Unfortunately, there is no parking near to the store. So after visiting the store to hire the truck, we have to take a 2-3 mins walk to the place where truck is parked.

- tell people the correct location of the truck - don't make someone do online check in and then still have to wait 30 mins while you manually check them in again.

1 cashier, customers wanting to by groceries, cashier asked a few times if she could serve them first, 28 minutes to complete our interaction, long line up behind us ... then we were told that we had to walk to block with the Dollieto the van. It wasn't even on the premises. Very poor customer service. Very Poor !

We are quite disappointed with the experience with Uhaul. We booked the van online, and checked-in online prior to pick up (which seemed like a great, time saving service), only to arrive to the Dolar Mart (New West) provider and needing to still go through about 15-20 mins of back and forth with the license. The booking details were also incorrect, and we did not know we had to sign a separate form in order to go without the coverage. All in all, this led to our tight schedule being even tighter, and we didn't even get the dolly we requested. Kindly ensure more standardized processes and systems throughout your providers, Thanks,

The parking lot this van is parked in is very tight. Too much potential to damage it.

Tight spots and tricky to maneuver when lot is full. There is someone that came and told us we were on 2 parking spots even though we were examining the vehicle and following the steps.

I booked a van in a specific location. On your website, it specifically said I can pick up the van through my phone. I needed that because I needed to pick up the van late at night. When I got to the location, the link which your website sent me, did not work. So I called uhaul, and the lady over the phone said this location does not allow pick up over the phone. She found another van for me at the current location afterwards. It was a complete waste of my time and headache and hassle. So many things went wrong.

The parking location is a nightmare to both get out of and park within, for a van. I have van and trailer experience and I was in constant fear of dinging someone in that cramped, awkward parking. I needed to bother my wife to spot me to park when I returned it.

Not easy to access. Store is 5 blocks from van location. Pre-order process saved me absolutely no time, so what's the point?

The online booking is fine..the check in process is not. Everything done online was duplicated on site. Photos of driver's licence is a cumbersome process. The agent I spoke to on the phone when computer froze said to just show up for the reservation. However it was very time consuming and frustrating. There has to be an easier more intuitive process.

Make sure staff on hand is aware of the U-Haul service provided through their outlet and how to access and administer said product. And don't over charge for a short haul job.

Send an email notifying me of the actual pickup location. Location was changed due to construction in the area. When I called, uhaul was unable to give me a clear answer as to where the truck was parked.

It's hard to tell that's the right place from outside. The van I was renting was in the parking that was 2 blocks away From the address. There should be a big sign outside.

The owner does not speak English - very irritating. Upon return, I filled the gas tank to the required level and double checked at the gas station. I found out that the "Sneaky One" found it ok to charge my Visa for additional money because he did not agree with my gas replacement. The truck is parked at another location and he was too busy running his store to verify the return info in person with me. I was long gone by the time he walked over to do his assessment and decided to steal a few dollars. Don't go near this loser!

Why don't U-HAUL inform where is the exact car location, and always "points out"the store location? In this store, the vehicle location is far and nothing is passsed to the client. One more item that U-Haul lost points with me is that, I had to rent the vehicle longer than I initially requested because none of the 3 "dollys" was in the vehicle as order and as U-Haul said it would be. So I paid for more hours because of a mistake os U-HAUL!!! Is this clear for you ???

The gentleman at Dollar Plus was surprised that I was there and told me I didn't have a reservation. I read him the reservation number and he informed I was late. I was, as I thought I had booked it to pick up at the truck, but couldn't find the truck parked anywhere near the address given. After retaking all my information, even though he found the reservation, he had trouble with his printer. At one point he made it seem like I wouldn't be able to rent the van due to the fact that his printer wasn't working. Once he sorted out the printer problem I was informed that the truck was actually parked two blocks away, and given the code for the lock box. Upon arriving at the location of the van I found out that the code I was given was incorrect. I called the location and he informed me he would be approximately 10 minutes, as he had to close the store. He arrived 20 minutes later to find that he did not have the proper lock box code. He called someone else and finally got the key for me. By this time, some hour plus after I “started” my rental according to the contract, I found that the link to report any damage had expired. Overall it was an incredibly disorganized transaction, and while the “agent” was kind, I'm not sure that made up for the bungling of the rental. Also, the pickup location should be listed as the ACTUAL pickup location, and not two blocks away, not listed anywhere as a pickup location.

The location for pick up is the Dollar Mart; not a Super Mini-mart. Lady working at the store that day was very kind and helpful.

The U-Haul location is inside a small dollar store. The shopkeeper can't speak English at all and is almost impossible to understand what you are supposed to do and where the vans/trucks are, especially if it is your first time with U-Haul (which was unfortunately my experience). I would suggest to use the Mobile pick-up in order to avoid this location at all costs.

Neighborhood dealer has no idea what he was doing. My reservation was at 10am. I didn't end up leaving the place with my cargo van until 11:15am. He had to keep calling other people for help.
