No one helps drop the trailer, I was left to pick it up and place it on the trailer jack by myself and they are very heavy.

I’ll never rent a uhaul ever again because of these 2 locations cause I think it’s a scam and they find any reason to charge more money and it’s already expensive $200 for 1 day and 83 miles is rediculois and made moving our stuff way more stressful
BRANDON SMust be a new location or new employee. Person at the counter took nearly a half hour or more to get me checked out and took multiple tries and calls before they got it done.

David FThe guy didn't tell me he could take a combination of cash and card until I had pulled $80 4x's, with a $2,5 charge for each. I asked for a specific trailer, because it looked new. The trailer he sent me with had a taillight out (right side) and I don't believe the license plate lights worked either.
jonathan dAgent was rude and ignorant. Left me standing at desk for 20 minutes and never returned so I just left. We were supposed to be getting a return deposit because we put gas in the truck because we got it on empty.
Amanda SOverall I love Uhaul and have always had great service wherever I have rented from. The complaint I have is with the service at the Denison IowA location. The guy is not customer focused AT ALL.. when I returned the 6X12 trailer after using for 24 hours, I backed it in to the parking spot, unhooked the chains and the light cord and then went in to ask Ali if he had a Jack to help lift the trailer off the hitch. He said, no that I just needed to lift it off. I told him that I could not lift it. He said, just move it around and lift it, if I come help you I will charge you $25. I said that I have never had a Uhaul facility tell me that and that they were always right out there to assist when I returned a trailer. I walked out and tried to get the trailer unhooked. He did come out and acted like he was put out by assisting me and then just said "ok bye bye " and walked away. Very very poor customer service. I will not rent from that location. Theresa SThe location is great for rural Iowa and the staff was very friendly. However, we received the truck with the floor mats covered in road grime from the last user. Additionally, both windshield wipers were broken and the truck was a 1/2 gallon low on coolant. We had to spend our own personal time & money just to be road-worthy. Throughout the journey, cab leaked water onto driver and had to be sealed with paper towels every couple hours for 3 days. Very disappointing after spending $2000+ on this unit. Would like to see vehicles reviewed a little closer before leasing to another user, especially at the prices charged.

Rob RNothing but compliments! I didn't know how to undo my jeep from the trailer, and yet the person on duty not only helped me but did most of the work himself! Had he not done so, I would probably still be trying to unhook the jeep from its trailer. Well organized with trucks and trailers in their lot. Compliments all around!
Richard PYou need to have the reservation department and the scheduling department communicate better. In the last 12 years we have rented uhaul trucks to move us and both times the day of the move we have had to scramble to find a truck. Terrible headache for us both times. We would definitely think twice before recommending or using uhaul again because of this issue. In fact I would say our experience with uhaul reservation and scheduling was absolutely horrible!!

DennisorLorraine QHello If you check you will see that I have rented way more trucks than your average customer. The Lake Manawa Council Bluffs, Iowa location has water hoses to keep their equipment clean inside and out. This location does not have that. The inside of the truck cab and the truck back was filled with dirt and I do not believe it was even swept out. I swept out both front and back. The MAJOR problem with these people was that when I was returning the vehicle, the man was going to charge me for a scrap on the front dumper even tho I had insurance. When I went back to look at what he was talking about, it was CLEARLY marked with one of your accident stickers with the black X. I had to point the mark out to him. The bump was so old that it was already rusted on the metal part of the bumper. He thought I scraped the rubber part of the bumper just exactly under the scrap on the metal part of the bumper. I knew I did not even come close to hitting or even bumping anything. He was trying to CHEAT me and I did not like being treated that way after all these years of being such a good customer! The reason I would recommend this location as we are in a RURAL area where there are NO choices to rent trucks. Plus, another thing is they were trying to get me out the door when I was calling my bank as my bank told me they had already taken the deposit $132 out of my account and I thought I should be billed the difference and was worried I was being double billed. They wanted me to call Uhaul and not help me! You are welcome to call me if you want to discuss this further. Your fan!

Randy RDenison Inn and Suites was very accomodating as was the rep from UHaul that I spoke with on the phone. Came in from out of state and needed a car dolly. One not being available in Denison, the owner of Denison Inn and Suites drove to a neighboring city to bring one back to Denison for me. This saved me 2 hours of drive time after a day of 10 hours of drive time already! What service. Very friendly and caring- Would even recommend staying at his Inn- clean and accomodating from what I could tell! May want to consider new tires as at least one was little to no tread remaining prior to pick up.

billy bHe tried to say he called me to confirm but I never received a call from him so he then tried to tell me my reservation had been cancelled because I didn't answer his call. So I showed him my phone and it showed no call from him. I also showed him my reservation email to prove they had upgraded me to a 26' truck because they did it have a 20' available. I feel like he was trying to scam me for more money. Also he took photos with his phone of my drivers license and credit card which I do not agree with at all!! Half of the packing blankets I had rented could not be used as they were wet. And the small furniture dolly I rented he didn't have so he gave me an appliance dolly which was of no use to me at all.

Joseph SOur only issue was we had to drive over an hour to get a truck and we were not guaranteed a truck until a couple days before the move which made it very difficult to plan anything. We have a local u haul but they had no trucks. We tried calling weeks in advance and we told we could not reserve a truck
RONALD SInsurance was added to my bill after the reservation without my knowledge so, I was stolen from by the employee. Now three days later Uhaul thinks it just fine that I have to wait 7 to 10 business days to get my money back. So, as far as the location in Denison, Iowa. I will be leaving my reviews about that concerning Uhaul on all of the social media I use.

Billy BTried to get directions from this location. Sent us to the wrong direction.Called back again still bad directions. Drove around for 45minutes, gave up stopped at a gas station got directions, drove right there.
