Equipment wasn’t in truck and we had to pick it up at a U-Haul Center down the road but mobile pick up was easy to use.

HAROLD GThe truck is really old and clunky. It did not drive particularly smooth, and there was some food on the floor left from the previous driver. Not a terrible experience by any means, but certainly could improve. I also did not like the online check-in. It was a little cumbersome andtwitchy. Got my truck about 40 minutes after I wanted to because the app was not cooperating.
Darin MMy rental was due back at 7 am but the location wasn't open until 10. So I went a day earlier because Google said it was open until 4pm. But it was actually closed all day Sunday.
Lorin EHow would you feel if you requested a rideshare and when the driver arrived, the first thing they told you is, they needed to get gas before they could drop you off? Moving is stressful. Most of your clients are using your equipment to move. There is no excuse for any of your vehicles to be below half a tank of gas when a new client rents out one of your vehicles. When I picked up one of your vans, the fuel level was on 'E'. I wasn't sure if the van was going to make it to the gas station. The last thing I needed to worry about was if the vehicle I was told would be guaranteed ready when I picked it up was going to need roadside assistance because it ran out of fuel. The van I rented was not ready. That is unacceptable. I should get $50 back. That is how much fuel I purchased. The exterior and interior of the van was extremely filthy when I picked it up. I am not sure if it's from previous renters or the guys at the auto shop I picked the van up from. The guy I checked in with was nice. He didn't seem to care to go through the check-in process with me. If he had done that he would have seen how filthy the van was before I checked it out. Thankfully, when I called U-Haul and spoke to Jennifer, she assured me I wouldn't be charged any extra fees. I was concerned that my check in photos were not saved to my contract. Overall, dealing with you all ones stressful, complicated, and I am so glad I don't have to use your services again anytime soon. I hope the van gets cleaned so the next person doesn't feel disgusted using it.

michael tGasoline tank had a hole in it. I think self-seeve Uhaul locations need more over sight. Besides this delay, customer service was amazing.
MICHAEL SGas was not filled up to 1/8. I was on empty when I picked up the truck.
Cameron LThe app froze up and it left me wondering if I'd get the truck. After 15 minutes it finally worked. They did not provide blankets or the dolly in the truck. I went to another location and waited in line to be told they didnt have blankets. Not sure if they had a dolly. They had a line of customers and two slow customer service people. The pick up process was bad.
Russell MWhen I went to drop off my trailer there was no one there to receive it. I called the 800 number They could not get a hold of the owner. I had to back the trailer up which I'm not comfortable with I had to unhitch the trailer by myself which almost broke my back. Unless I go to a U-Haul shop I will not go to an independent dealer again I would not recommend it. Not happy at all! Will probably go with Penske next time.

Reo CI didn't appreciate having my entire deposit taken. Although I was there at the indicated time of return the online process of returning the truck took longer then anticipated. Fifteen minutes to be exact therefore causing my return time to be delayed. Resulting in U-Haul charging me $40 + another days insurance coverage. That's ludicrous in my opinion. If I'm there with the truck but the return process takes too long due to pictures, questions & making sure everything is where & how it should be. Then at minimal allow a 15 minute grace period or shorten the return process. Especially since it states the return process takes about 2 minutes. Not my idea of good customer service at all.
Lisa CPerson was late opening by over 20 mins. No explanation was given as to there only being 1/4of a tank of gas. Most places are full when you pick up. I did not receive instructions till too late to follow upone return of the van. Receipt came over a week later. Will not use U Haul again. Not impressed!
Pamela FThe hours online state 11-7. I set my drop off time for 6:30, but when I arrived it was closed and locked up. No one was there. Because I hadn't scheduled an after hours drop off, I was not provided with the lockbox code and was unable to leave the key. I had to return the next day to do so at a great inconvenience.

ALFRED BEddie's was very easy to access picking up and dropping off the vehicle. Check out was extremely easy and expedient. Staff was very friend and professional. Clear instructions were provided on returning the vehicle after hours. I would definitely use Eddie's again, as well as recommend them to friends and family.
Barbara BI was quoted $71 and I was told to bring the truck back to the location I picked it up and I did that and I did it in the same day and I was charged almost $300 I want my money back that is not fair
