The location was closed but I was able to pick up the truck with the app and do everything with my phone. The problem was they did not have the correct equipment for me. I had ordered an appliance dolley and instead they put two small furniture dolley's in the truck. When I called to get it corrected the reservation people wanted me to go to a place 30 minutes drive away in the opposite direction to exchange it when there was a facility literally about a mile down the road toward my house. I stopped there and was able to exchange the dolley myself. The people at the facility that exchanged the dolley were terrific, Lisa who I talked to with customer service about the issue was terrific, the corporate reservations who wanted me to drive an hour out of my way to fix their mistake is what will make me use Ryder next time. Completely incompetent. Do yourself a favor and only agree to pick up equipment in person at an open facility so you can be sure you get what you paid for. Don't trust them to get it right.
