We simply dropped off the truck after online check out so we can't comment on anything except that the site was open and safe.

Truck’ s passenger door would not shut completely. Ash tray was full of ashes which made the truck stink. Can of truck was very dirty, unlike my previous two rentals.

I have a home staging company that rents Penzke trucks on a regular basis. I thought I would try something different. First, my call to the Asheville Swannoanoa location was automatically transferred to another Asheville facility and I was never told to pick the truck up somewhere else. I pay movers $40/hr ($20/ea) to run all over town to find the truck. Then when they got to the second location, the man was extremely rude!! I had given my credit card over the phone and gave my mover's name to the representative and I was assured that would be no problem. The second guy said he did not have that in his notes and made my mover pay for the truck. Then I find out that the truck I rented at 10:15 would have to be back by 5:30 or I would have to pay $20 to return it after hours or the next day. When I called the first store to complain, she wrote up my concerns and said someone would get back with me.....2 days later and no one has. I am extremely unsatisfied with your company and I'm quite honestly wondering how you stay in business. Cindi Stringer 828-421-2599

The location was closed, and the log in for the online return process was difficult do to network issues. The hours at the location were odd and inconvenient. This was the only return location given, but we passed another on your way.

This is a poor location for Uhaul pickup. Unprofessional and inefficient. Inconsistent with usual high quality service.

UHaul changed me to this location which was farther away, there were some questionable people hanging out in the parking lot - car with all windows broke out, woman that looked like a prostitute. The only guy inside said he couldn't check me in until much later and was grouchy. I was concerned about the blankets and dolly's being in the back unlocked so called UHaul. This place was horrible.

The truck seemed clean, but electronics all gave out after 80 miles!! No odometer or speed or gas gauge!! Loose wire? Very traumatic. Lights still worked, so we plugged on without gauges for the rest of the trip.

It’s a bus station with one person working, two buses departing, and me trying to pick up a truck. The truck overall was not in good shape but at 52 mph the transmission roared loudly. The air conditioner did not cool the cabin if the sun was shining on the truck and the engine cover in the cab got so hot you could barely put your hand on it. This is the second U-Haul truck I have rented in the past year and it may be my last. If I need a truck in the future, I’ll go to Budget or Penske. Reserving a unit on the U-haul website is a joke. I don’t know why you ask where an individual would like to pick up a unit. The last two rentals I’ve had to travel more than 10 miles from my starting location to get what I need.

There was poor signage and no personnel visible. Yet, 10 minutes after completing the online drop-off an employee came out, picked up the key from the drop box, and moved the truck. Clearly, they were watching me but made no attempt at personal contact.

My location was last minute changed from another location. My pick up time was also changed from 10 am to 12pm which majorly disrupted my day and inconvenienced my moving plans. Also, I was given a larger truck which was unnecessary and inconvenient. It used more gas which I find unacceptable. I am very unhappy and would like a refund.

I the mobile check out feature was not working at this location. The program kept kicking me out. After about 7 times, I called the 800 number and they told me to just drop the keys
