The drop off location texted to me (1975 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH) was in a very unsafe neighborhood and did not have an office and we could not find the "orange drop box" for the keys. We were on the phone for over 30 mins to get direction and your attendant hung up on us! I will never rent from you again. We left the truck there and dropped the keys off at another location with "Jagger" who was excellent and helpful. You need to close the Cleveland Ave drop location - it is not safe.

We did not receive any receipts upon drop off. The employee did not bother to look if we were even dropping off any uhaul: he didn’t check if we had an existing reservation and he did not look outside to see where we parked it. He said he would “take care of it later” and seemed not to care that we were there. I ended up doing online drop off for some kind of insurance to make sure that the trailer would be okay and we would not be liable. I contacted customer service so I could send a set of pictures about the trailer and where it was dropped off in order to ensure that we would not have issues. I would not recommend dropping off any trailers here. Any one could drive by with a truck and attach it and drive away and no one would notice, and it would end up being your fault because no one would say they saw you drop it off.

We arrived mid-morning on a Sunday. Felt rather uncomfortable with groups of people just hanging out in parking lot. Store entrance was hard to identify since many building glass panes were taped up. UHaul rep was pleasant and thorough. Upon leaving the store, was approached for $ as I entered my car. Did not feel comfortable staying in lot longer than necessary.

It was a horrible experience. Wrong information on account. I told them it was the wrong information and still nothing was done. Due to wrong information could not get a time to drop off truck through online. I have always had a uhaul for 24 hours and the time frame was 4 hours. Had a horrible time getting anything together and nothing was corrected. I will say the Uhaul customer representative was nice, empathetic, and helped me complete a return and stayed on the phone with me as it needed to be checked multiple times even with her help. Still nothing was completed though.

There needs to be another trained uhaul staff member who can be at this location earlier. If I as a paying customer am told that I can pick up a vehicle at 9am I'd expect the trained staff member to be present at that time. Besides that the customer service issues through uhaul itself warranted seven separate calls in total for the reservation alone though t most of the staff was pleasant and even the independent renter was as well even helpful with mileage concerns. But with the stress of moving alone including the late pickup reservation issues payment issues the whole experience was way more stressful than was needed.

I arrive at the store (Dollar Plus) and the cashier seems confused that I'm there to pick up a trailer. Finally after some deliberation he makes a phone call and has me talk to another person on the phone to give them my personal information regarding my truck and license. To be frank, I don't even know who was on the phone or who I was talking to. At the end of the conversation, the cashier then tells me I'm done and I can get the trailer. He offers no help. I have to hook up the trailer by myself. Then I check the lights and find out the right blinker is burnt out. I couldn't even check the brake lights because I'm by myself. I call it a loss (for if I get a ticket) because I need the uhaul. Additionally it is parked inches away from another SUV. Luckily I was able to get it out of the spot without hitting the SUV. When I get the trailer home and open the door, It is dirty and full of leaves. I have to clean it out before even packing my stuff. THIS IS A HORRIBLE RENTAL LOCATION, I CAN'T BELIEVE CORPORATE UHAUL HAS ALLOWED THEM TO STAY OPEN FOR THIS LONG.

There was a wiring issue that killed my battery. It's a design issue where running light wiring is exposed. Please look into it. This issue left me stranded. The mechanic who gave roadside service diagnosed the problem and got me running so I could drive at night operating my hazards and not get pulled over. He also mentioned this issue will burn out alternators and that I should have mine checked. I realize these things happen, but am nonetheless very frustrated and disappointed. I also realize that I will likely never see fair compensation for the damage this issue caused me, but PLEASE service this trailer so that the next customer won't re-live my experience. On the upshot, the vendors did a splendid job issuing the agreement.

basically the only issue I had is while I was filling out the paperwork and paying to rent the U-Haul there was employees in the store at that location smoking cigarettes in the building I know that is not a U-Haul store it's the one with the contract through you but that was my problem with that place and I will not recommend anyone go back there because of such problem other than that the service was great

Staff were rude, truck had less than the required return amount of gas to begin with, Back of the truck was dirty, staff did not want to interact with me, no return survey was given as listed on the key, horrible experience, would not recommend this location to even my worst enemy.

1). The location was in sketchy area/neighborhood. Locations that are used to distribute units should be screened for security/safety. 2). wiring harness for trailer lights had splices and been wrapped in a bundle with electrical tape. The lights DID work without issue though, but as an electrician by trade, I feel this was not a professional repair. Again the unit DID do the task expected.

