Better front end experience and roadside assistance. The second roadside assistance person, Dan, had to clean up the mess Antonio left by not supporting us with the trailer failure. I was very impressed with Dan's quick actions. I was also impressed with John Smith the area service manager in CO. The back half experience was really great.

The folks at Essex Agway accidentally charged me for an extra day when they checked in the vehicle. But after being made aware of that issue, they have been very responsive and helpful. I'd recommend them to others as a rental or drop-off location. Very kind souls work there!

Not charge people when you completely screw them over by changing their pick up time and location and they end up having to pay expensive penalties for not being out of their previous rental in time. And maybe offer them a pick up truck to borrow free of charge so they can get the stuff they weren’t able to get since I wasn’t able to get everything.

Williston location was great the rest left a lot to be desired. Made reservation weeks ahead. Company changed size of truck,location to pick it up,and9 hours after the time I requested. Had to call company which took 2 hours to be told to call Williston Vermont again. Williston made new reservation with the smaller truck for the right time. Called to cancel first reservation which started the chain of calls again. President of company needs to get out of his office to see how poorly things are. Several people that day of pickups had same issues. Very disturbed that I had to get smaller thickening took several trips instead of 1. Cost me more money. As a senior citizen money is not plentiful. Very upset and would never recommend using your company Dan Griffiths

I completed the mobile check-in only to find out that they did not have the keys for the van I was checked into. I waited 20 minutes for a new contract and van. The following week I received two charges, one for the correct amount and another for $95 dollars. When I called the location the agent told me to call the 800 number to get it resolved.

I was extremely disappointed that day before I was told that I was getting a 20' truck verses the 26' I had reserved the week prior. To small and same price as 20 there for cost me another 19.98 to rent a 5x8 pull trailer. Very disappointed

It took me more then a month to get a truck for the length of time I needed it for. I did not even know that this site even existed. The main office on Riverside Avenue was having all kinds of scheduling problems..( they had more customers then trucks available) what a terrible problem to have if you know if the local office knew what they were doing.

The equipment I had reserved wasn't available when I arrived, is answer to the problem was " oh well, guess the other customer didn't return it on time, only thing we can do is call them and hope they answer." I had to ask the associate for an alternative as opposed to being offered one. I ended up with a 10-foot truck when a 20-foot was reserved. Uhaul did however follow through with its $50 reservation guarantee.

Rented in Burlington, VT and wasn't told it was in Williston until after I booked it. Not a huge deal but should've been asked before I booked. This is a website issue as I had no problems with the people at the location or the vehicle itself.

I picked up my U-HAUL Van from a local Agway. Staff were extremely helpful. I received proper confirmation the day before. The van was clean, gassed up and ready to go. It was brand new. Only had 1000 miles on it. Dropped the key off in a drop box. Received bill early the next morning. The van was the perfect size needed for moving my daughter out of her dorm. The whole experience could not have gone smoother. I would highly recommend this site for renting a U-Haul! ????

The people at Agway where I rented the truck were extremely friendly. The truck was clean .BUT the truck was TERRIBLE on fuel. With vehicles with poor gas mileage and rising gas costs I would Uhaul would lower its mileage rates. .79 cts a mile and bad gas mileage does NOT make for an inexpensive way to move. I only had a short distance to move but for somebody moving any kind of distance the gas and mileage alone would not be worth renting a uhaul .

Rented two trucks over two days during inclement weather. Both had virtually useless wipers. Visibility and safety go hand in hand. The service was wonderful at the Agway location, will be back.

I have a credit card that offers insurance coverage for rental cars so I declined the $11.00 for insurance from U-Haul Van. The clerk was good and made it clear that it might not cover for a Van rental. Neither of us knew for sure and I did not have time to call my card company and find out. I would propose that while it would probably lose you some money from insurance payments, it would be good for consumers if you had some idea which cards definitely offered benefits that made the insurance you offer unnecessary. I reserved a truck online and the next day got a text confirmation of a different location and time. I called uhaul and was told that was the closest that could be done to my choice. I then confirmed my reservation with the pick up location and again got an email confirmation with a different truck and time. I called uhaul again and was told they could change the truck size but not the time. I agreed. I arrived at the location at the time I was given and was told they didn't have my truck and would have to drive to a different location for pickup. I ended up getting the truck I had originally reserved at the location I had originally requested but was several hours late for my moving which cost me more in moving help. The online system and persons answering calls for uhaul gave out incorrect info multiple times. It was disorganized and frustrating.

They were so helpful and managed to put a smile on our faces both before and after our freezing moving adventure. It was so heartwarming to have such great customer service during a stressful time. Rented a U-Haul truck here and dealt with the owner upon rental pick-up. Had the rental until 3pm the following day. I rented the truck, brought it back early and had a rental for duniture pads as well. I drove the truck all the way back and forgot to put two of the furniture pads inside and left them at my house which was 30 minutes away. I decided I would call the following day to let them know and had a woman answer the phone who said the truck was already checked in and I was charged for the pads. I explained the situation and told her that I do have the rental until 3pm and understood I brought it back early and should have the ability to return the rented pads with no cost as long as they got returned by the end of the rental period. I brought the furniture pads back to the store and dealt with the Agway owner again who acted as if he didn't remember who I was yet quoted a comment and questioned a comment I said the previous day which obviously shows he remembered me. He said he couldn't do the return and I'd have to call the district manager. Not only did he stand there and argue over business practice he must also have a case of small man syndrome as he rather talk than listen and his attitude went from 0-60 in no time. He had full capability to process a return after talking with uhaul customer service as well as the rental truck we picked up had a wiper that was missing. Didn't realize this until driving down the snow covered road and went to use the wipers from road spray coming from traffic ahead and the wiper failed to work and caused us to experience dangerous driving conditions. The previous rental we had from the same Agway within a week apart had the furniture pads lock out tag broken and to avoid a charge I had to go into the store to inform them that they didn't check the truck in properly otherwise I would have incurred a charge for the opened furniture pads option which didn't have a break away tag. What could have been done differently- --Trucks could be checked in properly and the owner could be better with customer service. -- The owner instead so arguing with me in the store about correct business practices could have simply issued the refund of $10 and listened rather than trying to speak over me. - The owner could have went ahead and took care of (me) the customer....and the fact he wouldn't take care of a $10 furniture pad return makes me question larger purchases that I would make in his store. - I would advise potential rental customers and store customers to be cautious when dealing with the owner who is a liar and acts like he has no idea what your talking about. He could have simply called me prior to processing the uhaul check in to verify everything but decided not to. I will not be bringing any business back to this store and will advise the hundreds of people I come in contact with everyday at my job not to as well.

I arrived at 5:50pm to a location that closes at 6 - and in a snow-storm situation. I did not get the name of the amazing lady who dropped everything to make sure I got the right truck - she adivsed me, then walked outside to show me the one she recommended. I bought the insurance because she sold it very well. She MADE my experience. I walked wanting a cargo van and ended up with a 15' ramp truck because of her great attention to what we needed (a way to ttransport a snowblower; ramp def needed).
