The guy who worked that gave me awful attitude and services. I booked for 4 hours and returned it in less than 4 hours. I place 15 miles drive but drove only 6 miles and returned it. The guy want me to pay gas for 10 $. Yes I'm deaf individuals and they guy wouldn't read my note or cooperated with me in this. Wasn't appreciated the guy who short and look like Latinos. I rate this 1 out of 10Rood M.

I returned the auto transport prior to returning the truck. The guy in charge was extremely rude and condescending. He kept yelling despite me still remaining calm and polite. He also extorted 20 $from me for simply keeping my car at the lot for 20 mins while i parked my truck at my apartment and returned. I would seriously recommend formal inquiry be made regarding this. The people at the counter were rude. They charged me extra 9 $dollars and when I asked them they told me to call uhaul customer service to get the credit. No explanation was given to me. Any questions you ask them about the vehicle their reply is we don't know. I did call uhaul customer service but was on hold for 30 minutes and gave up. It was a disappointment. Guys at other rental services are courteous, better and helpful.Jatin M.

Angel was miserable. He was short and rude. It was stressful for everyone because somebody didn't return a truck and I guess it just did a cascading effect from there. But... I was being as pleasant as I could be considering U-Haul called one hour before my reservation to tell me my truck wasn't available. I had to contact my moving help and my apartment building because reservations had been made for the moving help and elevator. I have to make a second and probably third trip because my moving help was not available to help me as long as I needed. It was the hottest day of the year with excessive heat warnings, but I still had to get the job done. The guy booked me for 6 hours instead of my reservation of 24 hours, which probably fed even more into the truck shortage. Meanwhile I paid full price for my truck and it will cost me a bunch of money and time because now I have to make the trip with my personal vehicle instead of one trip with a U-Haul which kind of defeats the purpose. When I returned the truck the other guy told me angel needed a vacation. Well so do i. But I wasn't a jerk to everybody. When I asked Angel to explain a little bit of the detail of my cost breakdown he was again short and rude and mumbled something under his breath. I filled up the tank because it was given to me almost on empty and I wish I could get a chunk of that cash back because it cost about 70 $to fill the tank. That was more than half of my U-Haul rental cost. I just can't even tell you how miserable this whole thing was. The engine sounded strange. So I hope at some point this thing goes in for a maintenance check. I have driven moving trucks for a very long time I am in my fifties. And this one just didn't sound healthy. It was clean and it had air conditioning so I guess overall I got some of my things moved. I wish they would give me a van rental for free today but I know that's not going to happen. Very disappointed. I used Penske last time and hated them for my cross country trip. So I swore I wouldn't go back to penske. This may be the one that has me looking at Enterprise or budget. It was horrible. On the other side I did Reserve through U-Haul a business called diamond movers and the New York City area to unload my belongings. They were professional and courteous and the best movers I've ever worked with.KAREN ANN H.
Ordered blankets with my truck, location didn't have them. So I had to go to another uhaul location, the whole ordeal took me an extra 2 hours that I didn't have. Truck wasn't super clean, arm rest and chair was sticky, like something had been spilled on it.LUCAS P.

I have been to this location to rent uhaul almost about 3-4 times this year and they have all been great till the most recent one. The older gentleman that checked me out for my uhaul was extremely rude and yelled at me when I asked him if he could recommend somewhere I can park. Without even fully listening to my question he yelled at me saying no parking here! So I drove about 5 blocks and parked near some condos. I came back to pick up my uhaul van to drive and as I drove off he calls my cellphone asking why I didn't pick up my uhaul and where did I park. He told me to come back and pick up my Volvo. I didn't drive a Volvo so he said sorry and hung up. When I came to return my uhaul and was trying to refill the gas another attendant came out just as rude and bent my first card in half saying it was a bad card. No gave him 2 different cards and it turns out it was the machine at the pump that was faulty, bit my cards. Now I have a bent card. Moving is already stressful as it is and it's great that the workers at the gas station on Marin blvd can make it so much more stressful. Have a nice dayDUAN L.

You changed my pickup location meaning I had to pay expensive uber both ways when I coud have easily walked to my location i had picked. Extremely disappointed with U-Haul from every step of the way. Day of, we went to the address where our reservation was confirmed by email to pick up the truck only to find there was no reservation. The team on-site called corporate and discovered our reservation was at another location, so we then had to Uber over to the new location. After chatting with that team, they confirmed there was no reservation at that location and gave us a third address where our reservation was confirmed; had to Uber to the third location where FINALLY they had our truck. After signing all the paperwork we checked the truck out, which when confirming the condition of the vehicle, all of the photos presented were of a brand new truck and definitely not the one we were given. Inside the cabin was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several uses with customer paperwork on the floor. In addition, we made a reservation for furniture dollies, hand held dollies, and moving blankets. The attendant only confirmed at the end that there were no furniture dollies or moving blankets on site, and it "is what it is, nothing is guaranteed." When you make a reservation, you expect to receive what is confirmed by email and not have last minute changes especially when you have a move first thing the next morning. Not only did we have to pay for the truck, but two additional uber rides to the final location AND we spent 200 $on moving blankets which we cannot return all because our initial reservation was not honored. This was completely unprofessional and would be something I would expect from a less reputable company. All of the U-Haul employees could care less about us as customers and were completely unhelpful in solving any of the issues we had along the way. Even called the customer service number personally to figure out what the issue was and where we could pick up our truck, the service agent had an attitude and ended up dropping off the call with no call back. After this experience we definitely would not recommend using U-Haul for any moving needs. Moving is stressful enough already, this is the last thing you need on a moving weekend/day.JAMES CONNOR D.
