On devait louer le camion vers 8h mais on a du attendre l'ouverture car elle ne prend pas en compte les permis internationaux. Alors qu'il y a pourtant une case pour choisir ces derniers.MickaÃ«l G.

The clerk was really nice and quick. However, We didnt get the right contract when we passed by in store ( it was someone else name/rental). The (wrong) contract and the clerk said the truck tank was at full, while it was half-way in the truck. We never got a cadena to protect the equipment in the trunk, so when I came back after hour, i had to call and make sure there was something in my file, just in case someone decided to steal the stuff inside.Benjamin P.

I reserved a truck at 8h30 before the opening , I had my confirmation to pick up the truck with the application and once arrive the keys was not there , I had to wait an hour for the opening and the employee told me â€œ they forgot to put the keys yesterday â€œMartin R.

The staff were prompt and professional, and addressed me in my mother tongue, which was appreciated. The van we rented was clean - no problem there. However, the right windshield wiper was not functioning, which was a problem on a slushy/snowy day. The internal sensors were also indicating low tire pressure in both rear tires - which, after a visual inspection, did not seem to be the case, but was a bit worrying regardless. Having said that, the van functioned perfectly, and I appreciated the screen on the rear view mirror for backing up.Stuart L.

Staff was friendly but the truck had numerous maintenance lights turn on, wind shield liquid was empty and there was nothing to remove ice and snow on the windshield. We are in Quebec with extreme winter and lots of ice and snow. Every rental provides these basic equipment but according to staff UHaul is not doing it despite numerous feedback from other clients. Please maintain your parking lot to ensure that vehicles do not get stuck in snow and ice while they remain parked for long periods of time. It is incredibly dangerous and unsafe to drive and walk in the parking lot right now.Margaret A.

It was really difficult to open the lockbox, for an unknown reason it didn't open, I waited 1hour outside and it was -20! I called the customer service and they juste suggested I go to another locationâ€¦. which was 40min in public transport. Finally I managed to opened it but it was really difficult and annoying to not have an indoor space where to do it nor helpful instructions. I would suggest to put the lockbox in a heated space.Imane B.
The back tires are really old and that made the driving unsafe on the snowy and icy road. It was also really hard to park, as the tires had no adherence and were spinning on black ice.Annie L.

I chose to pick-up the truck with the mobile application, but this requires a document ( issued by the governement and a photo of me on it) that I didn't have and can't really get as a foreigner in this Country. Nowhere on the website I saw this was needed. Hopefully the u-haul office was open and they were able to solve this but I lost some time and would have been forced to cancel if they weren't open. You should really warn the app users about what is needed to complete the pick-up.Clothilde M.

the truck was dirty, and i felt obligated to clean it in order to avoid being charged extra fees. i arrived at 5:50 to drop off the truck, and the door was locked despite the location being open until 6. I could see the person I'd picked the truck up from inside, but he ignored my knocks. I had to complete the online drop off process, which I wasn't prepared for. It all felt overcomplicated and not focused on the customer.Callum R.

The UHAUL app didnt work at all. Impossible to get the truck at the time we booked. We had to wait two hours until Uhaul employee comes to give us the key. Very disappointed by the service, I don't recommend it. The app is not a good deal.Bernard D.
I had a 7am self pickup scheduled. I arrived to pick up my truck to discover my booking had been changed to â€œin person pick upâ€ at 9am. Later, when I arrived at 9 for the truck, the uhaul employee Informed me that my truck had been returned last night too late for uhaul to prepapre my truck for 7 am pick up. Nobody contacted me to tell me my booking had been changed. Due to uhaul's error. I paid 3 workers each for 2 hrs of wasted time. Unsure if this is standard for UHaul broadly, but if possible it would be helpful to have someone review how to operate the vehicle prior to leaving - similar to renting a car. I had to spend a notable amount of time reading the manual to see if there was an e-brake I was missing, a way to lock the back of the truck so it can't be opened by just anyone, and a few other miscellaneous things.LINDSEY P.

The only issue is/was my reservation was moved to a location 26 mins away. There was a very good reason I pick that location. It was a 15 min walk from where she lived!!!!! It happened to work out, because someone was dropping off the exact vehicle as I was leaving. I went back inside to see if it was avail. It was. Bottom line, have the vehicle at the location requested by the CUSTOMER!!!!Robin L.
