I rented an 8x12 trailer that I pulled using a Chevy 2500HD. The trailer towed nicely, but we could not hook up the trailer without me providing a couple clevises to attach to the safety chain hooks, as the span on the hooks were entirely too narrow to accommodate anything that has a decent towing package. Also, I wasn't terribly impressed with the surge breaks. They kept kicking in when backing up on an inclined drive. This location does business supporting long-haul trucks, and they are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Michael KerscherGot charged $92 for gas when I shouldn't have. Returned with as much gas as I had when received and still got charged.
Hillary BurgerThey recorded the fuel at full ,even though was just under half , this led to me being way ivercharddd. I reached out to Uhaul to request a refund (I had pictures of the fuel gage before & when I returned it that proved it was the same .) Got no help from Uhaul

PAUL FOWLERThe location was changed at the last minute without me being informed, resulting in my being an hour behind from the start. Then UHaul representatives had to reset my order because I was late picking it up. While using the TruckShare 24/7 feature, the website timed out on me and it took representatives 2 hours to realize I hadn't yet picked up my UHaul and to reset the order to give me the keypad access code to retrieve the keys. Then I was charged $8 upon returning the vehicle for extra mileage, when I likely wouldn't have exceeded the mileage limit had I been able to pick up the truck from my preferred location. Additionally, the gas tank gauge indicated I had replaced more gasoline than required but I was still charged extra for mileage- after everything I went through with your company I will not be a returning customer in the future. My partner and I are will be moving to New York City this summer for residency, and we will be using a different company. Worst experience I've had in some time. And there was no way in which UHaul could be held to account. Calls with customer service were dropped, and wait times were excessive. This is the first forum in which I have been able to articulate my frustrations.
JESSIE COWANWas supposed to be a counter pickup, upon arrival I was told by the staff that all pickups are self-service, I then proceeded to receive errors on the website attempting to check in because the reservation was made as a counter pickup. The local staff provided no support at all, I contacted u-haul via the 800 number and the service rep immediately changed my reservation to self-service and sent me a verification link resolving the issue. I would not recommend this location.

BLAKE OFARROWDropped truck off as requested by Uhaul. This location did not check the truck in upon drop off leading to numerous calls to me from Uhual inquiring about where the truck is located. Took 2 weeks to verify the truck was at this location causing me several headaches and issues with other needed rentals.

Planned provider Rushville Wholesale Liquidators in Rushville, IN failed to respond to my request for availability of equipment and calls for assistance on the day they were a no-show when I arrived for pick-up. I would recommend U-Haul reconsider the use of Rushville Wholesale Liquidators in future.
Dennis ElzyRefused to return my cash deposit like uhaul told him to do. I'm on disability and money is so tight it caused me to lose my truck insurance because I didn't have the money in my account. Returning my uhaul to Davis towing cost me $78 in overdraft fees and $267 to right a new insurance policy. I will never do business with Davis towing again. Just so you know uhaul determined I was entitled to my full down payment. I didn't go over on miles, left it with the same amount of gas and in good condition. The owner of Davis Towing just didn't want to do what he signed up for

I called Davis Towing & Tire and the accepted the trailer back and allowed me to upgrade to next larger size. The helped me measure the opening before taking. They didn't complain about Having to cancel the first and redo the paperwork for the née one. Excellent customer service.
Gary WilsonThis was the 2nd location I was sent to by U-Haul to pick up the trailer I had reserved days prior. The trailer did not show up to the first location, but the manager there was very helpful in getting in contact with U-Haul and finding this 2nd location. Upon arriving at the 2nd location, I was told by the desk associate that they did not have the trailer. I then had to call U-Haul, again, and the trailer was then found. It was there the whole time. Seemed rather unorganized.
Zachary CheesmanSomeone canceled my reservation because i was 45 min late. No call no nothing and i was stuck in interstate traffic thinking nothing about it. I arrived to my changed reservation and take one and half hours with my 7 year old in a parking lot at 11:30pm

STEPHEN WILSONCustomer rep very nice but had little knowledge of the Uhaul product. Assured me all lights were working. 3:30 AM next morning left for Denver. Pulled over, on a feeling, and found I had NO TAIL LIGHTS ON THE TRAILER. Parked in Walmart and then Ford dealer parking lot to trouble shoot problem. Should NEVER have been allowed to leave with that trailer and I'm sure it was marked as all lights functioning…

Timothy HollandI normally do not have problems renting from Davis Towijg. However, if you are going to hook up the trailer to a customer's vehicle, please make sure it is done properly so that it does not become detached while traveling on the interstate. The employee had the wiring harness wedged under the screw down mechanism which didn't allow the tongue of the trailer to fully compress against the ball of the hitch. When I hit a bump at a bridge transition, the trailer popped off and careened wildly behind my truck. Luckily, the safety chains held and I was able to maneuver through traffic without damage to my or anyone else's vehicle.

Michael SalernoBetter explain after hours return of vehicle. Dropped keys in box and then found I needed photos of gas gauge, odometer, outside of vehicle. None of this was explained to me when renting the vehicle. Luckily someone in repair shop had key to lock box so we could comply and not have to pay #20 fee for location to check gas and odometer and vehicle.
