I rented a trailer that was a minimum eight day package. I get it, no problem. I needed it for two additional days. I brought it back one day early. I asked for a refund for the additional day I did not use and was refused saying it was part of a package. I felt ripped off. Also, your website makes it impossible to rent a trailer for more than eight days without calling or visiting a dealer. Why wouldn't you have this available online?Mark T.

The people and products at the location were great. The U-Haul app and processed sucked. I had to put my request in 3 times before it booked the location I put in. After the reservation process when I put in person check in I got 5 requests to do in app check in. You requested I upload my Drivers 3 time after I did it during the reservation process. When I got to the location for the pick up they did not have my reservation. When they looked it up they could see it but I had to cancel and rebook with them. The trailer was filthy inside and the woman told us that the one we were supposed to get hadn't been returned and that this one was supposed to be sent in for repair but she didn't know why. Made us nervous to think that there might be something wrong with it.William G.

At first I was given the key to the wrong truck and then they told me the dolly I had ordered and already paid for was unavailable. Making me then call customer service and have them find a location that had a dolly for me to use, had to pay for a second dolly, drive to that separate location and pick it up, and I still haven't been reimbursed for the dolly I paid for and didn't receive!Sarah C.

When I called your one 800 service number I spoke to someone who was so rude to me and talk to me like I was stupid I will never use U-Haul ever again in my entire life I would rather go buy a truck then to ever rent one from these people ever again and it wasn't the service station it was U-Haul the companyMiranda R.

Owner was on site and very helpful. FYI when we got the truck to our loading location they truck had several moving blankets that we did not rent. We returned them with the truck drop off. Didn't know what to do there. Was a honest mistake I'm sure.Casey W.

"800" reservation line was very quick to respond. Local pick-up sounded unprofessional on the phone, and although very nice, they were very unprofessional in person. Slow check in...computer program was not accepting info. Over charged credit card - charged for a 10' AND a 15' truck AND double insurance. Will think twice about using Uhaul in the future.Julie G.

Busy, small auto repair shop. I did all of the 'reservation' steps including filling in Drivers License info, choosing add-ons etc and still had to go through the process for 15-20 minutes at the location. I don't typically complain, but the Uhaul was a low priority on their list - it would be a hassle in a busy repair shop - but I filled out all the app info, helped them expedite the process. Then I returned at 4:15 and they were closed. I parked the trailer and they charged me for additional days. It was back on time... Oh well, the other service centers, especially the one in Downtown Lex and on New Circle are fantastic.Robert Shawn B.
I am very displeased with the customer service I received at Dixons Service Center. I spent close to 700 on a one way uhaul from NC traveling one way to KY. When trying to obtain my deposit I was told the wrong information from Dixon's Service Center, that I could pick my deposit up where I picked the truck up at in NC (I dropped truck off in KY after hours and was headed back to NC following day). Upon driving back to NC I am told that I have to receive my deposit where I dropped the truck off in KY. So I drive all the way back to KY to get my deposit. But when I get to KY they still won't release my deposit because "a glitch in the system has overcharged me an extra day of insurance, so there is a hold on the account and they can't release my deposit." I was lied to by Dixen's Service Center and told that I went over mileage which is why the hold was there, finally after they added up my mileage, as I requested, they realized I did not go over the mileage and that it was an error in the system charging me for an extra day of insurance, which they eventually corrected. The worker at Dixons service in KY was very rude in helping me resolve this manner. Furthermore, Arbor hill Uhaul in NC said they would write a detailed note in the system , so that I would have no problem picking up my deposit in KY. There is clearly absolutely no collaboration between the uhaul centers. Please reach out to Dixons Service Center and make it clear to them how Deposit pick up works, because had they not told me that I had to pick up my deposit where I dropped the truck off, there would have been no problem to begin with . And their workers need to work on their attitude. When customers are paying close to 700 there shouldn't be poor customer service. End the end I was given my entire deposit back, but I had to wait 48 hours before receiving it because of poor communication and lack of employees at Dixen's Service Center understanding the uhaul protocol.leona S.
