The truck was visually clean and seemed well maintained but the truck ran as poorly as any box truck I've ever driven and I've driven many such trucks. The engine has obviously not been maintained well. It was a struggle to get it into gear, especially trying to get it into reverse. The engine ran so clunky that I'm sure it cost me much more in fuel than it should have. Also, the brakes need maintenance. I understand to expect differences between an empty and a full truck but this trucks brakes were much more dangerous than anyone could expect. Poor experience that actually put my personal safety at risk.

Difficult to use, fee upon fee, $185. 24hrs don't be fooled by the side of the truck!
Elizabeth WestEconosave's location is terrible for two reasons: 1) the office itself is in a building with various other businesses, making it difficult to locate. Also, they don't have a sign for their business on the outside of the building. 2) the econosave building location has spotty Inter tent signal. My friend and I both had trouble accessing the uhual website and app bc the signal was not very good.

Under a quarter of a tank of gas, drop off terrible no distinguishing sign for I haul it company name so left it in unplowed parking lot at the address. Jason WardI had ordered a hand truck which was not in the truck and the pick up site was not open at 8am on Saturday. Calling customer support all they could so is credit me for the missing hand truck there was no offer for another hand truck at another location. This made my moving experience extremely difficult having to carry everything by hand. I had even went to the location earlier in the week to check on the rental and was assured all would be ready on Saturday. I was embarrassed during the move struggling with hand carrying the entire contents a log distance from the loading area.

Nicholas LefevreIt seemed like the mobile pickup and dropoff worked well once I borrowed someone's phone that was a 2021 model. My phone was a 2019 model (Apple SE), and it struggled to use the in app pictures that were required.
Justin BartholomewThis location was not an official U-Haul stop and we had to go there because our reservation was transferred after having no equipment at our original stop. When we go there we were told that we can just take the equipment if we could hook up the trailer. No one updated our reservation and some U-Haul personnel followed up with us after to create a new contract. Overall this location seemed unorganized and a bit unsure as to how they were going to finish up the task.
Katherine Santulli6/16/21 Plaistow location had no signage for business from road. Finally found it an office building with multiple businesses. The room was like walking in a small foul smelling closet and very unprofessional. The return service did not accommodate using a phone number. Not everyone uses online or has a smartphone to text.. What happened to telephone customer service ??? When I called to talk to someone about truck that was returned three hours after I rented it and because I could not use the online/texting Uhaul Share to do the return. I called and was told I had to talk to the Plaistow location and person that answered told me the employee at the Plaistow location was now on vacation and nothing he could do. Really?! Never mind make sure you get gas you used before returning. I was charged$19 for quarter tank. Will never ever rent from Uhaul again. First and last time I will use this business. Consumer Beware!

david SHUKERThis was the second drop off location given to me because the first location didn't exist. This location was hard to locate because the only sign indicating it was a drop off is the size of a stop sign set back off the road behind buildings. There were no envelopes or forms available to fill out at the location. Snow was piled high around the drop box and was not easy to access. There were no personnel there to help.

John TompkinsI picked up the truck with 1/4 tank so I returned the truck with the fuel gauge just over 1/4 tank, maybe the needle touching 1/4 tank but on the + side of it. Then I get billed an extra $52 for 'fuel service' and their "graph" showing that I left it with less than 1/8 tank. Complete BS lie!! I should have taken a picture of the fuel gauge before I left but shame on me, lesson learned. I would not use the Plaistow location again.
