The pickup revealed how badly managed the business is. The fact that people can't email each other reveals why your customers and employees have to spend hours on the phone to achieve a simple sentence. Also thanks for charging me for storage because you couldn't pick it ip on time. You just bought a 1star on google reviews and Facebook. Good luck with your business improvement efforts-I will never use again

Julie PorcelliniOriginal location was 5 miles away, but I was switched to one 20 miles away the day before pickup. Truck was in good shape and ran well but not swept out. No hand truck available for rental, and no lock (which was attached to the truck in the original location.). Had to buy a lock.

Theresa RodriquezDelivery was late. Communication dreadful! Pickup was early and before empty. Ray of sunshine was the truck driver/forklift operator. Very friendly and accommodating despite the schedule issues!
Burley ClarkVan ran well and was great for moving a couch. When returning the "Check Oil Light" was on and an empty Coke plastic bottle (not ours) fell out of cab when refueling.

robyn dunnellI was overcharged for the rental. I was charged a second day for the rental, dolly and cdw which I did not agree to. The Uhaul customer representative handled my concerns and promptly refunded me $105. I would not recommend Elite auto body since it would appear they are unscrupulous.

Gary LeBlancThe owner was a bigot against the Jewish population and the LGBT community. I had to put him in his place several times. He was making fun of the spelling of my name and how to say it several times and the meaning of it. All nonsensical things. The lights did not work on the vehicle but we had the lights on our other truck that was not his.
Sonya SeygalI was told there would be a dozen furniture pads in the Ubox, however when I opened it up at home there were none. My Ubox was also picked up late from NJ and I was originally told that it wouldn't arrive in UT until at least 2 days after the guaranteed day and that they hoped I wouldn't mind. Considering I had planned all my activities and movers around that guarantee date, I did mind and made a fuss and I believe that was the only reason the Ubox made it by the guarantee date.

Robert GrooverI did select the "clean" when I got the van because I was concerned about holding up my rental. However, the van was not clean. There was left over trash and dirty floors, seats and windshield. Not sure I expected anything more but since I have now been asked again.
Marijo MontgomeryStrongly dislike their objections to my wearing a Covid-19 mask! The desk person constantly repeating "what did you say?" and "I can't hear you" was VERY unpleasant. Fire the desk person, and it would be a great location that I'd recommend.

I can not stress, however, unlike many who complain about their experiences with renting a trailer, I did what was asked of me beofre the pickup date. When the email says get your vehicle qualified for towing, DO IT. Simply call any Uhaul Center that offers towing inspection and they will ask simple questions to determine your ability to tow with said vehicle. When the email comes saying it is time to perform the Check-In, DO IT! Makes getting in and out of pickup location easier for you and the center. STOP BLAIMING THE PICK UP LOCATION FOR YOUR LACK OF PREPERATION.

DIORKA SANTOSWe are quite upset. One of the boxes leaked water and soaked 3 rugs and our furniture. We were able to recover the furniture, we had to throw out the 3 rugs!!!! They stunk so bad and we live in a condo so we had no place to keep them to show uhaul. Also the box location is 45 minutes away.

I received no paperwork stating mileage or fuel level. Would never rent from that location again, U-Haul should be ashamed to be represented by this place

Andrea TempleI really dont believe uhaul gives a @#&%!!! Initially car transport was at a different location than originally booked. Reasonable distance. Then i received a call that transport would be at another different location. This new location added 2+"hours to my planned moving day. Plus it was 80+ miles round trip. Just wasted time and added expenses. Called uhaul traffic to try to find a closer auto transport but nobody gives a shit.

GLENN HUMMONThe original location we booked was a few miles closure to where we needed to go, but the personnel were prompt, friendly and thorough. We called U-Haul costumer service after making our reservation on line and asked about a veteran's discount. The woman had us hold for a moment and returned with the adjustment made to our reservation! What a nice way to start our moving experience! Merci.

JEANNETTE PLENZICKBox was dropped off at an Auto body shop that had no storage units. I had to bring the box across town and rent storage elsewhere. VERY inconvenient for someone who moved across the country to have that responsibility after paying $1700 to do the job. Shame on me to assume you would bring it to a UHAUL facility. These guys dont care about your customers.

Raffaele RappucciMidday on the 1st, after first receiving a phone call saying I needed to travel 45 miles north to pick up the trailer even though I had visited TWO UHaul locations - the first in Pleasantville, NJ where I originally requested to pick up the trailer said they didn't rent trailers even though my reservation had them as the pickup location, and they said I'd have to go 5 miles north to the Absecon, NJ location to do my truck inspection - and I was finally assured the trailer would be available at the Absecon location the next day, and then being told - during the call - that a trailer had just become available much closer in Egg Harbor Township and I could pick it up there, I then received a text message from UHaul saying I should call this Egg Harbor Township pickup location to confirm my planned pickup. I immediately called to confirm and the person who answered asked me to "...come early as we close early." I rearranged my schedule and arrived 40 minutes early - at 2:20 PM instead of 3:00 PM - on the 2nd and asked the clerk to make sure this did not affect my 3:00 PM drop-off time on the 4th, and he said it "absolutely will not." Well.....see my drop-off location comments as to what REALLY happened at drop-off. By the way, the clerk who was in the office at pick-up told me they were open until 4:30 and didn't understand why I was told to arrive early. Go figure.....
PHILIP ECONOMOUMaking sure the hours are correct. We were told that they were open until 1230 and it was posted on their webpage and when we got there at 11:30 nobody was there. We did not have the handtruck that we ordered. Your customer service representative were no help at all
Jennifer DimartinoRented it in Absecon a month before pickup. They called the night before and said I would have to pick it up in Egg Harbor. 30 minutes further away. Was not a good site, and did not have equipment to adjust hitch. Had to take it to Absecon to have it adjusted. Completely unacceptable.
