My original reservation was made for the Mayfield location. However, I was notified in advance by Uhaul that the reservation was changed to the Euclid location due to equipment availability. Prior to pick up, I took advantage of the early check out mechanism to quicken the process. However, upon arrival, the pick up was not speedy.. I waited 5 - 10 minutes to be waited on. I was then told that they did not have the dollie that I ordered online and that I would have to pick it up from the Mayfield location. Not only was this an inconvenience, but I was also told to call to see if the Mayfield location had the dollie. This was unacceptable, unprofessional and frustrating. When I called the number given and spoke to a Uhaul representative, he was apologetic and stated that I would be credited the 10,00 $ for the dollie and for the mileage that I had to go for picking up the dollie at the Mayfield location. To date, I have not been refunded. Lastly, I was asked about cleanliness of truck, I don't believe it was adequately sanitized because the paperwork of a prior renter was still on the seat area when I picked up vehicle. This suggested that a real clean had not been done. Because of this uncertainty, and due to COVID19, I ensured it was clean before it was driven to the stated destination. Given this health crisis, Uhaul has to better notify their operators to guarantee clean equipment to ensure trust and confidence.Carletta F.
This process was a nightmare. Reserved a van for 11am Saturday. Got there 1045am and Waited in line until 1130am. Was then told they didn't have the van. Waited there til 1145am until they could find one. Then had to go to a sketchy neighborhood at 12pm and didn't officially have my van until 1230pm. Then a couple days later got hit with a bunch of unfair fees. Totally ludicrous and unacceptable. Honestly at this point I expect a refund for the whole transaction not just the bs fees.jordan K.
When it was time to pay, they couldn't retrieve my contract. It was attached to another persons name. Then when they did locate my contract, I was double charged for the truck. You all need to do better handling your business. I'm very displeased and disgusted.clovis C.
The workers were not professional, they were not helpful. Could not answer simple questions, I had to wait for 20 min to get the keys to the truck I made reservations for. The truck was on empty when I picked it up m, and when I returned it on empty I got charged 64 dollars. The entire experience was terrible and I will never be using uhaul service again.jasmine W.

when i received the truck it had only quater tank of gas and i was told to return the truck it with as much gas or the same as what was in it, and i did, a guarter of a tank. But i was charged 15 $for gas. The casheir stated that the computer read that there was less than a quarter tank of gas in the truck. The truck had less than that when i received ,but more than that when returned it. I did not receive a receit for the truck or the gas in it,ronald G.

The location personnel were incredibly helpful and patient. This was the third location I had to visit to to get a truck. Each previous location did not have the truck that I rented and paid for. I spent 2 hours just trying to get the truck that was promised to me from the uhaul representative that booked my reservation. In addition, the representatives made multiple incorrect reservations. Once it was finally straightened out, I had to go to multiple locations where they didn't have the vehicle I paid for. It wasn't until this location that they were able to get my a suitable replacement, even after I was assured by customer service I would have what I needed on site.Stephen K.

The U-Haul rep overcharged me I never got my refund he was rude and mean. I paid with my card with the receipt but he has in the computer that I have cash. Never got my money back I will never use U-Haul again I have a pending case open with them for this incidentAshley D.

First when we got there we had to wait 45 mind for someone to check us out to get truck, then the guy that checked us out was rude, ghetto and didn't give us no paper work with miles or has wrote down he just have us the key. This was a horrible experience. I was charged over 310,00 $ for the truck rental, dolly and safemove. When I questioned the charges, I was told I had to contact customer service. I called customer service they explained the charges which were self evident but I did not have the truck 2 days or go over the 8 hour time specified. It's Sunday so I was email an updated receipt but I won't get my money for a couple of days. I am a very dissatisfied customer because you took the money from my account in the matter of minutes. There were three transactions taken from Uhaul Discount Wireless in East Cleveland, Ohio but you can't give me my money back that may be business but if it were your money you would want your money as well. Terrible customer service!! I won't ever do or recommend business with Uhaul or Discount Wireless again!!!deitra W.
They tried to receive/ask for more money then required then what was originally discussed/ agreed upon. Also after being told on phone by customer service, that if you have rental insurance, you don't have to purchase there's person at Discount Wireless, charge us anyway after being told by me and person on phone. I had also asked could I get a paper receipt from my transaction, and was told I can only get it by email. I was never allowed to look at the paper work to go over it with them or was told at anytime when to sign it or if I signed the contract. I had the person there sign the little store receipt I received for my transaction with the uhaul truck, it look like a receipt for purchasing a bag of chips, not a contract. When I called to complain the store directed me back to customer service, to get back the money they should never had tooking in the first place. I gave them cash, I'm waiting on a check.??marlyn N.

Disappointed that I went to the trouble of downloading the app for quicker pick up however the app did not work and it took a rather long time to get the equipment. The truck had damage to it which did not prevent us from using it but we were concerned that we would be held responsible as there was no check out damage procedure. The Mayfield location is much nicer as far as a pick up location. I will add that the representative were friendly and helpfultina R.

The truck you gave me was crap, it was dirty, tire was flat, roadside service took four hours, I lost thousands of dollars in employee wages and lost time waiting on the tire to be changed, the truck was way too old to be on the road in the first place, I expect a full refund on all money paid for this move, please have supervisor call me ASAP at 443-430-1548,Asa M.

I had an absolutely terrible time using uhaul and I would like my money back, not that I will get it because your people refused to listen to me or even try to work with me. I will not recommend u haul to anyone because your people are rude and uninformed. On the website it said that the drop off location was optional, but then when I go to drop it off they tell me I can't drop it off anywhere? I understand that I didn't read my contract properly, but on your website you should say that it isn't optional because I read optional as I can figure out where I'm dropping it off later. On top of that, I asked one of your workers TWICE if I could drop it off at a seperate location and both times they told me yes. So, wrong contract or not, your people misinformed me, I had never used a uhaul before and didn't understand that your employees telling me I can drop it off anywhere meant no I cant. And on top of that I specifically chose the 14 dollar insurance but you charged me for the 28 dollar one. I chose to use uhaul specifically so I could drop it off where I was moving and not have to pay the extra mileage and waste my time because evidentially, I have a full time job and I only had one day to move. So, didn't have time to drop it off in the same day, and I had to be late to work the next day so I could drop it off. And I had to pay more money. So if whoever is reading this, if any of your people even care because the woman I talked to was rude and surely did not, I would like my money back because it was a scam. I had never used a uhaul before and was incredibly misinformed. So I now will never use a uhaul again.Bryce J.
