the truck was dirty, and i felt obligated to clean it in order to avoid being charged extra fees. i arrived at 5:50 to drop off the truck, and the door was locked despite the location being open until 6. I could see the person I'd picked the truck up from inside, but he ignored my knocks. I had to complete the online drop off process, which I wasn't prepared for. It all felt overcomplicated and not focused on the customer.Callum R.

I took the truck then i see it s not full i called next day the girl tell me not my problem if u did not check before u leave and tires was very bad conditions so i had to call for service the day i was leaving to move from mtl to windsorNADER A.
The UHAUL app didnt work at all. Impossible to get the truck at the time we booked. We had to wait two hours until Uhaul employee comes to give us the key. Very disappointed by the service, I don't recommend it. The app is not a good deal.Bernard D.
I had a 7am self pickup scheduled. I arrived to pick up my truck to discover my booking had been changed to â€œin person pick upâ€ at 9am. Later, when I arrived at 9 for the truck, the uhaul employee Informed me that my truck had been returned last night too late for uhaul to prepapre my truck for 7 am pick up. Nobody contacted me to tell me my booking had been changed. Due to uhaul's error. I paid 3 workers each for 2 hrs of wasted time. This was a terrible experience and pretty crap service for a company.Donald C.

Unsure if this is standard for UHaul broadly, but if possible it would be helpful to have someone review how to operate the vehicle prior to leaving - similar to renting a car. I had to spend a notable amount of time reading the manual to see if there was an e-brake I was missing, a way to lock the back of the truck so it can't be opened by just anyone, and a few other miscellaneous things.LINDSEY P.

The service was fast, the location wasnt busy, everything was easy. Our only feedback is that the lady at the reception needs a customer service refresher course. She was answering in a blunt way and she wasn't friendly or welcoming. But all in all, everything went smoothly and we are happy with U-Haul. Thank you.Carlos B.

the problem renting through the app I was there to pick up the truck it took me forever to go through all your endless questions and through all those steps and towards the very end the back of my drivers license would not scan tried calling your company and no answer I tried over and over again and again trying to scan the dam thing so basically I spent an hour there before I was finally able to get the keys Surely there has to be a better wayDaniel J.

Staff did not know enough about the equipment in the truck, they could not explain whether the side mirrors moved or not, or where the 4 way flashers were. The truck was dirty in the front and we were told off by the place where we delivered the truck to clean the front part of the truck. Please train your staff.Mehboob L.

The only issue is/was my reservation was moved to a location 26 mins away. There was a very good reason I pick that location. It was a 15 min walk from where she lived!!!!! It happened to work out, because someone was dropping off the exact vehicle as I was leaving. I went back inside to see if it was avail. It was. Bottom line, have the vehicle at the location requested by the CUSTOMER!!!!Robin L.

The truck was quite dirty and dusty when I picked it up. When I returned it (using the app) it asked if it was clean enough for the next customer. I said no, and then it said I had to pay a 25 $cleaning fee....so then I said "yes" because it certainly wasn't my fault it was dirty. I'm guessing this is why it was so dirty when I picked it up. Otherwise, the truck was there. I would suggest not doing the "easy phone pickup" it took us 30 minutes and would have been much easier to speak to someone in person.Lisa B.

Email sent guaranteed truck at 8 am but location opens at 9. We also ordered moving help through uhaul but there was no coordination between the two so the moving help we ordered for 9 am had nothing to do until I got the truck checked out and drove to our residence. Luckily the guys didn't penalize us for the late start even though they didn't have to. It seems like if I order the equipment AND the workers from you, YOU should coordinate time changes. In the end everything was fine but thought this should be mentioned.Richard H.

J'ai du attendre l'ouverture des bureaux uhaul pour rÃ©cupÃ©rer le camion avec un de vos employÃ©s ! Et mÃªme avec l'employÃ©, il y avait encore un autre bug avec votre systÃ¨me... Very easy to get the truck but compared to orher locations it was kind of isolated and the truck was dirty, fuel to 1/2. Employees were very professiknal and helpfull. I would consider giving some love to the locale and having a paved parking. Overall easy experience but not up to par with uhaul or other large car/truck rental companies standards experience-wiseCHARLES-ERIC D.
I got charged for for fuel twice and I filled it up before I returned it, I shouldn't have even been charged. Please let me know how I can get a refund ASAP! I have pictures of everything.Sebastien A.
