It is impossible to find this location. There is no street signageat this location stating this is a UHaul operator and the building is BEHIND other stores. It is invisible from the street. You definitely NEED BETTER SIGNAGE out on the street!

Office is located too inside, not properly visible when driving on US-46. When driving on highway, it can easily be missed. No "U-Haul" sign boards. Aslo, too many potholes on roadway leading to office.

The trailer had a screw in the left rear tire and was always hotter than the rest, figure it was leaking air. The left license plate/right fender lights were out. Otherwise, everything went well. Great people!!! Tony, Adam, and Mike are all pleasant to deal with and very patient.

I was disappointed to learn the day before my rental that a 26 foot truck I reserved was not available. The CSR offered a 20 foot truck at the same location or a 26 foot truck if I go to Patterson NJ, which is largely not a safe area to travel to. While I appreciate the $50 refund, it would have been better if uhaul deliver the truck from Patterson to Parsippany. I recognize stuff happens but a 20 foot truck was not enough. I had to make additional last minute arrangements. Thank you.

GO DIRECTLY TO Eagle automotive and truck rental are EXCELLENT they're very knowledgeable kind and take care of you immediately. It took about 10 minutes to reserve the truck I needed. I CAN'T SAY THE SAME FOR UHAUL CUSTOMERS SERVICE. THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO DEAL WITH. THEY GIVE YOU INADEQUATE INFORMATION. I FOUND THEM TO BE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT.

They told me that one of my lights were out on the tow dolly and they just said go but I asked to hook up to other one in the lot to see if the lights were good, they just told my door worry about it and go. It was almost closing time and they were all rushing to get out and go home. Then I called U-Haul itself and they just kept me on hold while trying to relocate a trailer then finally some one picked up and said hello? I said hello. Then they hung up on me. Wasn’t able to use the trailer at all wasted my money. Worst experience ever. Was very upset. Should treat customers with care and respect

As I was making the reservation online, it disappeared from the screen and never received a reservation confirmation. I tried to re-do it, but then there were no trucks or vans available any longer at this location. I then proceeded to reserve for pick up in Mine Hill which indicated availability. When I went there to pick up, I was told there was nothing available eventhough I had a reservation confirmation showung that location. The person at the office was unable to help me - said that u-haul farms out the reservations to the next available location where there are trucks even if its not in the area. He said my reservation pick up was Toms River (90 miles away). I had given up the hope of a rental that day, however about an hour later, I received a call from Adam at the Parsippany location to see when I was picking up the rental. I was so surprised and confused after all the mix up earlier in the day. He was very helpful and understanding of my frustration. Truly appreciated his help.

We went to pick up our truck rental and the man at the desk said that on their computer it says that the truck has been rented out and can't be given to us. Even though the truck was in fact still on that lot. He recommend we give U-Haul a call and speak to someone about the incident. In total, from arriving to the location in Parsippany and finally able to get our truck was about an hour. In addition to that, we weren't supplied our moving equipment. When I called about the equipment he said they only had 1 or 2 of the items we needed. So, we didn't even bother to go back to the location to use the items. I don't know what can be corrected except to deal with the location directly about customer service work.

The guy who rented the truck to me told me not to worry about the $20 service fee and just put the key in their after hours drop box. I was charged anyway. I called and the manager picked up. When I tried to explain what happened, he cut me off in a condescending tone and disrespectful words.

Your web site and App are terrible. I went through all of the steps to pick up my truck early and had to wait until the location was open because of the web site and app. I was told the day before that the business opened at 8am and Uhaul at 8:30 and that there would be no problem taking care of me at 8 which was the time I wanted to pick up. Since the web site would not allow me to pick up I had to wait until the person opening got there. He got in at 8:10 which wasn't a very big deal to me because I understand that sometimes things happen. What I was not ok with was his attitude. The guy was an asshole. He had been an ass on the phone with me the day before over the phone when I called before making my reservation. I would have just marked it up to he was having a bad day had it only happened once but twice a day apart to me means the guy needs to work on his customer service skills. The first rude incident was when I called to see if they had the truck I needed and he said no, to go to the web site or call the 800 number to see what location near me had what I needed. No problem there. I went to the web site and it gave me the same location that I had called and was told to call the 800 number or go to the web site. To confirm what the web site said, I called the 800 number and they gave me the same information. So I called the location back and told him that both the 800 number and the web site gave me this location as a pick up location. He said "well the web site is wrong". I guess a truck got delivered there because I picked up at that location but it was about 45 minutes later than I had scheduled because the web site did not work, the app did not work, the employee was 10 minutes late to work and also told me that Uhaul didn't open until 8:30 and there were computer problems on their end as well. I will say that his attitude changed though when he saw that I was not going to take his attitude. I let him know that I was told the day before that they would be happy to check me in at 8am if I didn't want to mess with the web site or app and that him being 10 minutes late was not my problem. I only gave a somewhat positive review because I feel pretty sure that he is not the owner of the business and because the other two people that I had talked to there were very nice.

We rented the truck for 5 got there at 535 they closed at 5:30. We were in traffic took over an hour to get there when I called they said to down load the U-Haul app. My phone had no reception in the area so it wouldn’t work . The customer service was not helpful and no friendly . Called back to gave me to someone else that was excellent service and put us in touch with someone that got us the truck waiting for us.plus there wasn’t a drop off charge for a different place that I asked about . Put I did ask why it was charged so much they said it a charge the U-Haul adds on . So it is a different type of drop off but “did say it that way “so lesson learned I will pick up and drop off same place.

The supplies I ordered online were not available at that Location but I didn’t know that until i got there. The online ordering process should not accept my order and payment if it can’t be fulfilled. I needed a furniture dolly and a dozen furniture pads. The location did not have a dolly and only had 4 pads. This made my move very complicated.

The pickup and drop-off for my U-Haul rental at this location was great. Both Adam and Anthony whom helped me that day made it quick and very easy. They were both helpful to go over everything I needed to know about the truck and trailer. Next time I need to rent a U-Haul I would definitely use this location as it is very convenient. After hours check out should be made simple. I dropped my key in the box without knowing I have to take pictures of the parts of the truck and answer a survey to be able to checkout. I ended up taking pictures of the outside of the truck so I could proceed to checkout under the rain, and answer a long survey. Surveys should not be included to be able to finish checkout. This should be done the following day. The process should have been made easier like taking pictures of your milleage and location after you turn off your engine and then share it. That's it.

I rented another 17 foot truck from another Uhaul dealer just two days before to move convention items, the cost was $29.95 per day and $.99 per mile. Two days later and another Haul location on the other side of Parsippany charges me @29.95 per day and $1.99 per mile. Guess who I'm not going back to.

I had visited the U-haul rental at Morris Plains to book a 10 footer truck for August 3. I wanted the pick up from that location as I am a Morris Plains resident and had to move a couple items within Morris Plains. I had made this very clear to Steve who did the reservation for me. However when I arrived at the Morris Plains location on Aug 3rd to pick up the truck, I was told that the truck was waiting for me at the Parsippany location. Steve from Morris Plains office said that he didn't know why it was changed to the Parsippany location. He blamed it on the U-haul traffic team. However, it appeared that the booking was scheduled for the Parsippany office..but they didn't want to take responsibility for the situation. This was a very disappointing experience as we had travel to the other end of the township to collect and drop off the vehicle. Not to mention the extra mileage costs of at least 10 miles that I had to incur due to the negligence. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.
