The vehicle was clean, but seemed like the previous rental smoked in the vehicle. As soon the air conditioning came on there was horrible smell of tobacco smoke.

so when I first went to check on her U-Haul he told me that the U-Haul will be available on Friday I didn't even know that I needed to make reservations. when I got there on Friday I was told that I need to make reservations but I don't know that because three days before the man was so busy on his cell phone he was just telling me to just come back on Friday on the ground be available had to argue to Uhaul, Damn when I dropped it off he was leaving and he close the door on us and told us to go to keys on the counter where anybody can access the keys and take the U-Haul I had to literally stuff the keys under the door It was a bad experience

Easy and fast. The equipment was mostly clean -- clean enough. The back tire did not have enough air.

Ensure that the vehicle is clean. They gave me a vehicle that was covered in dirt on the inside of the truck. There was sticky stuff all over the center console and when I brought it to their attention he came out to look and said he would put a note for when I dropped it off instead of making sure I got into a clean rental truck. When I came to return the truck, they told me I went over 15 miles! I had to take my dirt bike to the shop across the street from the usual rental company and my house was 2 miles each way! At the very most, it was maybe 7 miles. It was my fault for not taking pictures of the odometer, but this was out of control. This places should NOT be renting any cars out as they cannot maintain them properly or honestly. I have photos of the filthy vehicle if anyone needs proof of how bad they gave the truck to me.

Switched vehicle to a older fe vehicle at a location in which their key drop box had been broken into so even though I reserved for 12 hours I had to return before the gas station closed. Thanks for wasting my morning lowing up my schedule and trying to get me into a van that had used toothpicks and snot rags. The vans Jack had been removed and the nut that held it in place was missing so it was rolling around in back. 3 or 4 pieces of metal rolling around shredding my stuff. UHAUL AN ECONOLINE VAN IS NOT THE SAME AS A TRANSIT VAN. ON YOUR WEB SITE YOU DONT LIST DIMENSIONS FOR THE ECONOLINE. IF I RESERVE, RESERVE A TRANSIT VAN THERE HAD BETTER BE A TRANSIT VAN OTHERWISE SCRUB THE WORD “RESERVATION” FROM YOUR WEB SITE. IT SHOULD SAY YOU GET WHATEVER WE FEEL LIKE GIVING YOU AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT TOUGH

All the check engine lights were on. There was gum on the window sill. There was garbage in the bed of the vehicle. Steering wheel was sticky and dirty. I had clean and wipe everything down. By the time I returned the vehicle, it wouldn't go into reverse, then I had the representative mansplain to me how to put it into gear and drive. Other issues, but that was the main situation.

The truck smelled like a smoker was just in it and the steering wheel was dirty and sticky. I am very disappointed that during a Covid 19 pandemic, that i was rented a dirty truck. We had to pull over and get wipes to clean the truck ourselves. 61 for a filthy truck- no okay!

Aoi was very rude. She tried to charge me twice. It took her over 30 minutes to refund my credit card. The 15 foot that's she told me was reserved really wasn't and she rented it to another person. When I called to ask questions she hung up on my and wouldn't answer the phone. I had to drive back to the location. She is very unprofessional.

You did not have a dollies or straps to tie down the furniture. Hiw are you in compliance with covid 19. No sanitizer were available no one wipe the inside of the truck with disinfectant. We did it ourselves.

Terrible. Was given truck with 1/4 tank gas and was told if we refilled tank ourselves we would be reimbursed. We were reimbursed 15 $on a 122 $fill up. Truck broke down after one load and entire day spent waiting for repair. Was compensated with a second day, for which I had to take time off work, when I returned the truck the rental price was higher than stated, rather than being calculated according to mileage. Verbal agreements not honored. I ended up spending 207 $total with gas and rental for what was supposed to be a one day local truck rental.

