Place was understaffed. It was odd to finish reservation while staff was attending to customers. Normally this is okay. But with Covid19, it made me uneasy to have staff go back on forth with customers.

The gas stations representative was not helpful and rude for no explanation. I arrived there at 8:10, asking for a rental he stated that he has no vehicles available. Send me to another location down the street. There at the another location the representative was wonderful and was able to make a reservation, unfortunately it was back at the original location where I first went to. Harry ( at original location ) didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience and waste of time. Please train your staff on proper customer service.

Clean the inside out and sanitize. Still had the smell and boot tracking of horse manure. Other than that it was an excellent experience as far as rental companies go. Very courteous and efficient.

Vehicle we reserved was not available on date and time specified on contract. Upon arrival, check in took 10 minutes longer than normal. We had to use a smaller vehicle than we agreed to. The vehicle we used pulled hard to the right, had no light in the box, and no ramp. Both staff I spoke with were very pleasant.

I have been renting U-Haul for some time. The experience I had was so terrible I would never rent from this location. I would like to share my experiences to a manager or district manager so that will never happen again

Worst customer service, and completely incompetent employees. Tried to get me to pay $1100 because they insisted I drove 2500+ miles, when I drove 300 miles. I ended up hiring movers anyways, and the Uhaul ended up being more than half the price of 2 moving men, a truck, and a 4 hour moving window. So not worth the money and hassle. Will never use Uhaul again.

This Arco on san pablo dam road the owner was just awful ! He had such a bad attitude! I will not recommend anyone to rent a u haul from this place.Uhaul should remove all their trucks from this location !

This reservation was a disaster. I Was on the phone for 2 days just trying to figure out where my rental was actually being serviced from, and I had booked it a month earlier with a 4 am reservation and the place I was sent to didn’t open until 7am. I had to cancel my moving help and rebook that’s for later in the day.

Rude employee. Cleaned UHAUL when returning and employee states we didn't clean enough when it was swept through thoroughly. Used personal broom to resweep and employee got mad we were sweeping on the UHAUL/gas station property and yelled at us. Employee was the only one working and was very slow.

The van had some debris. The customer service rep went ahead and took care of it immediately. This made my experience that much more positive. The check in process was quick and easy. The fact that this is an Arco station made the fueling process fast and painless. I will recommend this location.

I want the rest of my money back. I used the online app for the first time and won't recommend it. I was suppose to pay at most $70 and I got charged $334.44 and when I went to return the van they said it would be $125 which I think is too much for less than 30mi driven and I have still yet to receive the rest of my money back which should have been $215.00. I want my $215 returned.

If you charge 30 dollars for all day and then charge me an additional 30 dollars for same day, it is false advertising. I will never use uhaul again, highly disappointed and I will make sure family and friends will never use uhaul again neither. I’ll use Penske or some other company moving forward.

This is by fa my favorite location and I only go to another location if this location is out of trucks. I rent often (two or three times a month) for my business and each time I go there the employees at this Arco are very welcoming, I'm greeted well and if there is any delay they are very apologetic. I also notice how well they treat their other customers.

Improve location by having better customer friendly employees, whose primary focus is on u haul not another business which happens to be a gas station. It was a distraction as well as a conflict of interest. They need to be sure they're familiar with UHAUL procedure and policy.

This location was not the original location that I was suppose to pick up my truck to rent. This was actually the 3rd location, because whomever did the scheduling for my original pickup which was in Vallejo did not notify me ahead of time to let me know that the truck wasn't available in the Vallejo store. I was then told that I would have to go to Pinole to pick up the truck. The clerk advised me of the address and gave me the phone number to call the Pinole store (Chevron Station). Tried to call, no answer. Once I drove 10 miles or more to Pinole, I get to the store and the clerk says that there is no one to help me and "ALL" 7 of trucks that were parked outside did not work. I asked what did he mean by did not work, he stated that something was wrong with all of them! I was very upset and I spoke with your customer service rep who informed that they were sorry for my being inconvienced by the stores. The CS rep stated that you all were going to refund $50.00 and 30mile extra was added to the total of the mileage. However, I get to Pinole the clerk says the vehicle is on full. Well, so we thought. Once I got to Carmichael, Ca. I filled the truck up with $45.00 and the gas hand went all the way over pass the "F". All in all the vehicle was never full it was actually 3/4 of a tank filled when I got the truck. I took a photo and you all can review the photo as well. My experience on this day was a morning from hell. I should have been emailed the night before or at least a phone call stating that there were some issues in the rental of the truck. You all need to do better when it comes to communicating with your customers!!

