I was not advised there would be a cost to use the dolly. I was charged $25 because they had to fold blankets. I was charged $20 for gas despite returning with the amount I left with. No interest in making this right when I called to dispute. Don’t appreciate the lack of transparency in explaining costs to me.

Same as above - I would not fault the drop off location. But I would not recommend uHaul to anyone due to the flawed online system which is a corporate issue, or a store unit issue.

This location is in a vehicle service station so it is a bit less inviting and the attendant did not have a staff to park the vehicle for you.

I rented a 6 x 12 trailer. They expected me to lift the trailer to attach it to my truck. I am 76. They finally offered to help and it took two of us. This trailer needs a jack to lift it.

Signage was lacking - name of facility on reservation was not the same as the name of the business at the pick-up location. The fact that I didn't get a paper copy of anything at pickup was concerning - I was told I would get an email which I didn't. The online resources were less than clear and not at all easy to use.

I put gas in the truck to put it back at the level it was when I purchased the truck. I had drove around like an extra 15 miles because they recently changed locations. I arrived and I was a bit under where I received it and when I asked the lady if I should put more (I also explained my tight financial situation to her do to recent events) and she told me it was fine not to worry about it. Between this U-Haul and the one I rented the truck from I spent an extra $70+ that I really needed to get through that week.

When we went to pick up the truck, they complained about them closing at 1pm on a Friday and not wanting to rent me the truck. They charged me $25 for a cleaning fee when I received the truck it was filthy. We cleaned it the best we could and they still charged us. This is a horrible location to get trucks from. Uhual please remove them as a neighborhood dealer.

The truck we rented was located in a separate lot from the office. The personnel told us they didn't have any furniture pad or furniture dolly as we had requested (and been guaranteed), they handed us our key and a pamphlet and bid us good day. We had to drive to the lot and walk around to figure out which truck was ours. The truck was dirty in the cab as well as in the back. The tank was half full so we assumed it should be half full when we returned it but we were charged for fuel by the drop off location anyway. When we picked the truck up, the woman in the office did not explain that the pamphlet she handed us was our rental contract. She didn't explain we would need it when we returned the truck. So when we returned the truck we did not have the pamphlet on us.

We rented a trailer to pull behind our vehicle. The lights were not working on the left hand side, and there weren't any other trailers of the size we needed. We didn't even know this until we got the trailer home. These should be inspected and in working condition when they are rented out. Very disappointed!

The woman who was working with me was very nice and helpful. However the first day there was a difference in the price she was trying to charge me and what I agreed to pay when speaking with corporate office. So I lost a day there. When I finally got everything situated the next day and went to pick up the truck, the trailer was not even attached. So I spent a half hour out in the hot sun trying to get the trailed hooked up on my own. When I picked trucks up at Penske before, the trailers were always attached.

Have the corporate office communicate with the local office. I had confirmation to drop off the uhaul at another location but at pick up was told if I didn't return the truck to the original location I would be charged double as a glitch in the corporate system even after having a confirmation email stating to return at a different location. After drop off was charged additional mileage usage associated with having to drop the truck off at the original location. I reserved a 15 foot truck. I was called the day before to be told the location didn't have 15 foot trucks and I would be upgraded to a 20 foot truck at no additional cost. On pick up I was told that "they" (corporate) did not have the correct information. All around a frustrating experience as there was clear lack of communication between corporate and the local branch.

Be ready to do all of the connecting and checking yourself. I was left completely to myself to do the connections and testing the hitch connection and chains all on my own. Although this was not an issue for me it could be for folks that have never rented a trailer for towing of for someone that can not pick up the tongue of a trailer themselves.

Trailer was old/rusty. There was no jack stand and I could not lift the trailer off my tow hitch. The branch told me I could return on Sunday and then charged me for returning on Monday. When I called to discuss the charges their phones weren’t working. This is a terrible way to do business.

Steve was awesome! Hes the owner. He took excellent care of us. He towed us to his uhaul spot, he made sure my broken down car was secure on the tow dolly. Then sent us on our way. Great place !!

Let’s start with better customer service. These people didn’t know anything about their job, nor did they know how to use the UHAUL app. They were extremely rude. Secondly the truck was a little filthy.

This place had easy access off Hwy 17 and 95. I made my reservation online earlier that day. I got dropped off at the front door, went in and verified my ID and signed my contract. I drove out in a serviceable (base model, but functional) truck less than 5 minutes after my arrival. Drop-off was the exact same in reverse. Would rent here again with no issues.