Online when you book the truck it says the drop off location is (optional). Allowing the customer to believe that it is not necessary at the time of booking. Then after the truck is book online it does not let you edit the drop off location. We were charged for a wrong location charge which I don't think is fair at all. Please go through the process online with mobile pick up and see the difficulty for the customer. I would like my wrong location charge reviews and reimbursed. Please reach out to me regarding this charge.

Customer service at this location was terrible. It is attached to a gas station so there is a lot of things going on. My time was pushed back an hour. They didn't have the dolly I reserved and told there weren't any dollys available. My sister found one in the parking lot and I had to wait 15 mins for the woman to find the key to unlock it. They didn't have the furniture pads either. I reserved my equipment well in advance so it baffles me that nothing was there.Then I was told if I wasn't back by the time the gas station closed I would be charged extra even though my time was pushed back by uhaul. It was just very unprofessional and the customer service was very poor. Everyone there had a terrible attitude. I will never rent from here again. Moving is already a stressful time you don't need the added headache.

The El Sobrante location was not the problem, the problem I had was with the Vallejo location on Solano as this was where I thought I was supposed to pick up the truck, from there things went downhill someone dropped the ball. I got to the Solano location 5 min before opening to only find out that my pickup site was in El Sobrante. I dont have a problem with the El Sorbrante because the customer service was good and wasnt their fault. Who ever processed my reservations was at fault and I didn't appreciate the run around that I was given by this company. I was never told of my location of pick up until the day of. The pick up location didn't have my dollies or blankets that I requested so I had to drive back to the Vallejo location to get them and they still didn't have the blankets. then I was overcharged after I dropped off the truck for unexplained expenses. I will never ever use Uhaul ever again. One other issue I had was that I requested moving help and they never showed up or contacted me such poor service.

I've picked up at other locations before and always had great service and no issues. This location is the worst. I was quoted one thing on my reservation online and when I got there the man at the register charged me far more and was not happy that I "interrupted" their normal business which is a gas station. I won't be back. I'll pick up at my usual location next time far in advanced. Only reason we came here is because everyone else was out of the van we needed.

Upon arrival to the location, I was told the truck that I had reserved two days prior was quote “unavailable” for having been “returned without a key”. This struck me as confusing, so I called to have my reservation moved. After slight investigation from associate “Susan” over the phone, we found that “Sean” was the area field manager and could have a key brought down. We were unable to reach Sean, after two attempts at contacting him. Upon further investigation, an unnamed man arrived at the location and was able to access the store through a service garage in the rear. He then, suspiciously out of my sight, “found” the key in the back. After this, the store clerk “Harry” was rude, short, and insensitive to the inconvenience their negligence caused me.

I ordered a dolly online and was under the impression that it would be placed in the cargo van. I was charged for it and it was not in the van when I arrived at my moving location. On my return I asked for a refund and was told that it was my job to ensure the dolly was with the van and no refund was given.

When I before I returned the truck, I put gas in it. When the person checked it, he said it was not at the same gage as before I left. The amount of gas I put in went over the amount that was in the before I left the store. I drove 35 miles and I put ten dollars worth of gas in the truck. (3,72 gallons of gas) That was more than enough. I had the same problem on a previous rental. I was charged for an extra 1,5 gallons of gas. I am not satisfied with how this turned out.

I was charged for refueling when I spent my own money at this location's on-site gas station. I was also charged for a cleaning fee. I took the time out and removed the bed liner from the van and washed it down because it had dust on it, but was still charged a cleaning fee. What a crook. Beware: during this social distancing, businesses are trying to do no-contact options. Make sure you take photos before and after because it appears some companies are trying to make a quick buck off the situation.

The gas stations representative was not helpful and rude for no explanation. I arrived there at 8:10, asking for a rental he stated that he has no vehicles available. Send me to another location down the street. There at the another location the representative was wonderful and was able to make a reservation, unfortunately it was back at the original location where I first went to. Harry ( at original location ) didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and waste of time. Please train your staff on proper customer service.

Clean the inside out and sanitize. Still had the smell and boot tracking of horse manure. Other than that it was an excellent experience as far as rental companies go. Very courteous and efficient.
