they dismissed me with very little attention to the facts I related, saying that she had seen the gauge with her own eyes. What's not clear is when she saw it since the truck was rented out after I returned it. There was no confirmation call with me so I am not sure it was my gauge that she saw. I have filed this complaint and am awaiting a return call...which I am not sure will happen since my other request for a call didn't happen either.Maziar M.
What bothered me a bit was the 91 dollar charge turned into a 100 dollar charge because I used cash . Someone later told me that was for a deposit and I could get the difference back later . Who is going to drive back 7 miles for 8 bucks ?THOMASE M.

The dropoff process in Front Royal was a disaster. There was no place to park the truck, so it was necessary to block several trucks to leave our rental. No one was there to help us. The uhaul.com/share app was difficult to get into but we finally did.BJ L.

We scheduled our truck rental online 3 weeks in advance at a pick up location near our home. The day before we were due to pick it up we were notified that not only did they not have the 20' truck we requested, we would have to pick up a 26' truck at a location almost one hour south of our home. In addition the car trailer we ordered was yet another hour south of that. So, not only did we waste over 4 hours picking up equipment, it also cost us additional money in gas to and from the pick up location, AND the additional expense of gas driving a bigger truck that we didn't need or ask for, 1000 miles to our final destination. At $4,19/gallon that really added up! We don't understand how with 3 weeks advance notice Uhaul couldn't make arrangements to get a truck and trailer to our requested pick up location, and why the burden and cost of picking up at an alternate location was put on us. Additionally, there was no one at the Front Royal location to assist with pick up so everything had to be done on the app which took much too long. Bad business practices all around!Curtis D.

The directions for pickup and drop off were completely unclear and there was nobody to help me with either. The ride was okay and the truck was definitely a truck but other than that I would look for other options with my move.Wyatt J.

Truck was fine. The trailer had a tire with a slow leak that required me to fill 3 times on my trip to Florida. Also the latch for the straps to secure the front tires were rusty and very difficult to use. One of the straps would not stay locked in and should be replaced.ARTHURROBERT M.

Was told trailer lights all checked ok, but found out at night only the top lights worked - not the bottom brake, turn signal and parking lights. Also, checked tire pressure before I hooked up the trailer and found both tires were 10 psi low. Had to ask them to put air in the tires.Tim S.

I made a reservation online, but regrettably the after-hours pickup was not ready despite the location having been open for business earlier in the day and receiving U-Haul's automated email assurances at the time of booking. Thankfully, a kind body shop employee was there (at 5:30pm) and helped us out by making calls to the folks running the U-Haul side of the business. Unfortunately a process that should have taken 15 minutes ended up taking 45 minutes. The truck we received had TPS sensor error and had garbage in the cab that we had to clean up. Lastly, we got charged for 2 gallons of fuel despite following the directions of filling up the tank to the same level as what we started. Overall my worst U-Haul experience ever and I unfortunately can't recommend this location. I hope this location can work to ensure all rentals are clean and available to the time U-Hauls website allows one to book.Emily K.

If you don't have a dolly, do not replace with furniture pads. I would have preferred the items I paid for. Also may be helpful to ensure a free wireless option at the location to avoid signal issues or not allow 24/7 pick up options. Reception in that area is notoriously low. This was by far the dirtiest truck from inside the cab to the back of the cube. The location interior was also a mess and very dirty. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy.TIMOTHYGEORGE Q.
I was charged a cleaning fee when I reported someone before me used it and bled in it (which I didn't see initially), and there was a metal piece missing from the floor that was just duct taped down and when I was loading it I fell into the hole. I've reported and reported this and no one at uhaul will address this with me or correct the cleaning charge I was billed. If you want to rent a truck and have zero issues, this works. If you need a human, a concerned one at that, you will be at a loss going with uhaul. IMO been a loyal customer until todayVALORA E.

While the location was friendly and helpful, I am very displeased with the reservation system. Reservation was made at closest location for equipment that was promised, but was not available. Was sent to another store 40 miles away. It was very inconvenient. The guy at the original store in New Market is not helpful. Don't go to store at 146 W Old Cross Road.
