Picking up the truck through the application did not work. I had to call customer support for them to enable pickup. 30 minutes of calls later I was able to pick up the truck. During the delivery of the truck the same thing happened. The delivery through the application also failed, having to repeat the process and taking the photos several times.
Antonio GGeolocation wouldn't work for drop off after hours. Trying to charge me an extra days rental because they checked it in this morning. I have time and date stamped photo off dropping off.

Paige KVan was given to me with squeaky brakes. I was able to make it safely but the van definitely could have used some brake maintenance of sort. Also, the guy serving me added into my reservation an extra service he did not discuss nor approve with me. Poor experience on my end, I wouldn't want to go back.
Michal LI had a hard time finding a parking spot due to lack of information. I was driving 26' feet truck and I had to turn around just to park it and there is no sign or information, whether I can park there or not. Nevertheless, the person at a place help or confirmed that where I parked was fine.
Lwin OI received an angry phone call stating I returned the truck late; 40 second call (I had a TWO DAY rental and returned the truck LESS THAN 12 HOURS LATER) When I called back after being hung up on abruptly I was put on hold for 27 MINUTES and NOBODY TOOK MY CALL! During my wait I heard the employees ask a female customer if she was on drugs, I heard the employees complaining about veterans; saying FUCK VETERANS, THEY DON'T DESERVE FREE THINGS, THEY ONLY JOINED THE SERVICE TO AVOID SCHOOL, VETERANS ARE FUCKING USELESS! I AM BEYOND APPALLED BY THE BEHAVIOR OF A BUSINESS THAT IS SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT UHAUL!

Kim LI find it annoying that I cant rate my over all U-Haul experience with the company, not just the locations. Both locations did their jobs well and were helpful but the company is clearly dishonest about their overall prices and does not actually care about real feedback since the only options for criticism are location based and not overall company based.
Richard HThe Uhaul felt unsafe to drive. The gas gauge fluctuated by 20 miles every mile. It was given to me with less than a quarter of a tanks worth of gas in it, so that's what I returned it with and I was charged.

SCOTT AVery difficult time getting our vehicle. We ordered online and essentially no one could figure out how to help us. They said we should have received a pin. No pin. We had to end up canceling our order and re order our van. 45 minutes later, we got our u haul. Very frustrating to begin a moving day.

Jamei GI had a very easy time dropping off my rental. The gentleman at this location simply took the keys and asked me if the truck was gassed and cleaned. He told me that it would be processed the next morning. The next morning, I was charged an additional $6,54 for going 6 miles over the estimated mileage. While this is not going to bankrupt me, I am a little upset that they charged me for this overage. Since I didn't deviate from my route from Charles Town, WV to Pittsburgh, PA, the only reason I can think of for this discrepancy is that I took a different route than what Uhaul based their mileage calculations. I'm assuming that they had me take the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which is one of the worst roads in the USA. I instead took Interstate 68 to Morgantown, WV, and 79 to my final destination. From there, I drove the truck directly to the dropoff point, stopping only to fill up with gas. Ironically, the dropoff point is 6 miles from my final destination. Again, this is not going to break me, but these added charges can drive me up a wall. If Uhaul had given me the directions to my final destination, then I could have disputed it before I finalized the reservation. Please note, this situation had nothing to do with the people and locations I dealt with. I had only good experiences on both ends of this transaction.
Wayne GAlot of inflammatory political decoration around the shop, the keys weren't in the drop off box, staff charged me for missing gas instead of letting me fill the tank at their attached gas station at the normal rate.

amanda sRental location was chamfed as well as dollys added that I did not choose. Was also signed up for some 24/7 pick up thing that I did not choose and had to do a "virtual" pick up. Took us 2 hours to do the online pick up. My children were left sitting on a street corner for 2 hours. Horrible horrible feature. Will Not be renting from Uhaul again. Guy at the location was great for the return. If he had not been there I'm sure the "virtual" return would have also taken hours!!!!

Michael SI got a call this morning asking where the truck was but I returned it last night and reported that through the website but apparently the site didn't convey that to the owners. Scared me as I'm sure it did the owners as well. So maybe that can be streamlined so that doesn't acure again. However the service was great. Very friendly people and clean truck.
Nicole MIt took us hours to pick it up and then they didn’t even have the dolly we paid for.
Laben Tit took over 45 minutes for us to get the keys and to even be able to finish the reservation. we checked in online and never got an email with a lock box code or even a truck number. the people at the desk had no idea what happened and the “uhaul guy” wasn’t there, so they basically made us stand there for 30 minutes until they called the uhaul company. the people were nice but it would have been nicer if anyone there knew what was going on…not just one guy who happened to step out and wasn’t even there to help us.

