Make sure that the representatives for your company aren't some shady side company running side operations, this Uhaul company wasn't a Uhaul company it was a dress maker, and the U-Haul was secondary, they left out important details that were vital, and when asked about them initially they were under minded to later then be thrown in my face. They representative reassured me that the total original amount was enough to cover the entirety of the move, to later be up charged as if there were hidden fees. Very disappointed and financially unsatisfied with the cost. This was my last time choosing a company that makes U-Haul secondary to there other business, the location was about the only respectable perk this owner choose.

Gretchen BishopUhaul literally broke absolutely everything I own. The box was broken into, precious, irreplaceable items were stolen like my engagement rings from my fiance that passed away, and nobody informed me. They delivered the box completely broken and held together with a packing strap. When the strap was taken off, the nail infested door almost collapsed on my mother's head. No one bothered to tell us that there was nothing holding the door up. And to top it all off, even though we paid for the insurance, UHaul refused to pay for anything.
Ryan SpadyTruck needs to be serviced. There are cords showing on the worn front tires, the steering is loose, back up light lens is broken and truck is dented. She told me about it and I agreed to use it anyway.

David EpsteinInterior was not clean. Low air indicator came on before I departed office. Attendant had to pump air in rear drivers tire. I drove for three days and the tire held air. On day four I went to another U-Haul office to have air put in tire because the original office was closed at the time I needed air. I even tried Fred Meyer and their air pump was out of order.
Chyll PerryLocation & owner at this uhaul is great! Honey went out of her way to be helpful. I already told several people to use her next time they need uhaul. I didn't rate the actual trucks because I drove 3 different ones but I think uhaul should only use trucks that are perfectly maintained or let customers know before hand the seats might be torn up & door handles might be broken...otherwise lower ur prices

KRISTAN INGERSOLLI request a van and that was not available due to previous individual still had it and took key of van out of state. Van was replaced by a small box truck. The box truck had the check engine light and wheel sensor light light. I informed the individual whom i rented the vehicle from and they said it was noted and her manager was informed. I understand that things happen but i also know that the other U-Haul location had a van, maybe it could of been brought over. With the check engine and wheel light on, i should of been told before hand because i worried that there was something wrong with the vehicle. I will rent from U-haul again but i think due to the issues with the vehicle and box truck a small discount should of been offered.

Charity Goddard SmithI rented the truck at 10:00am on Saturday, and then returned the truck at 6:00pm on the same day. For some reason, the return app on my phone wasn't functioning correctly and it was recommended that I do a normal after-hours dropoff. Because U-Haul closes at 4:00pm at this location and isn't open on Sunday... I was charged an additional $20 fee.

Sherri TincherEmployee did not explain well the charges or that there would be a charge of $20 more just not being it back when the doors close at 4:00 pm when the vehicle was rented at 10:00 am the same day (Saturday), and hours at this Uhaul on Saturday is 10am to 4pm; back passenger side tire very low; had to clean off the accumulated snow on the truck. My card was charged $74,01 another one for $64,6 (2-sparate charges) and had to call UHaul 2/13/23 about these charges in addition that a charge of $39,95 was also there that was suppose to be taken off on 2/11/23 because this Uhaul lady told me to get a 4wd same cost.

Heather HutchisonI have no problems whatsoever with Express Alterations or the local U-Haul agent. However, I declined all coverage when I reserved the truck online. At the location, U-Haul's computer system added a $5 "SafeTrip" fee that I distinctly remembered declining. That was a shady move, bordering on fraud, that U-Haul did...but it is such a small amount that it's not worth me pursuing a refund for. Again, no complaints about Express Alterations - but this move by corporate U-Haul was dishonest.

Jonathan iaoLI don't know what to say except I was told to bring the uhaul back full and I decided to make sure it was full and went to the gas station after I picked it up and it was missing almost $22 in gas and I called about it and I don't know if she was going to make it right I doubt it though cause she made it seem like I wasn't going to be reimbursed or compensated for it. She asked me why I did that and I said I didn't want to be charged for not filling it up and how was I to know how much gas to put in to equal the amount at pickup

Christopher FredellThe owner at this UHaul location is nice enough however the trailer was not swept out and had a couple of flattened, useless cardboard boxes in it. Probably the worst part of the experience was this. The night before I was to pick up the trailer I had to use my vehicle to retrieve the 6x12 from the Juneau Alaska ferry terminal. Then I had to drop it off at the UHaul location and park it by myself in the dark. When I was unhitching the trailer it started rolling toward the street. I wasn't strong enough to rehitch the trailer to my vehicle and was holding it from the road with my own strength. After struggling with the trailer a few minutes I had to let it go and it fortunately rolled into and stopped in a small depression just before the road. This bothers me for several reasons. First, I had to essentially beg to get the 6x12 trailer sent from another location because I was called and told that size wasn't available for my pick up date. I was offered a 5x8 instead, which I would not accept because UHaul can substitute equipment but if it is of equal or greater size, per UHaul.com. So why would I recommend this location? It's because it's the only moving rental company in Juneau, Alaska.
David MooreThe truck only had half a tank and the owner made me fill up the gas it cost me over $112 to fill up which is more than the rental. I will never use uhaul again

Kenneth VaughanI need better communication as it always seems I get extra charges when i return my vehicle. We could not put fuel into the vehicle due to a broken gas cap, so we were charged an extra fuel charge when it wasn't our fault. I will work hard to avoid using UHaul when possible.

Monica KunatExcellent service à la clientèle. But with Numerous Service indicator lights "on" on the dashboard when vehicle is turned on prior to pick up. Vehicle maintenance is required. Other than that, the vehicle worked great.
ROGER PADIOSThe location requires that the vehicles are across the street, and it wasn't immediately obvious where the office was. However, those things didn't make it a bad rental experience. The woman was professional and friendly, and went out of her way to give us the best vehicle she had on the lot. The area felt safe, and is easy to access. Fortement recommandé!
