It would be helpful to indicate the location of the garage. You gave the address of the building and in the dark it was difficult to find the garage itself which was a block away.
Naim AfrichPas de pneus d'hiver sur le véhicule, ce qui est contraire à la loi québécoie et met en danger la vie des passagers et des autres. Je n'ai jamais pu me rendre à destination (Richmond) car il a neigé la veille et j'avais une petit côte à monter. Pas une montagne, non, juste une côte. C'est franchement enrageant d'apprendre de la bouche de la commis sur place que vous vous en foutez complètement. J'ai loué à plusieurs reprises chez vous et je ne le ferai plus jamais. Les autres compagnies de location respectent la loi et prennent soin de leurs clients. No winter tires on the vehicle, which is against Quebec law and endangers the lives of passengers and others. I was never able to get to my destination (Richmond) because it snowed the day before and I had a little hill to climb. Not a mountain, no, just a hill. It's frankly infuriating to learn from the mouth of the clerk on site that you don't care at all. I have rented from you several times and will never do so again. Other rental companies follow the law and take care of their customers.
Alex LauzonThe guy who handled my reservation slow, dull and was stopping the procedures often to look at instagram stories right on the desk (he wasn't even hiding it). The truck was filthy and half empty. BUT, the price was good and I had everything that I needed (blankets, truck and dolly) so in the end, all is well. Tons of room for improvement though.

Samadhi VilleThe location charged me $100 after I returned the van for cleaning, but I was not informed that that would happen, and I do not believe I caused $100 dollars worth of cleaning to be necessary for the van. I emailed the contact that they provided with me receipt asking what the justification of this charge was, and they never answered.
Jake LawlorNormally functioning vehicle , extremely laid back and purgatory-adjacent in person customer support (due to the fact the office was inside a storage unit facility) which due to my personal love of liminal spaces was entertaining and terrifying at the same time. 5/5 rating. Would have been better if I wasn't hungover.
Kieran StaceyI went to pick up my truck and it was stuck in the parking lot. Nobody offered to help, we asked for salt and a shovel which they did provide. I get the impression most locations are like this, they allow u-haul rentals, but that is not their main business. Overall I got my truck unstuck, transported what I needed and it all worked out. I would rent again from both u-haul and this location as it is convenient and the price was reasonable.

Secondly, understand that this u Haul location is in Montreal, and that there is winter in Canada. I would not recommend Uhaul in the winter as, the vehicule was not appropriate for the snow. How can you not leave a shovel and a wind shield scratcher in a vehicule in Montreal??!?!? The car got stuck in snow, and we had to take off the snow with a shovel we had to bring ourselves!! How terrible, sad and horrific experience we had on that sunday, while there was a snow storm!

Alexandre DeurlooI am sorry to say that I had a terrible experience with Uhaul / GoDepo 202 Saint Zotique, Montreal QC Both service desk people I dealt with were rude, useless, lazy and didn't care whatsoever. - I called in Uhaul Godepo for my reservation and asked for a ramp on the booked truck (didn't matter the length) I was assigned a 10 feet cube with that one request, a loading ramp. When I got there the person told me 10 feet cube trucks don't have ramps. We had to change the reservation. - The person at the desk did not want to make another reservation and I had to argue my case while other customers were waiting. - Because of a previous reservation under my personal phone number I called with for this new reservation, the booking was automatically assigned to "my account" (drivers licence, credit card, email address and phone number). The reservation was for work purposes and I was not the person driving or paying; no one asked my female coworker for a credit card or a drivers licence when she picked up the van. THIS IS DANGEROUS ! Anyone could have made a reservation with my phone and put it under my personal information, credit card included ! Or, I could have found anyone's phone in the street and made a reservation ! - Again I had to argue my case and the person at the desk exhaled loudly every 10 seconds telling me he wouldn't cancel and re-do the reservation for me. Because I was on a time constraint I had to accept the reservation with all my personal information and call the Uhaul call center to try and change things to my work's credit card, the correct drivers licence and insurances. The level of unprofessionalism and carelessness the two employees I dealt with showed is insane. They clearly do not want to work there. They won't help you with anything. Barely told us where to get the van we could find. My company rents dozen la of Uhaul trucks a month. We will never book anything with you anymore. Thank you. Frederic hb 902 329 8281