This location did not do proper input of my rental and I will not use or recommend this location. The customer service reps were very kind and understanding when I called both divisions. I will continue to use Uhaul for all my moving needs, just not the location I used this time.

We dropped it off at a $ store location. The people came out to get the truck but didn't have any id that they were part of U Haul. It could have been anyone trying to get the truck. They need to wear a shirt or something.

Getting the vehicle was a hassle and was also confusing, because signage was not great. The person who we checked out with did not seem to know what was going on and it took 30-45 minutes to get the vehicle.

Staff seemed bothered to have to rent a uhaul. Then once the computer was up he took my ID and said you know you could have done this online. I explained I was hoping not to need one and the cost but ....then when I told him I wanted a 10' truck one way he was like those are just local. I said oh online it said one way so he called and was told yes one way. He then ask me if I wanted insurance and I said yes. He quoted me less then online and only one option which made me nervous that possibly I wasn't insured. He ask where I was going I said Canton he said ok we have that. By now I was rather nervous this location is in bad neighborhood and the person helping me kept talking to another staff member in their language and seemed as though they were watching someone. I said what time do I need to drop it off he said tomorrow same time. I said what online for long distance it gave me from Friday to Sunday so once again he had to make another call. Yep they confirmed I would be good till Sunday. He said sign here here so I did and was off. ( lesson learned read before signing here!!!) so the tank was full but not really full of that makes sense. The next morning i thought he didn't ask what stop in Canton so I better look at the paper. Yep he put Kenton ok I guess Canton and Kenton easy mistake especially when English is not your primary language. I called and the lady was like no problem I can change that. She then ask for zip and I gave her it and she said we have a drop in Dover on great I'll take that please.The truck ran all in all OK it seemed to not do great in town like a the transmission wasn't shifting properly. Highway did good.

The truck was very good and easy to drive. There were a few problems with the mileage but the guys made sure everything was right.

Trialer I rented wasnt cleaned out, they didnt know what equipment they had on hand, and they messed up all my paperwork. The place i dropped the trailer off at had to fix the paperwork so i could get my deposit back. Rent from someone else!!!

the man who was supposed to give me the truck was not there when i arrived for my 11am reservation. i told him i had a reservation and he still sat there and put everything in the computer i already did. he arrived at 1130 by the way. i asked for my $50 and he said the truck was available he was just late....well doesnt that mean the reservation was not ready!!!! i will never rent from them again.

Zaiden, said she would be there at 9:45 for 10:00AM opening. But that she had 9 kids, so she may not be there until 10 - when she should be open anyway! We got there at 10:15AM and the gate was locked. I called and a gentlemen said he was on his way - within 15 minutes. A truck arrived at 10:47 and a Zaiden got out and took care of me. She apologized, she said something about one of her 9 kids. I hope this doesn't happen often. She marked the gas tank at 1/2 full. As I started the truck it was almost at 3/8. I had lost enough time already - now it is 11AM and more people were waiting. I brought it back at 3/4. The truck was perfect, clean except 2 cigar butts in the ashtray.

I was promised a 14ft truck and it was 17ft I was moving a rolling motorcycle fram I could of used a10ft if it a a ramp that's the only reason I went to a 14ft truck for the ramp it cost me a lot more money in gas I'm not happy refund $50.00 I would be happy that's a good guess how much more in gas it cost me

The employees were extremely helpful and assisted me in dropping off and unhooking the trailer. I believe that the lot is undersized and not easily accessible for the common driver (non-experienced with trailers and large trucks) to access in a safe manner. It was extremely dangerous in the fact that the only way to return a large truck and trailer is to back into a very busy and congested road. At one point I had to stand in the middle of the road to stop on-coming traffic while the employees of the facility were backing in the truck. The facility needs a way to drop off equipment in a safe manner or not allow a large truck with a trailer to be dropped off or picked-up at that location. In my opinion U-haul and the business is setting itself up for a huge lawsuit if someone was to get hurt as a result of this issue.

Absolutely, nothing. Corporate U-Haul messed up the reservation and the operator called to verify ensuring that I had the equipment that I needed at the time that I needed. This is the only location that I will use in my area.

When we went to return the truck on Saturday afternoon, the location was closed. There was already another truck on the side of the road, not a parking lot, left there too. When I went to pick up the truck, the dolly was left unsecured in the back, and the truck wasn't what I wanted. I wasn't charged more money, but I did pay more in gas. The people weren't rude, by any means, just seemed unorganized. If I need a uhaul again, I will go to another location.
