I picked up a 26' truck at Essence Events, I used the mobile pick up and then had to go in the location to pick up the keys. I waited for 15 minutes for the woman working to get out of her car and off the phone. After getting the keys and going back to the truck, she pulled up in her car and said she was getting rid of all their trucks and asked me to drop off at another location. I asked if anything needed to be changed in the system, she said no, it is all connected. I went to drop the truck off at another location and was notified that I would be charged extra since I agreed to drop it off at same location. So we drove back to the original location, did the mobile drop off, and attempted to drop off the keys. The door was locked and there was no one there. We looked all over for a key drop box (I have pictures) and there was not one. We called the location and there was no answer. We left the truck and took the keys so that nothing would happen to the truck. Called Customer Service this morning, they were able to get location manager on the phone and we dropped the keys off. This was an awful experience. Additionally, the truck had roaches, we had to treat the truck for bugs and delay our move a day.

If none of the equipment was working, why keep renting it out. Eithet it should have been taken off the website or at least customer notified to find a replacement. Waste of time.

One person there was supervising a group of children and had a hard time checking my rental back in with her cracked personal phone. However the location was very convenient for me. I would use this location again for drop off only because of its location!

Attendee was not able to process the rental without assistance that we had to wait for. Then upon return, we were told because we were less than an hour late (recorded check in) we were charged a full extra day and insurance fee. The person checking us in said she couldn’t do anything to adjust for the extra charges. Had we been able to rent and return to the place we usually rent from we would not have been late due to traffic and construction. We would never rent from this location again!

I reserved the truck early in the week and got a call the night before the rental at 8:00 pm that they didnt have the truck at my location or able to pick it up early. I had to go 20 miles further south to get the truck and then they didnt have the equipment requested. They hadn't properly released the truck so I had to wait for corporate to do so. An hour and a half later than my scheduled pick up,I finally got the truck and had to go to another location to get the hand cart. The movers I hired were waiting around over an hour that I had to pay them for so that was an added expense not anticipated as well as the additional gas and mileage i had to pay tracing from the other location