Véhicule d’aspect correct sur l’extérieur mais très mal entretenu d’un point de vu mécanique: - camion qui part vers la droite - freins voilés qui fait trembler fortement le véhicule à chaque freinage. C’est la première fois que je loue un véhicule chez vous et c’est la première fois que je ressent un manque de sécurité à l’utilisation d’un véhicule loué. Je passe sur l’odeur et l’état de propreté intérieur du camion qui montre aussi votre talent à vous occuper correctement de vos équipements…

They never told me about the key box which was located on the other side. I had to figure it out myself since my rental was until 5pm.

The employee found that perfectly normal, no apologies. 2) the fact that trucks are not fully filled up with gasoline when we pick up the van is very confusing and in fact you just count on your clients to fill it up a little bit more than when we take the van. That is close to illegal.

When we brought back the truck and left the key, the reservation was still marked ongoing in our profile hours later. Really not a good user experience. Use the real person at the counter if you go there!

Le camion que j'avais réservé n'était plus disponible en arrivant. On m'a proposé un plus grand camion au prix de celui que j'avais réservé initialement mais j'ai été facturé le prix du grand camion. Le camion fonctionnait bien et était relativement propre.

Chris BrooksThe fact that the truck was available and that I eventually got into it was the only reason why I rated this experience average. I was picking up after hours, so I had no one to physically help me find the truck. When I got to a location, I was walking around for almost a half hour doing all the crap to actually find the truck and get into it. Once I got in, I understand that there are picture verifications to do and all that, but damn, the process to get in was a real pain. There should be a warning for people who are picking up the truck after hours that things are going to take a long time, and that they should do the identity verification before they actually get to the truck. I had the hardest time finding someone who was available to a 2nd ID verification for me at the time I picked up. anyway, it wasn't the best experience, and I was super stressed by the time I got to driving the truck because even though I allotted for more time, I was still late for the meeting I needed to get to.

SOPHIA DIENGI am very disappointed with u-haul! They provided me with a truck where the turning lights were not working! I almost got 2 big accidents because people could not see where and when I was taking the exists and turning. I had to do many more extra km, because I wasn't capable to take the exist in the highway, the people could not see my intentions. Moreover, because of that I got stopped by the police. Thanks to them I realized that the lights were not working and fortunately, they did not give me a ticket. Vert stressful and dangereuse situation. In return I got nothing!!! Not even a reimbursement of the tones of km extra I had to do because of that issue. Very very very disappointed! Waiting for someone in u-haul to call me!

Truck was not clean at all; there was dirt, tree branches, rocks, and a mostly eaten pizza crust in the truck…When I started the truck, I couldn't access the mileage for the check in process because of a warning about low tire pressure, and when I want to ask the employee for help, they disappeared. I called three times as well, no answer. Employee also gave me the wrong instructions for the check out process. If I hadn't rented a truck before, I would have actually listened to his instructions and been categorically screwed.

The employee at the counter did not seem to understand our questions about the pricing system of the gaz and we ended up getting overcharged for fuel, even though I explained that it was below the 7/8 of the tank at the start of our location. Paying 15$ for gaz for 9km doesn't seem right and it would have been avoidable with someone who listened properly at the counter.

The van was empty. I was not even sure I could make it to the gas station. It is innaceptable. Over all with the inscription process and the gas, I have paid 1 hour for nothing..

brian lamportVery bad experience. It was not possible to pick up the truck in time, and the truck was rescheduled without notice. The tires were low when we drove it ans before we left. U-Haul in general is a bad company and I would never recommend it to anyone. Too bad there is not enough competition for the price cause there would have some change then in the company for sure.

Les horaires d'accès pourraient être un peu plus étendus car il est plus difficile d'accéder au loading dock le matin, avec les camions des autres entreprises présentes dans le building, qui chargent du matériel. Les entrepôts sont fonctionnels et sécuritaires. Le système Informatique des facturations connaît des ratés, et les factures ne s'envoyant pas toujours systématiquement, mais ce n'est pas bien grave. On les demande à William et ils nous les renvoie. Je recommande GoDepo.
