Place was closed the sign out front was so small I passed it twice had to do two u-turns and no direction on where to park the truck. For the money I spent between the packaging and the truck I’ll find somewhere else to go next time. Very unacceptable.

I was sent to this location because the truck at my nearest location wasn’t returned. The truck was so low on fuel I had to drive straight to the nearest gas station.

I've used other uhaul locations in the past with no problems. I did register online and get some information there, but this place just took some information about my license and handed me the keys. I added an additional driver and they didn't even look at that driver's license. They didn't explain anything about the truck. I had to ask if I was supposed to fill the gas tank to where it was originally when I returned it. I took a picture of the gas level on the dash when I left as I had nothing written down to say what I should fill it to. They had trouble printing my receipt and said they would email it to me. I never got that email. They were supposed to credit my card for a gift certificate they couldn't figure out how to run and they did not do that. I contacted Uhaul and they are fixing that part. A backup light was out on the truck. A dolly was left in the truck that I did not rent (a bonus, but it shows they didn't check the truck). They told me they were resetting my appointment time when they tried to run the gift certificate, but that never showed up on any documentation either. I finally got a receipt because I asked specifically for it when I returned the truck and the guy found it still sitting on the printer. Overall, I was very unimpressed with the way things are handled at this location and I am glad I never took my car there to be serviced. I have heard the actual Uhaul Riverside location in Evansville is good. If I rent again, I will go there.

Check-In mobile/online did not work. It would not get past the location requirement. Tried on 2 different phones, both had location services on. Tried on different apps and websites. U-Haul app would not work.

It was cluttered with other vehicles that they do work on there. Hours were listed wrong on the website. They told us to just drop it off anytime.We actually backed into one of the vehicles sitting on their lot when we were trying to turn around and had to file a claim with our insurance.

Before renting, the owner, Jason Stills, let us go into all of the vehicles to make sure we had the one that would be the best for us. Later, he set up the booking over the phone and made sure it was there for the holiday weekend. When we got there, the truck was cleaned out and ready to go. They parked it in the front so it was easy to get in and out of the lot. Jason personally went over everything with the truck before we left. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. Great customer service; courteous, professional and pleasant. Clean shop. Vehicles in good condition. Nice selection and conveniently located.

Jason was super helpful and laid back! He let us delivery our tow dolly a day early so we could unload the truck easier and even parked it for us. The best UHaul location and customer service we dealt with the entire trip.

I just got an email saying I dropped off my truck on the 21st at 545 pm. I dropped it off on the 19th around 2pm. It also says 3/8 tank which is what I rented it at. I dropped it off with half a tank.

Owner of business did not open on time. Did not return my call. The vehicle was clean, but was a quart low on oil and oil maintenance light was on. Also, the headlights are extremely dim. I had to drive at night with the high beams on permanently. Your customer service representatives were great though.

Picked up trailer tire was flat. Tire was aired up and plugged. I drove about 10 miles and tire was flat. Called dealer I got trailer from and he said to call Uhaul. He gave me number which was customer service. Waited on hold for 10 minutes plus. The person who answered gave me number for roadside assistance. Called and waited another 10 minutes plus for someone to answer. After about another hour service truck arrived. I waited 2 hours plus on side of road to get tire repaired. Not a satisfied customer!!

I had a confirmed pickup time of 9:00am, with movers scheduled to arrive at 10:00am. I arrived shortly before my 9:00 am pickup time. The location's signage stated its opening time was 8:30am, and there was a light on. However, nobody was there and the door was locked. I knocked on every door I could find, but couldn't get anyone to show up. I tried calling the number and no one answered. I even messaged the location via my U-Haul account, with no response. Finally, at 9:30am someone showed up. He was not very polite and was not apologetic that he was 30 minutes late. I asked him for a discount because he was late, and he said he would see what he could do for me. He said he couldn't get the computer system to work and just took down my driver's license number and credit card number. He didn't give me any paperwork or have me sign anything. After my move, I checked my credit card statement and noticed an extremely high charge - $40 more than what I had agreed upon in my U-Haul reservation. I called U-Haul customer service, and they said my initial reservation was cancelled on my pickup date and a new one was created with the higher price. This was done without my permission or knowledge and no paperwork was given to me. The new contract didn't even show up on my U-Haul account and no confirmation email was sent. I am waiting on U-Haul customer service to review my objection and make it right. DO NOT. I repeat, DO NOT use this location. Save yourself some trouble and avoid Evansville Auto Care and do not give them any of your business. They are disorganized, disrespectful, and dishonest.

I was happy that the van was in new condition. This store said they opened at 830 am and there we not open so I just had to drop the keys.

Comments: Office area was cluttered. More than one business was in operation utilizing the office space. U-Haul signage was lacking from the street identifying this location as a U-Haul vendor. Street access into and out of the vendor's lot is difficult since street has a raised median between opposing lanes. Improve: Vendor cannot improve location shortfalls. More signage is needed.

This experience was stressful. The size of trailer was not right. The 800 service number were not helpful on making the correction. They did made the price change. The call this morning about the turn of trailer was unnerving. It was there but not checked in. The process is not easy.

There isn't anything wrong with the location, but the trucks do not have cruise control. Driving 700+ miles without cruise control is a big pain in the ass.
