My issue was not with the pickup and drop off location. I used the website Uhaul reccommended for movers and the movers never showed up. My husband and I had to move everything ourselves in the pouring rain. Because of this we had to rent the Uhaul for an extra day which added to our frustrations. It was a very horrible experience. It left a bad taste in my mouth with Uhaul and the moving website. They should verify who they reccommended to people since I relied on a notable companies advice to use this website

The trailer was dirty with trash cigarettes butts all over the place and had a very bad smell and by the time I had to inspect it and went to talk to the person running the shop he had left out the parking lot with out checking to see if I was all set so I went home and had to clean and disinfect the in side before I could load and in return they issued a $25.00 credit for cleaning but maybe the rental place would think about checking on the rentals that are leaving that day and if they are having trouble with the homeless maybe put locks on the back doors so when they do a inspection of the rental they can remove the lock thank you I plane on still using U-Haul very convenient.

Corey was a great help,,What a great represenitive for U-Haul company..Also noticed excellent cust service and what a great atmosphere in that location happy customers,,warm coffee,,,new magazines and he gave me a $10.00 coupon key tag off my oil changes for the next 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to wait a while for anyone to show up at the counter. They didn’t tell me to check for a text before I drove away. This ultimately cost me ($15- not a huge deal, but still). Simple step missed. And not that it’s really important, but the name on my invoice is not mine- it’s a complete stranger.

I was charged for equipment that was not provided. I asked for moving pads and hand truck, was charged for them, and they were not in the truck. When checking out online I stated that the charges were incorrect and was charged for them anyway. Overall it cost us extra time moving and made it a stressful day, going to locate a dolly to use and wrapping furniture with sheets. Terrible experience.

Your website is TERRIBLE! I have worked with many business websites in Real Estate, Retail Sales and Services and I can honestly say I have never had so much trouble navigating, reading and ordering on any other website. Please get your site updated so that it reflects the image you want to put forth. I wouldn't recommend your site to anyone the way it is now. SPEND THE MONEY TO MAKE IT WORK.

DKC Auto Repair has always been great to deal with. ***U-Haul*** is another story they need to upgrade their system (computer) we arrived and the system is down and very slow to respond. DKC does everything in their power to help. I had 4 guys waiting for a truck that I might not have been able to pick up because of an old computer system. Extra drivers could not be added at the pickup location again due to software issues.

The Application was a complete failure. It took hours to complete on line, took a long time to do on the day of and still ended up having to go into the office to pick up keys, causing me to wait behind somebody who did not do the online form because there was only one person in the area that could help anybody. I also ordered 12 blankets and when I realized these were not in the vehicle, I went back and found out that this location did not have any blankets to supply me with. I had to go to another location in order to get blankets and that location only had 6 blankets they could give me. All in all, this experience sucked and I blame most of it on Uhaul, not the location. It was your responsibility to ship supplies to the location. It was your responsibility to design an ap that made the process faster and not more painful and it was your responsibility to make sure that your outlets are all obligated to be properly staffed.

Milage was different on odometer as was on paperwork so I had to pay for 4 extra miles I did not use. Back of van had all sorts of trash and broken glass in it. In the end I was charged for 2 days use when I only requested 1 and brought it back 22hrs after I recieved it. Very unhappy

I dropped off the truck before the deadline and was told I was "good to go". Not even an hr later, I was charged an extra day and money was taken out of my account without my authorization. The money was supposed to be immediately returned but was not. I'm still waiting for it!

It got the job done. Didn't have the size truck i reserved unless it was a local move. So I took the local move option because I needed the truck. Then I had to pay for the extra miles to bring the truck back. My move was one hour away. The truck smelled pretty bad too. cab and cargo. It started making me feel sick while driving so long. I don't think it would be a big deal for a short move. Headlights were horrible. Very dangerous driving at night. Dropping the truck off I couldn't find the lock box for the keys which was frustrating but the lady on the phone that helped me was very pleasant to work with. I'd say my entire rating is 3 out of 5. and that's being generous. I don't like giving bad reviews. I'm grateful I was able to get the job done and all the people involved were great. It's just the extra time I spent driving for something I reserved and being forced to take the local option that cost more and the condition of the truck.

The truck we rented had mechanical issues that required us to return the truck prior to accomplishing the work that we had rented the truck for in the first place. I expressed that I have no problem paying the mileage but not the rental rate. I just received the receipt showing they charged my card for the full amount.

Picking up uhaul and checking it out was a breeze. The guy who helped put trailer on was a bit unhappy seeing I rented the larger trailer so that meant heavier lifting to attach to my hitch. On the way to my storage, the lift came off as he did not attach pin all the way in and the ball was stuck to the underneath of my van. Luckily I was on the side road not going faster than 15-20 mph. Never had this happened in any state I have lived and I move a lot. I will not use this location again. I had no choice as my location was booked.

I was originally sent to Dayville, CT and told there was a drop off location there. After an hour spent looking for this location, I called and was assured that it was there. I had to call again to demand that they allow me to drop it off at different location. The existing uhaul locations were great....customer service not so much.

The truck just came in so it wasn't the locations fault. The truck had a broken AC unit on a 90+ degree day. And the Trailer/Tow feature could not be disabled so we only got 9 MPG for the trip to pick up a Aluminum Wheel Chair Ramp. So I would have to rate the truck a 5 at the most.
