Provide a Clean truck - truck was filthy inside and out; couldn't see through the dirty windshield with the sun glare and I had to sweep out the truck before loading. Owner listed outgoing mileage incorrectly by 375 miles less and then he wouldn't change it in the computer or make a note. Owner provided incorrect information - he said we would be credited for less miles driven and gasoline amount over the amount at check out. I turned in the truck with 1/4 of a tank over and with less miles than what was listed in the contract. I wasn't credited for gasoline or miles.

The truck reeked if stale cigarettes. I felt nauseated by the smell. Uhaul needs a no smoking policy.

while pleasant, the CS rep demanding things I have never been asked before like 3 phone #'s and for me to take a picture of my license? wth! I have rented dozens of times over last 6 years and have an account. I have never been asked for these things

I was supposed to pick the truck up at 8:00am. When I arrived no one was there and the doors were locked. After about 5 min one of the employees drove up. I asked hime what time the business opens and he said 8:00 but a couple of the employees were running late. After another 5 minutes or so he said he had contacted his boss and was told to open the doors and get my rental moving. Apparently they have a real slow computer connection because he tried to get to the Uhaul system and it took probably 10 min. While I appreciated the help he gave me the mgr or whoever was late and supposed to open the business caused me to be about a half hour late. While I understand that these things happen and may have been the first time this happened, it still didn't leave me with a really positive impression. Also, the truck was dirty both inside the cab and out.

On July 16, 2019 I rented a 10' truck to move a few pieces of furniture. Picking up the truck at Elmer’s Tire and Automotive in Simi Valley, California. I mistakenly did not compare the gas and mileage listed on the paperwork with the actual truck before using the truck. I returned it approximately 1/2 hours later having driven the truck 8.6 miles to find that I had to put a quarter of a tank of gas in and the mileage I was charged with in excess of 100 miles. I made a complaint to U Haul via the phone and representative did not offer any help and stated that it was between me and the pickup location. When I returned, I made a complaint to the guys at the pickup location and was told that they understood that I could not have driven the mileage in the time allotted. But the manager was not at the location and they did not know the procedure to correct it. Two days later I received a voice mail from someone named Fish who was attempting to contact me regarding the problem. I returned the call minutes later and spoke with someone claiming to be calling regarding the complaint. However, she said that she was driving and would have to call me back. Since that time, I have not heard from anyone else. For this rental I was charged $147.85 plus the gas $38.76. The lesson I have learned from this experience is NEVER trust the rental yard and always check the paperwork against the vehicle itself. I shall refer this to the better business bureau.

Still having problems with the UHAUL billing. I received 2 charges on my card. I've talked with them and it appears that the 2nd billing was for the wrong amount of miles. The Area Manager can check the Miles OUT and the Miles IN and see that I only drove total of 94 miles... not 194. After verification of the miles I used, UHAUL will credit back my card for the 2nd charge. The people at Elmer's were very nice and the UHAUL Customer Service person was very nice as well. I have rented from UHAUL before and will do so again.

I have been charged three times so far. They have not returned my calls and now they are claining i drive the truck 100 miles in 4 hours when in reality it was closer to 25. Someone needs to contact me to correct this

Elmer location was very clean and welcoming! He worked hard to clear up the issues from Hemet location mistakes. He contact the Regional Manager and took care of everything. Highly recommend this place!!

The printer will not working and I had to wait 1/2 hour and it did not work when I picked up the car and when I returned the car I rent a truck many times and I never had issues like that I never going back to them I got another truck rental 2 miles away

Stop using vendors to host your trucks. The truck was dirty I called and asked them to make note and was told someone would let me know what happened. I never heard anything more regarding this matter.
