There was a Marijuana roach in the cup holder of the truck. It took me nearly 6 hours to navigate the app and actually get the truck. Can someone let me know when I will get my deposit back.

My rental was dirty and the back storage had mud, leaves and tree limbs in it.
Cody WEast Walker Wrecker was excellent. As far as U-Haul, some work needs to be done. I rented a trailer. The trailer tongue could not be picked up my me or 2 gentlemen at East Walker Wrecker. One of the gentlemen had to get a floor jack to lift for the tongue so it could be attached to the ball on the truck . While I understand that the new braking system is for safety purposes, the trailer jack should still be a necessity. Merci!

JASON RPerson running the pick up did not do a walk through with me of the vehicle. Did not understand how to properly process the pick up. Made an issue when I tried to turn it in and forced me to do the turn in online instead of handling it in office. Truck cab had roaches(i did not get pictures).
KRISTOFER WThe location and equipment was fine, However the app was a nightmare.. incredibly slow and tedious.. I had full bars of 5g service and the pictures still took almost 10 minutes each to load, after I had taken them. The app needs a major update and revamp.

Lilliya FThe only thing I had a problem with is your Mobile app not allowing me to show my location to check in or return the truck. I use a Tracfone and had my mobile data and hot spot turned on. But I was able to bypass the app by switching my reservation to another day, doing the check-in at the service location counter and calling the customer service line on the return.

CLARENCE cIt was not made clear that the rate was a flat rate versus per day rate, because it was a one way rental. I turned it in within 24 hours and was billed for the entire amount. To me, that seems unfair.

Sharron HI've used U-haul for years. Love there service. This location was my favorite. Beautiful town. Owners on site. They were great! Office had Beautiful country murals on all the walls. Best experience ever!
Kathy RDrop off location was closed at drop off, even though hours state 9:00 am - 4:00 am. U Haul was dropped off at 6:00 pm. Tried to do online drop off but I was informed by the establishment the next morning that the Metal building prevented location finder. Called establishment phone number and talked with after hours lady whom insisted that I had to do location finder. Called the establishment the next morning and was informed they were short staffed and therefore was only operating half days and that she was checking in UHaul then. Got a call 2 hours later that truck was dirty on the outside (it had been raining and the road I was on was muddy) She stated that I should have washed the truck and now I would have to pay a 100 cleaning fee. I am not pleased with UHaul rental and will never rent from them again. There are a lot of hidden unexpected fees. So not worth the price of renting.

Luther CThe lady was very nice but did not have the equipment I reserved. The utility dolly was replaced with an appliance dolly and the blankets were in attic storage space disorganized because the truck was apparently used that morning and the cleaning had not been completed in the truck thoroughly. I didnt think much of it until the drop off location said I was going to be charged for having the incorrect dolly and missing blankets. My fault for not checking the cargo area, but when I am paying for a service, I expect more from Uhaul.

MELONEY EI rented a 6 x 12 cargo trailer. The equipment was in good condition and I had no problems towing. The trailer did not have a tongue jack and I had to use a portable hydraulic jack to hook and un-hook the trailer from the truck. The addition of a tongue jack would be a great and necessary improvement. If I had not had a hydraulic jack with me I would have been stuck.

David MI will never use UHAUL again!!! This overall experience was HORRIBLE. I was told someone would be contacting me concerning my issues and that has yet to be done. I was sent to 4 different locations for pick up by your employees and upon arrival I was not able to be properly served until the 5th one. At every location the people who handled your UHAULs had nothing positive to say about the way your company and I guess I am a victim to what everyone else has experienced also. You needed to communicate better with your franchises concerning availabilities. Well...one f your rep told me they confirmed avaliabilty but when I got there they knew nothing and had not taken a call from anyone at UHAUL although I was put on hold for them to contact the store. This happened at 2 locations I visited. I have been overcharged and charged for items I did not request. My rental was reserved for 8:00am and was not fulfilled until after 3:00pm and it was at a location 45 miles from the original one reserved. By the time I received the rental I had driven over 150 miles to get it. I was quoted a price of around $120 and 0,4 a mile to pick up in Birmingham and return in Jasper to begin with. I was also given additional miles for driving all around the state to different locations that you sent me to. You changed my entire reservation and charged me otherwise and I wish to be compensated for this experience. I was given a $50 credit but I don't feel that is sufficient especially with me begin overcharged also. I was told by your rep that the charges would stay the same due to my inconvenience and my entire day being wasted. I would appreciate it if someone would reach out to me concerning this these issues ASAP.

Ruel PThis location states" its a requirement to take the Safe Movers insurance when it is an option that is offered by Uhaul". I have Full coverage insurance. When I called back to discuss that I spoke to customer service at 1-800-Go Uhaul, safe movers is an option, basically the owner called me a "liar", that I never discussed insurance with him, hung up on me. I in return called back, quoted the conversation verbatim that he and I had prior to the rental reservation , he then stated you are correct we did have that conversation. However, I was told that's their policy by the female employee that they require everyone at time of rental to get Safe Movers insurance. Also, I explained that I had rented a U-haul the previous weekend at another location that didn"t require after showing proof of insurance.