Nathaniel mI really really do not recommand using u haul ever again. Vecayde I was charged multiple time. First deposit, then additional charge i never used and trying to take 9000 dollar out from my bank. This company is joke? Do not care about customer. I tried to talk to customer care but she said it will take 3 days to figure it out. I only used for 4 hrs and got charged over 150 dollars and tried to take 9000 additionally. Please contact me if comonay care about customer.
Yongkyoo KPerfect rental, no mistakes, no holdups, helped me deal with a scheduling error that happened in the U-Haul booking engine, also with no hassle. I'm grateful for that, thanks guys.
KEVIN SOwner was extremely ignorant and bordered on mentally disabled. When I told him I was having trouble with the app he said "I don't know anything about that". My truck was supposed to have pads and dolly in it by 1100 am. I got there at noon due to traffic and nothing was ready. I entered everything in the website for supposed "convenience" of the app only to have to give this guy all my info and my drivers license and my credit card all over again anyways. So counterintuitive and idiotic it is beyond ridiculous
Brian Ecab could have been cleaner, but I was only using it for one day, so it didn’t really matter that much to me, but they were open got me in and out very friendly
Daniel DEveryone was very nice and attentive. The location has great customer service . UHaul however needs to add another grab handle on the left side of the truck .. should have 2. Tires on the truck needs replace for winter tread was low and we slid a few times and not a lot of snow just slushy. But the guys at Gulf were great!

Rebecca TAttempted to charge me for multiple days when I rented it for 4 hours. I returned the truck on time but they were closed. A mechanic was still inside with the lights out so he could attest to me being there at 3:45pm(drove off with the truck at noon). But then I get the bill charging me $59,85 for 2 extra days claiming I returned the truck days late?? I do not trust this garbage anymore and will never go back. I will be telling my friends and neighbors not to use them as well.
Cristina BI had no problems with the random gas station that my uhaul was, they were actually Great! Wasn't too pleased with the people at The Pleasant Hills Uhaul location though. There was a mix up and someone told they couldn't help me on the phone. Plus the uhaul itself was not meant for "big and tall" people. It did get the job done but it was an uncomfortable ride.

stephen GThe only issue that I have is that I did not need the insurance as I have insurance to cover my rentals and was charged for it.

Allam AI tried to do all transactions via phone and when I got to key code the directions were to see attendant. When I went in and the guy working was rude and not helpful. First he said he can't help me then when he reluctantly got up to open key box he wouldn't give me the key until I finished my transaction on phone. Wouldn't I have had the keys if I was given the code? He was just rude! I will never go back to that location.
Londa NThe back was not swept out and the fuel gauge does not work. I filled the tank to the brim upon return and was charged for 4 gallons of gas even though I only drove 7 miles. How do you use 4 gallons of gas while driving 7 miles. $25 was stolen from me.

georgette sThis is a small lot. I noticed my invoice had a $50 Cleaning Fee and when i called to inquire i was informed it was because i blocked the Dumpster. Told me it is in the comment section but i still can't find it. As someone who rents from UHaul all the time i would like a call from a uhaul rep.about this issue. 412-874-8217
Chuck DEven though I was late due to the snow storm we had in the last 12+ hours 03/12/2022 I had my reservations for 4 days at 9am sat. I did not cancel so I was coming my uhaul was not clean at all or ready meaning very dirty vehicle messed with my anxiety also when I got to my first stop to use the uhaul I had to use a broom to get snow off my truck also had to pour hot water on it so it could open because it was frozen shut the people there were okay but a tad bit useless being as though I’ve never been to that location I would have preferred any other pick up place than this one they should detail those trucks asap and get people a lil happier to do their jobs with full description I was a tad bit pissed off but I couldn’t afford to not use the truck.
Shierra ECharged me for two days of service when I returned the day I picked it up. I called corporate who said that was handled by the store. When I called the store the guy wouldn't even talk to me and said i had to talk to corporate. I called corporate back and they said this should not be happening. Go to another location.

LORI LI was told I wasn't allowed to park my vehicle in their lot. The truck was dirty and had stuff key in the cab. The windshield wipers were falling apart. After I left I called to find out the weight limit and after debating with them when they told me the didn't know they then told me it was 8000 lbs. I then found the correct weight limit in the truck, which was 4100 lbs. when I returned I was left sitting in the lobby for 20 minutes because the owner wasn't there. When the owner returned he was incredibly rude and charge me a $30 cleaning fee for 1 piece of plastic wrap left inside the back of the truck. I will never use this location again !

Vinothkumar Sstore person was very polite... i was in an out back in the same day, no discount, felt i was a little over priced, didn't go far , i understand if prices go up but 74 + 20 in gas that was 1/4 tank less than paper work, confused a little -should ask customer up front if they want the insurance -should make sure fuel guage is accurate on print out for customer -should ask customer if need blakets/or dolley if not with vehicle other than that great service!

DANIEL ZThe conditions of my uhaul were poor. Upon arriving to my location and opening the back, the conditions were filthy. We had to spend time cleaning the back of the truck prior to loading furniture because there was so much debris. The loading ramp was broken, and the experienced movers were unable to fix it. This led to dangerous conditions for them, as the ground was wet and they had to jump on/ off the truck. Highly disappointed
Lauren SI had trouble getting thru the online check in process, but I called the 800 number and they did a fantastic job assisting me throughout the entire process! Not all the equipment I needed was ready. The owner was able to find 2 furniture movers for me, but no dolly. I was quickly refunded for the dolly when I returned the truck.
