This location is in a dangerous area of Edmonton. The clerk at EXPO did not know that the key was to be returned to her and there was no drop box, so I had to call U-Haul the next day to figure out what to do with the key.

Truck had a meth head in the back with crack pope and foil burnt and the truck smelled like homeless and smoke

That's unacceptable for such company… nothing works even your system doesn't work on their side, qr code shows not available and he can't continue ?!? And suddenly I have 40miles extra charge why? It's already booked for a long road trip for such a huge money, and you have hidden fees? If you keep putting your drop off locations all further areas than where people live, then you can't charge us…

Awful parking, terrible shabby convenience store that mostly sells Marijuana paraphernalia. Slow service, made me move the vehicle twice.

The owner wasn't helpful at all, a bit rude. The site had hardly any parking. Very small location. Not the best location for drop-off. On the website, it should mention downtown and little parking. I was less than impressed.

Terrible experience at drop off. An absolute dive, in the worst part of town - I was supposed to return my vehicle at 9am Sunday, but when I arrived, the store was closed and there was no drop box for the keys. I had to call U-Haul, (twice), in order for them to eventually just tell me to leave the keys in the glovebox and walk away. Absolutely terrible experience after what had otherwise been a hassle free rental

Other than that the store was just selling smoking stuff which are very harmful. I did not have any issues

This location was was horrible. The person at the location didn't know what he was doing, didn't speak English to be able to explain anything and I was over charged for a gas fee when we filled the tank up. I also paid a fee for a dolly which was never provided. The total I paid for over charges is around $80. I haven't had a response from U-Haul about this situation after I spoke with someone about these issues. This location should be removed from your list. Overall a very poor experience. I'd rather pay a friend to use their truck. Not sure I would use U-Haul again after this

I am not exaggerating when I say that I had to park the uhaul in a LITERAL dump. This location is horrifying, the trucks are just parked in a pile of garbage with people picking through it. I felt completely unsafe. Absolutely terrible, scary, awful location. The clerk was very polite though.

It is difficult to park a 26' uhaul at this location. Any other size would not be a problem.

I had initially picked a Uhaul location to the west of where I was. I received a text telling me to drop the Uhaul off at the "EXPO Convenience Store". As an older, single woman, this was the worst possible location I could have been sent to. The surrounding streets, and even the area where I was supposed to physically put the vehicle, were teeming with apparent "druggies". This was the middle of the afternoon, and I felt very unsafe. I saw a person having a bowel movement - yes, on the street, in broad daylight - about one block before I arrived at the location. Another couple were having a physical fight. The young man who checked the vehicle in for me SAID he had sent me an email receiving the vehicle. I still to this day haven't received that, or any communication from Uhaul that they received the vehicle back. I wasn't about to wait around for the email, given the neighbourhood - and it's a good thing I didn't, as, like I said, I still haven't received it! The music was BLARING inside the store, and the worker's English wasn't sufficient that I could understand him. All in all, NOT a good impression as a Uhaul store.

Terrible communication. Illegible contract. Store rep did not seem competent at all. Would have been easier had the rep not been there. Had set info online prior to pickup and he confused it all and I had to reenter the info again with him struggling to use the interface. Had to try the locks of a couple trucks to see which one was mine because I couldn't get any answers from the rep. Had to clean out back of truck prior to using. Rented a number of uhauls over the years. By far the worst location and customer experience.

The overall experience was not acceptable. This location was not the location but with U-Haul that I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul from.

Not put your uhauls In a random smoke shop only uhaul stores the people where terrible it was not manged well, they tired to scam me and not refund me, I got the trucked empty and they didn't tell me would never do this again

Location is a drug paraphernalia store. Very dirty. Did not help or show me how to hook up tow dolly. Wanted me to use the store credit card machine in stead of the uhaul one. Truck was dirty and filled with junk in the box. Horrible experience.

I had completed the mobile pick up so all I had to do was go inside to get the key. This location is in a very sketchy area of town, there was drug paraphernalia in the store for sale/on display. The guy had NO IDEA what he was doing, I showed him my completed online pick up and he proceeded to create the reservation and then was confused why there was two reservations on the truck. I had showed him my completed page 3 times at this point and had tried to politely explain. We were also in a bit of a rush and were here for over 45 minutes when all we were suppose to have to do was get the key and go. I will NEVER go back to this location and will only use uhaul again if I am very desperate. One of the most frustrating experiences I have had. Also there were homeless personal all around and sleeping behind the truck.
