I was charged an extra 40 dollars because 1) there weren't any staff for me to drop off the keys despite dropping off the truck before the 11 AM deadline and 2) couldn't verify the mobile order because the page wouldn't load via my phone. Thanks Uhaul!BRIAN PIOTR B.

My Reservation Was All Screwed Up Starting With 56 N Hillsborough Uhaul Store They Didnt Have The 26 Uhaul Ready That I Reserved Days Before Coming Nobody Bothered To Call And Inform Me And The Location They Sent Me Too on 50 St Messed Up The Time I Was Pose Bring It Back Instead Of 24 Hours They Made It For 9 Hours And Truck Was Almost On E When We Got It Uhaul Has Went Down But Still Taking People Money With Ghetto ServiceRachaell A.

On returning the truck, the receptacle to leave the keys was open and broken allowing anyone to come and take the keys and the trucks. This needs to rectified immediately. My husband and I videotaped us leaving the keys and showing the broken receptacle.Patti P.
Only that the phone check-in was not working for me. Had to call them several times. I was sent a link and that did not work either. Other than that everything was fine.Karen L.
It was a horrible experience. When I went to pick up the truck Haul around 1:30, Uhaul's office was open but no one was in the office. Someone from next door called the Uhaul agent and took a picture of the ID and handover the key of the truck. When I went to drop off the truck the next day around 1 PM, Uhaul's office was locked, waited a couple of hours, called Uhaul a couple of times. Uhaul said don't have any reservation. I told them still I have the key. They put me on hold for over half an hour and told me to drop the key to the key box next to the outside TOILET. After waiting long hours finally I dropped the key and left. The security guy and my taken picture are my witnesses. Now I see they charged me for 2 days instead of 1 day. Hope you will give me my money back.SAHIN C.
The manager was very nice, extremely helpful and a joy to work with. On the other hand, being just a drop off and pick up site, there's no infrastructure in place to do maintenance or clean the vehicles. Our truck was full of cat food and hair in the cab, and trash in the back. The vehicle hauler trailer was stuck behind a dumpster, making it very difficult to get to. Had to use our personal vehicle to extract it from behind the dumpster. The truck blew three fuses for the trailer lights, and we were in West Texas before we realized that the trailer wiring harness was cut almost all three way through, exposing several bare wires, leading to the short that caused blown fuses. The motor was low on oil, and we had to buy 4 quarts to fill it up. Lastly, a large chunk of rubber was missing from the side wall of a tire. The welts were ok, so were determined it was relatively safe to continue this trip.Josiah S.

One way rental. Got a text that morning assigning a drop off site, tried to call U-haul to change the site but was disconnected once and sat on hold for 20 minutes before giving up the second time. When we arrived with the truck at the drop off location there was no clear indication where to bring the truck or where/if there was an office at all. Finally determined there was no one at the drop off location and we should use the online app. Had trouble with the u-haul website on my phone so called U-haul for help...sat on hold...then finally spoke with someone who was not helpful at all (couldn't figure out where we were supposed to drop off the truck despite the text I received that morning), Finally another person in my party was able to bring up the site on their phone and we were able to check in the truck (after an hour walking around looking for someone who worked there and growing ever more frustrated). As we were leaving someone showed up from U-haul (I guess) who drove by us, told us to move the truck to the dirt lot next door, then drove off. Ugh. Will not be using U-haul in the future.Ian M.
