We did run into a probelm here not with Dream Machine but with UHaul. As Dream Machine was totally up my bill at the last second the UHaul system raised the price almost $100. The employee at Dream Machine had to call customer service and your customer service would not fix it and tried to justify the last second price increase. The owner of Dream machine eventually spoke to the gentleman who handles his account to get the problem fixed. This took about an hour which threw my families schedule off for the rest of the day.

This location is old, dirty and really in poor repair. The rental lot isn't even paved and the trailer was in a bunch of mud. the office is really dirty and barely inhabitable. Someone from U-Haul should check it out. The guy renting the equipment was nice, but the location is poor.

The person who checked us in was nice and backed the trailer in for us. However, it was very crowded because a lot of people were returning to this location. We did not go inside the building, so I could not comment on if it was clean.

Waited for quite sometime to be attended. When it was our turn the gentleman called my husband my brother repeatedly even after being corrected. He also did bad math on the mileage after we told him that there was no way the 73 miles would get us to our location. Asked him to add 60 miles to the 102 miles that google estimated for a total of 162 miles. Some how he came up with 133 miles. Would not recommend this location ever. Guy was a mess.

Tony Hudson was a life saver. The store on Texas Ave. was a complete mess. I called the 800 and gave a full account to them, please note that this dealer made our move happen where the other store had successfully caused us a HUGE problem.

The owner of Dream Machine Auto Hobbie was very friendly; explained all costs in detail; gave me great directions on how to get around nearby road construction; upgraded my rental for the same price (because of an unanticipated emergency causing my 10' truck having to be rented to someone else who was in dire straits), and even gave me a military discount. Has anyone from U-Haul actually been to this location? It's out in the country, in a house. The person working at the front desk didn't know how to use the U-Haul program on his computer, so he had to have someone on the phone walk him through the entire process. He tried to force me to buy additional insurance, telling me it wasn't optional. I arrived early to pick up my trailer and the entire ordeal took 2 hours because of his incompetence. He finally got the trailer hooked up, and didn't have an apter for the trailer lights, so I had to unhook and drive back in to town and purchase one. I've never had to do this to rent a U-Haul. The rental place has always had these for customers to use. I lost an entire evening of moving because he didn't know how to even hook up a trailer. While I was gone buying the adapter for the lights, he must have called someone and asked them how to hook up a trailer because when I returned he was overly concerned with expressing to me that I needed to cross the chains on the trailer. He didn't even do that the first time he hooked it up. He just hooked the chains straight up to the truck. Just an overall poor experience. Wasted 2 hours of my life.

They charged me $20.00 extra for the safety brake. When I got to Ottawa I ask if that was a option and they said that is standard equipment, I feel this should be refunded and that place should lose there Uhaul support.
