The truck was the worst Uhaul truck I have ever used so far, very poor transmission, the shift indicator was not showing in proper place on the board. All in all, that truck needs some technical help.

I checked in online… Which made the process much easier… It literally took me seven minutes from the time I walked in to sit and drive away with the truck… People were friendly… Truck was in excellent mechanical condition.

This was my first time renting a u-haul at this place. It was a seamless experience. I loved the fact that they brought the truck out while I went to the counter to pay and register. This saved a lot of time. I would definitely go back to this place.

Maybe it was because we were dropping off at night on a Saturday, but it was very hard to figure out if there was a store front. It turned out to the be the gas station itself that you return the Uhaul to. We saw all the uhauls but couldn't find the store front associated with them and circled the block and parking lot a couple times until we went in and asked at the gas station which turned out to be what we were looking for. It would make it much clearer and easier if they marked it somewhere that it is a gas station or add a sign to the gas station itself saying return your uhaul here.

Due to COVID-19, there were no trucks available in the Manhattan area and this was the next best option. Although having to pay a lot in transit fees to get to the location, the experience was good.

The drop off was easy, the gentleman in charge was friendly and the process couldn't be quicker. The location was colocated with the gas station and it's extremely easy to top off the vehicle before the drop-off. I was very impressed! The only improvement I can think of is to have signs telling people the direction where vehicles should be drop off as there are many ways to enter the gas station/U-Haul hub.

Equipment was missing from my reservation and I wasn't informed until I picked up the truck. The manager didn't think it was a big deal. They told me to pickup my own equipment and I'd get reimbursed for it, when I sent in the receipt, I never heard anything back. Not a good experience!

My move was very stressful ., and out of state. I used u haul in the past. They are pretty quick, did my move new truck,, and done. The trip East Providence , to N.J.was a nice small relief, in A big pain in the u know what. Thanks to you U Haul. John.

If this location is open 24hrs why would you charge customers an after hour fee. That does not make any sense to charge someone an after hour fee if the location never closes.

When I returned the van that I rented I realized that I left my apartment keys in the van. I immediately contacted this location and was told to come back to retrieve my keys. When I arrived I was told that the van had been rented out and my keys weren’t in the van. The staff at this location were very unfriendly and condescending. I would not recommend this location.

Drop off was easy--the man who helped me at drop-off was quick, efficient, and friendly--but pick up was an absolute pain. Issues I had at pick-up time: 1. Mobile pick-up didn't work. I followed the process and got an error at the end. The vehicle was not in the parking lot (at the gas station). 2. The store clerk who worked behind the counter was mean, impatient. If he's the owner then I'd kinda surprised this store is still in business. 3. The truck I ended up getting looked very different from the pictures of the one I had to confirm on my phone. It did not have any uhaul branding on the outside.

The rear latch of the trailer was difficult to keep closed and tire maintenance notification kept coming up on the truck. The rear latch issue cause the rear door to open during transit. After pulling over and shutting again, it was very clear it was easy to open again with a slight bump in the road.

Picking up the U-Haul was a little challenging it was just one person attending and he was overwhelmed however returning do you haul was a breeze very helpful gentleman help me fill up the gas and put the cargo van back

Please keep the Truck clean inside. The driver seat and the dash board had stains which seemed like some soft drink / Coffee was split. It was sticky and dirty. Also the truck need to be maintained better for a smooth drive.

The only hiccup I had was with online check-in, and it was with location settings on my phone. Otherwise, this U-Haul location was fine. The employee of the gas station/ lot was acceptable. My girlfriend and I were visibly struggling to get our truck set up and he did not offer help, but I didn't hold it against him. Once we were set up everything went smoothly. Truck handled well.

Horrible experience. The parking brake light and abs light came on while driving on the highway. The truck had issues picking up Speed at times. The service traction control and service track stability lights were on. At night i had trouble starting the truck. There was a horeible burning smell as well inside the truck when i was driving towards the end of my journey. The smeel was stronger in the morning when i went to return. I had to drive for atleast 1.5hrs with that smell. I was delayed by hours and lost the appointment with the unloading guys due to that. I had to pay them $250 again in the morning to unload. Due to all this i was delay by 3 hrs in returning the truck and i was charged extra $58. I have lodged a formal complaint (Ref#2569255) on Feb 3rd with uhaul customer care. Awaiting resolution and refund. HIGHLY UNSATISFIED

This experience was a disaster. Water leaked into the cabin when it rained and we both got soaked. The cashier didn’t even honor the original online price I booked as well nor did he tell me how much he was charging. Total scam.

We reserved the truck, a hand truck, moving blankets and a 4 wheel furniture dolly. First the location was changed which we knew could happen. Next we were told that they had no dolly’s left. The fact that we moved my disabled mother with most of us suffering from health complications as well was stressful enough because money is so tight but to be told that there was no dolly was ridiculous. I personally had a heart implant 3 months ago which will not be healed for another 4-5 months and had to lift heavy furniture which is ridiculous. If equipment is requested then it should be there. Completely unacceptable.