The truck was dirty inside and out the windshield wasn’t even washed there was no ramp to walk up or to the wheel up anything, which made it much more difficult to move the big things.

I rent trucks all the time and this by far is my favorite place. They recognize me each time I go there and do their best to get me in and out as fast as possible. It is always great to be acknowledged and recognized when you walk into a place of business.

The two right tires of the truck had no air and were missing the valve stem caps so we kept having to refill the Air. So sad that the trucks have gone to crap because years ago the truck were in so much better shape.

The person who was helping was very rude and didn’t informed me about cancelling my reservation. When I returned the car and i got home, i didn’t notice the the guy over charged me of extra 20 miles and when i called back to tell them about it, only thing he said call customer service and hang up on me. This is the second time this person hangs up on me when i called the day before i pick up my truck to ask why was my van changed to truck without informing me and he said that this is the only one available, and was told that either i pick it up or I don’t then hang up on me again! Poor customer service. Overall I wouldn’t recommend to any body coming back to this place and i will not come back here anymore!

They had nothing available once I arrived I took lyft all the way there they then sent me to another location that they said they verified had what I needed took lyft there and they were booked took lyft back! Then they ended up still not having what I needed I ended up with a bigger truck and no Dollie!!!!!!! Which I needed badly this was the worst experience ever for an already shitty moving situation!!!!!! Horrible I just wanted to cry

I picked up the van with an empty gas tank and a lot of dirt in the back. I brought the van back and was told by the employee I needed to sweep the back. I was also charged $8 for fuel and was told they will fix it and email me. I received nothing

The representative asked me about the drop off location and I mentioned the specific city and drop off location several times, but the representative chose a Mountain View location despite me saying Homestead 76 in Cupertino several times. I didn’t understand the purpose of express check in and choosing my location of drop off beforehand if the representative at El Sobrante Arco had to choose my drop off location again on his own computer. Also, the Uhaul was parked near what it appeared to be a dumpster and the right front wheel was surrounded by junk. It required for us to remove the junk in order to operate the vehicle.

The appliance hand-truck I booked was not available when I picked up the trunk. I had to discard a refrigerator because of this. Also, the trunk was park inside the parking lot and it was really hard for me to back into the busy street.

I requested a 15 or 17 foot truck more than 2 weeks in advance and my request was confirmed, yet when I arrived to pick it up they did not have that size truck and I was forced to take a 10 foot truck which was too small.

Please please contact the customer if the vehicle is unavailable. I tried to call but didn't get an answer so I drove there 1hr after I was supposed to pick up the truck and NO TRUCK. My choices were a 10 ft truck or a 26 ft truck. I ended up renting TWO 10 ft trucks. I had movers arriving from Sacramento so I had to make a choice and a 26 ft truck was not an option. Moving is stressful enough without added unnecessary situations. A phone call would have made a difference. GO RYDER!!!

The location I requested had an office, packing material for sale and dedicated staff. This location shares staff with a gas station. The guy who helped us was wonderful but his attention was split between u haul and gas customers

Rude poor and abysmal service, we rent from U-Haul five to six times a week, only our second time from this location. The rep at the counter totally ignored us, we tire to explain a simple billing change and he acted like we where there to rob him. Then he refused to even try to meet our needs.

The cab smelt like urine. I reported to Nick, and he provided me with an air freshener. The tow dolly had a broken ramp, we had to use a strap to secure it.
