The amount of gas that we had to put in was not clear. If the truck was full when we got it, we would know that we had to fill it up when we brought it back. It said three-quarters so we put 110 $of gas in it to get it to the three-quarter mark but I'm sure that was far too much. The truck itself was clean, easy to drive and a good size so the move went well.GORDON F.
The van was not clean, both outside and inside. And had also not been disinfected inside. There was a strong smell of animal urine, and animal urine in the cargo section. I took the van none the less because there were none other in the parking lot and I had no choice. I did note it and took pictures before leaving. When I confronted the desk person upon my return, I was served a bunch of lies and excesuses. Last time I deal with Uhaul.MARC P.

The 179 Rue Guillemette location really saved my butt on moving day. I will not post my general review of UHaul here because my harsh words are not a reflection of this actual location. Long story short, I was left with no van on my actual moving day; after a quick Google search for other UHaul locations in the area, I ended up at Rue Guillemette and the extremely kind person there let me fulfil my reservation even though their UHaul service is non-operational on a Sunday (I think he could sense my near break-down after all the stress I had experienced with UHaul up until that point). I don't know what I would have done without the kindness of the guy there, so thank you.GWYNETH R.

The truck had some dirt inside but besides that the people at the location were very kind and accommodating since I was late returning the truck and they didn't charge me for a misplaced blanket.ANNE MAN-LAN C.

The person at this location was not helpful. After waiting over 30 minutes, he told me there was a problem with the trucks and would not be able to serve us and directed us to another location nearby. He then made a few calls, and someone was able to call me to complete the contract and confirm the truck was fine. It was the longest and most frustrating uhaul experience I have ever had.DAPHNEAM D.

The store opened late. It took over 1 hour to get the U-Haul. They did not have the blankets I had requested in the reservation and did not bother to tell me until I had the keys and asked about them.Bryan L.

Efficient and courteous service. An empty sports drink bottle and the previous rental contract were still in the truck. My printed copy of the rental contract was improperly formatted. Three blank pages, then a half printed page with a place for a customer signature.ALAN F.
We are in QuÃ©bec - The person could hardly speak English and no French. He could not explain why I seemed to be charged twice for the service. Finally, everything worked out fine. FOR U-HAUL ENtreprise I believe it would not be too much to ask to translate your survey and other info in FRENCH when dealing with QuÃ©bec people. RESPECTLinda A.

The connection with UHaul server seemed to have an issue, waited for a while then was told that it would take 60-90 minutes to be able to do the pick up but the clerk let me take the truck anyways. Nothing was cleaned in between customers (which is important especially during the COVID-19 pandemic), but fortunately the truck was clean, I used my own wipes to wipe down everything I was going to touch. Upon my returned I was not told that there was a fuel charge, the truck was brought back to the same level I left with. I disputed by email, but never heard back.Elyse D.

I was billed falsely for 65 $in fuel fees when i made certain the fuel was at the 1/4 tank mark at a gas station 1 block from this drop off location. I feel intentionally scammed by this since my credit card was billed before and without my knowledge of these false charges claimed. As i drooped off the truck at 3:30 am. They are able ro claim whatever they want to and i cannot prove theyre lying to make extra money i paid 800 $and a mileage overage of 25 $with this added fraudulent additional 66 $its near 900 $to rent a truck drive 450 miles. Thats not cheap or reasonable. Ill never yse uhaul again. Movers are comparable price abd less work, stress, and infuriating.nathan A.
