The gas refill was unfair. Basing it on the speedometer resulted in us paying $17 for 9,4 miles, despite the van's supposed mileage being 12 miles per gallon (that would have costed us $5 absolute max). This felt really frustrating, and it definitely undermined the integrity of the business from our perspective. If the van has unreliable mileage, that's not the customer's responsibility to cover. Merci.
CALE ANothing to improve, but I would like to say the lady who helped me at the front desk was very sweet and informative. I have not personally driven a van before, but her tips and advice were well appreciated to help me feel more confident with my move. Hope she has a wonderful rest of her week :)

Aiko TVery unhappy with digital rental experience. A person staffed the location but I had to take pictures and go through a lengthy process (that froze several times) to check out. Will try to avoid using. U-Haul ever again.

Billy LDon't double charge if the keys are dropped off within the timeframe mentioned, but then don't process it until the next day. I had the rental for less than 3 hours and was charged nearly $100. Absolutely ridiculous

So my pickup was delayed while I contacted people to make sure they were available to confirm me

Karyn BAbsolute professional service from this location. My reservation originally was at another location which turned out to be a terrible business that did not honor their business with customers at all. Thankfully I was able to change locations and get my move done thanks to Downtown Storage.

The problem came during drop-off - they said they would handle, but the proceeded to charge me for gas fill up (1,5 gallons, even after I put in 4 before for only a 32 mile trip?!) and charged for being late (I was early but they did not process the vehicle for 15 minutes).

Kellie M1. Van was almost brand new, so it was in very good condition. It had not been washed in a while, so it was quite dirty. 2. Manager insisted that Collision Damage Waiver was required, not optional, and gave me contact information for area manager with whom to take it up. If true that CDW is required, then advertise that way. If not, educate your staff.

Bianca CThe employee at the location did not know how to issue the rental that we reserved. We had to wait for almost 45 minutes. When we returned the vehicle the employee apparently did not know how to close out the rental and charge the card they had on file. Today we received an email telling us to pay a balance for this rental or we would be sent to collections. I sat on hold with you "customer service" for over an hour without anyone picking up. This whole experience is unacceptable. Especially conisdering the dozens of times I have rented from you over the past few years. After this week, we will no longer be using your service. I don't ever assume we will have a response since your "customer service" regarding this situation has been so poor. Goodbye.
Robert RVan inside the cab was dirty and looked like it was not cleaned in a while. There was a used mask sitting on the dashboard. Yuk. We used our own wipes to clean the inside. Someone needs to clean these vans with the virus around us.
Dennis SPick-up took quite a bit longer than anticipated as neither employee seemed to have ever worked at this location before, and were almost completely unfamiliar with locks, computer log-in, etc. Both were very friendly and accommodating, but this level of mismanagement is unacceptable, and in future I'll take my business elsewhere.
NATHANAEL LWonderful customer service start to finish. I called this location because of their great reviews and I wanted to speak to a person instead of reserving my truck online. Both on the phone and face to face these guys are the best. They take great care of their customers and as a result we had a stress free experience. I will keep coming back, thanks guys!
