Tara S.Squeaky belt. Felt scared the truck wouldn't maintain a speed above 55 mph as soon. As I reached 60 mph. The belt was so loud I felt as if it wouldn't make the trip Truck felt very shaky as if there was a trailer attached. If I hit a bump/ bridge overlay the truck shook left and right even at minimal speed. It was dirty upon pickup. I had to pull over and clean the inner windshield as when the sun hit all I saw was a blur due to the gunk on the inner windshield. I had to pull over and clean with windex just in order to see when I drove with the sun head on. Worst uhaul I've ever driven. This truck needs a fine tune inspection by the state. Felt very unsafe. And I've driven a 22 foot uhaul that felt more secure. Took 7 hours for which should have been a 4,5 hour trip. Not happy at all. I Will contact the BBB . I have the trucks I'd number. Over 600$ including gas. Just to feel unsafe. this is not ok

Bruno M.Our original pick up location would have been more convenient for us. We found out the day before we were to pick up the truck that we had to go to another location and a snowstorm was predicted for our pick up date. I light of the storm the manager allowed us to pick up the truck a day early and also adjusted our mileage for the extra distance (not charging for the extra distance to pick it up). So I would give UHaul good marks for accommodating us!

Joseph Z.After uhaul box delivered to port, renter needs to know they have to then pay for uhaul box to be delivered to their home. Quote does not include what was said house pick up From house to house. Should be explained better. Extra coat was additional $80 which was not included in contract.

TABARE N.The right front tire was 10lbs low and because it requires 81 psi, I was unable to fill it at any gas station. As a result the truck pulled to the right for my entire trip. I notified the place I dropped it off at so they could correct the problem. The truck was clean and ran well and surprisedly got 13 mpg and it was full of furniture.

Stephen A.I had no interaction with E Z Body Shop since the movers I hired through Uhaul picked up the Ubox. That's why a 3-star review...should've bee Not Applicable. Here's my review (1 star) I posted on the BBB website: We decided to try using a Ubox with moving help added at both ends. The first movers said they would be there with the Ubox at 11 am, but did not show until after 1. I had to call to see if they were even on their way. BUT, at least they had called me several days prior to confirm...I give them points for that and because they were 3 very nice young men. However, they did not know how to pack a Ubox securely and efficiently...I fully expect my stuff to be in a jumble when it arrives! Minus points for UHaul because, although they tell you to provide your own padlock, they do not tell you that the shank needs to be thin...we have rented plenty of UHaul trailers in the past and have a padlock that we use for those. That padlock did not fit...shank was too big and we ended up using a small combination lock...not very secure but better than nothing! Here's my real gripe: My box is supposed to be delivered tomorrow by the movers I selected (and paid for) through UHaul. They were one of the cheaper companies, but not the cheapest. By this morning I had still not received a call from them to set up a time so I called them..."number not accepting calls"??? I emailed them and waited all day for a reply...nothing. HOW AM I GOING TO GET MY STUFF?? Chatted with UHaul who told me, "Looks like they are currently on an ad hold (whatever that means) due to no shows." Me: "So, a hold due to no shows means they are not showing up to do the work?" UHaul: "For other customers, correct. Provider can still complete the jobs though but you are welcomed to switch providers." Hmmm...apparently switching providers is my ONLY option. So, I get a refund credit from UHaul and have to go in and hire other movers...cheapest one is now ~$200 MORE!!! UHaul needs to take some responsibility for the movers they have on their list! This looks very bad for them! Follow Up: The new movers I hired were good and efficient, but they were forced to wait about 2 hours at the pickup location because the person that handles that transaction could not be located. They were supposed to arrive with the Ubox at 3 pm but did not make it until about 5. Movers...good! Uhaul...terrible!!

John T.The staff at this location is extremely rough around the edges. I pulled into the parking lot and before even stepping out of my vehicle a woman aggressively stated that "if you're here for a uhaul I'm not ready yet so your gonna have to wait!" The "customer service part was severely lacking at this location and having to politely deal with an abrasive and surly attitude were not the way I planned to spend over close to $500 that morning and be on my way to my destination 400 miles away. Thankfully, a truck is a truck and business is maintained out of necessity in the case of moving trucks but if you can afford to find a different location close enough to you I would highly recommend avoiding the staff here.

TRICIA K.Just make sure Sue is working… she was absolutely wonderful. I had some unfortunate issues with the return time and she was so kind, understanding and willing to work with me. I kept in contact with her over the issues and that was the key to a wonderful working relationship. I usually deal with another Uhaul dealer but after my experience dealing with Sue, I might just have to consider switching dealers. And she deserves many personal kudos from Uhaul because she had to go out and hook up the trailer to the truck in the rain and never complained once about having to do it. So she definitely deserves some sort of personal recognition from Uhaul…even if it's just a Thank You note for the great job that she's doing. I know I will personally be doing something for her kindness, understanding, cooperation and overall friendliness toward me.
