The Modesto drop off location was good! The Folsom one was not. The gas tank was almost empty, there was a garage door opener left, and there was a liquid spill on the inside of the drivers side door. It doesn't even look like they swept out the back.

We dropped of truck. There was no check in or receipt given. We were told to Just hand over the keys and the truck would be checked in later. There were 2 employees, and no customers. It felt uneasy leaving with no record that we had even dropped it off, or agreed on mileage etc. I asked for check in, verification of drop off, or a receipt, though I received none of those.

Fix your computer system!!! Did not like having to go to a second location to get a truck and being delayed by over 4 hours because the computer system was down and would not reboot

Windshield had bug guys all over it. No one walked the truck with me before I took it. Large crack in the windshield on drivers side.Felt like I was driving something from WWII

The 24/7 pickup was a miserable experience. I didn't know that if I showed up late that I'd be locked out of the check-in process. Spent over an hour to get help to finally get access to the truck. Did not know I'd have to further verify my identity beyond my drivers license either. Poorly documented and supported process. I also ordered a dolly and furniture pads and those were not provided. Perhaps this location is great during regular business hours when humans can help, but I would not recommend for 24/7 pickup.

store is closed so have to call customer care for lock code pickup I spent around 40 mins extra to get the lock u haul was having full of cigar smell.

Check all returned equipment for defective parts before releasing them to the next customer.

Used rental for a few hours. Returned very early. I have not received the billing, only survey. Called site, have to contact uhaul for the billing at the 800 number. It was forecasted higher than actual usage, must have receipt for expenses and have no idea of what is being charged. Not a fan of the process, or the ability to ensure no inaccuracies have occured. Also the time needed to follow up with a corpoate office.

I got lucky and received an almost brand new truck. Was much smoother and quieter than the usual local rentals are, and very nice to have BT radio connection for making/receiving calls on the road.

This was my third attempt at renting a 5 x 8 enclosed trailer to move to Utah. Every time I rented a 5 x 8 trailer I was sent at least an hour away from my move location to pick it up. I kept canceling my reservations due to the pick up trailer locations. Ridiculous. It was the worst experience with UHaul that I have had in decades as I have used UHaul for years.

Don't call it a reservation!!!!!! You don't hold the equipment, so it's not a reservation. There is nothing more frustrating than to get a call the night before a move to find out there is no equipment!!!!

Adam stayed unpeeled returned the van so we could pay on another card. SERVICE, WoW, no one goes out of their way anymore, but Adam did!!! Very impressed!

The location and the service was ok no problem at all. The problem AND IT WAS A HUGE ONE WAS THE THE TRUCK; the vehicle. It was shaking violently time after time. There was DEFINITELY something wrong with the truck. I rented U-HAUL countless times more than 20 in the past, but nothing like this one. When it shifts a certain gear it triggers the the horrible shaking. I was very scared that I won't make it or something worse. I think the brakes also have problems. It was a horrible and potentially dangerous experience I had with that trip.

Truck had an old battery that died, dirty windows, old wiper blades, and the cargo door leaked rain water onto contents. The truck was 20 miles from wear I reserved it and the mileage allotment was calculated wrong and I had to pay for extra miles. Typical poor U-Haul quality and service.

The guy in the front desk was polite and helpful but when it came time to pay 2 of my cards decline .. I came in ready to pay cash and also I mention him that and I had my business card available with plenty of money in account but I didn't wanna use it but I will if necessary.. I went deposit cash in my personal account when I came back they cancel my reservation.. now I call U-Haul and they were really helpful and they call the store (Danny's) now U-Haul tells me the only way we can release the truck is if the guy in the front desk feels comfortable with you !!? Now I'm upset because he never shows any uncomfortable signs when I'm in there , he's very happy and polite answering my questions .. I own my business and been successful because I know how to treat people and customer service .. I told this guy do not ever judge anyone because he never knows people situation I was depending on this truck and if I didn't move that day I was gonna be $2000 short on one more month of rent .. don't mix business with personal feelings.. comfortable?? I never say did anything to make him feel that way .. I can understand trust because i don't trust anyone neither but business is business.. I literally had to argue wit this guy to make it realize he was gonna fuck me over if he didn't release the truck that day .. that's why my review is 1 star and will never recommend this store
